The elevated structure has dramatically evolved the Keikyu Kamata Station. It is a fun station, but passengers who are not familiar with it are likely to mistakenly board the wrong train. Under the elevated structure, there is a row of chain stores such as GU, 1000 yen haircut, Sukiya, Ootoya, and Tenya. At the entrance, you can enjoy seasonal limited-time menus that evoke the autumn scenery, such as tempura bowl with oysters, mushrooms, and autumn vegetables. The prices may be a bit high, but the elegant and refined taste is exceptional. It's no wonder that there are many sophisticated customers. Chain stores these days are not to be underestimated.

I went to Tenya for the first time in a long time. I think it's been about 4-5 years since I last came. The tempura seems to taste better now. I know it sounds like I'm bragging, but my taste buds have become more refined, so I'm sure it's true. They also have good equipment, so it's worth the cost. It's a royal Tenya, so it's reliable. I want to go again because it's casual and you can easily enjoy tempura.

I visited the restaurant around 12:50 on October 25th. I was seated at the counter and ordered the mixed tempura rice bowl and scallops. The food arrived in about 5-6 minutes. The bowl contained two medium-sized shrimp tempura, pumpkin, lotus root, string beans, and scallops. I started with the scallops, which were sweet and delicious. The pumpkin stuck to the rice because it was thinly sliced. The shrimp was tasty. I didn't feel completely full, but I was satisfied to a certain extent. I might try a different menu item next time.

Hello, this is Hanedaman! Yesterday, during my lunch break at work, I happened to pass by Keikyu Kamata Station, so I got off and went to Tenya in front of the station! It's conveniently located right next to Keikyu Kamata Station, and you can easily see inside, making it very inviting! I was a bit indecisive about which tempura bowl to get, but I decided to go with the All-Star Tempura Bowl, which has shrimp and shiitake mushrooms in it! It was a hot day, so I was grateful when the staff offered me cold tea! Their modest but attentive service was very much appreciated! Before long, the All-Star Tempura Bowl arrived! The tempura had a nice crispy texture, but also a softness to the batter, and the sauce was just right, a flavor I really liked! It's nice that you can help yourself to the pickles on the table too! Personally, I was a bit surprised to hear that there was salmon tempura in it, but when I tried it, it was delicious! I thought it was a unique addition to tempura! Of course, the shrimp, shiitake mushrooms, squid, scallop, and green bean tempura were all tasty as well! Tempura bowls are something I crave from time to time, so when that happens, I'll definitely want to come back!

After returning from Miyako Island, for some reason I started craving tempura. The chicken and mushroom tempura was delicious. The egg was unnecessary, I don't want it even if it's free! The tempura here is served with a bowl of dipping sauce, which goes well with chicken but not with shrimp. It's a matter of preference. By the way, I experienced a typhoon in Miyako Island and now we are being hit by a typhoon here as well. I thought about evacuating to Osaka because I was so fed up. But luckily, it wasn't as bad as I thought. Chiba seems to be experiencing power outages due to being on the east side, but compared to Miyako, the wind is only about half as strong. While my friends are excited about going to Miyako Island in the midst of a typhoon, I'm still feeling tired. I think I'll take Friday off this week and rest.

While walking around the Kamata area of Keikyu, I stumbled upon a new restaurant called Tenya under the Keikyu railway tracks and decided to go in. The interior was clean and the seating was spacious. I ordered a tempura bowl and although it took a bit of time, a freshly made delicious tempura bowl was served. As I was enjoying my meal, someone familiar came out from the back of the restaurant - it was a staff member from the Nishi-Gotanda branch that closed in December. It was a pleasant surprise to meet again unexpectedly. There are many interesting shops in the Keikyu Kamata area, so I would like to come back again. Thank you for the meal.

I didn't really like tempura before, but I decided to give it a try after a long time. It was my first visit to the Keikyu Kamata branch. I chose the New Year Special Tempura Bowl for 980 yen! It had large shrimp, shrimp, snow crab, and lotus root. First, the shrimp was okay. Next, the snow crab was quite delicious! And the lotus root was proof that tempura can be as good as steamed dishes. Lastly, the large shrimp! Being a limited menu item, the taste of the shrimp was different and delicious. This is a tasty chain restaurant, isn't it? Depending on the ingredients, I realized that it can be a very delicious chain restaurant.

I just happened to see it in front of me at lunchtime, so I jumped in. It was my first time visiting this tempura restaurant. The freshly fried tempura bowl was delicious, and I was very satisfied with the crispy set meal!

Returning to Kamata Station on the Keikyu Line after leaving the main office, I happened to notice the words "Tenya Day" under the guard of the station. Since I had already eaten tonkatsu, tonkatsu, and ramen today, this would be my fourth meal. Well, I can still eat it though. After hesitating for a while in front of the store, I found myself inside before I knew it. It happens, right? I was guided to a counter seat and ordered the "Thank You Tendon" for 390 yen. It arrived in about 5 minutes. Starting with the shrimp tempura, everything was fried crispy and delicious this time! The squid, eggplant, lotus root, and okra were all fried crispy and tasted great. I drizzled some tempura sauce from the table onto it halfway through and enjoyed it until the end. It's nice that they give you a 100 yen discount coupon for a future visit on Tenya Day! Thank you for the meal ☆

I wanted to eat tendon, so I went to the Tenya Kamata branch after 3:00 PM and ordered the shrimp and anago tendon for 980 yen. I added shrimp, squid, anago, white fish, and green beans for an extra 250 yen, and it was delicious. The tempura was crispy and went well with the special sauce. Surprisingly, the soba was also tasty. Kamata seems to be a town with good cost performance, and I have to commute here for work for another six months, so I look forward to exploring this town further. Thank you for the meal!

After returning from a business trip, I was debating whether to have dinner at Haneda Airport, but I decided to move to Kamata Station on the Keikyu Line. I found a new restaurant near Kamata Station for dinner. I entered the restaurant alone around 8 p.m. and ordered a tempura set meal. The restaurant had a mix of group customers and individuals. The tempura was good, with tender squid and slightly small shrimp. However, I felt that there was a bit too little grated radish in the tempura sauce. Overall, I rated the restaurant as average since it is a chain restaurant.

I was planning to go to Menbaka-san that I visited the other day, but they don't open until 6:00 pm, so I had 30 minutes to spare. I was hesitating on what to do when I noticed the sign for "Tenya Day," so I decided to go to Tenya instead. It's good to change it up once in a while. When I entered the restaurant, it was crowded with people getting takeout and there was no one to guide me. About 70% of the seats were taken, but it wasn't chaotic. Since it was "Tenya Day," I ordered the 390 yen Tendon (Thank You Tendon). I added mushrooms because I like them (100 yen). The dish arrived in about 5 minutes. I started with the shrimp tempura. Hmm, it wasn't crispy and a bit soggy. It's not like the other stores. The shrimp tempura itself tasted good. There were also squid, eggplant, lotus root, and green beans in the bowl, and they all tasted delicious. I added some tempura sauce from the table and enjoyed the dish until the end. It was nice of them to give me a 100 yen discount coupon for a future visit on "Tenya Day"! Thank you for the meal☆

I felt like eating tendon for the first time in a while, so I came to eat. This shop seems to be new, and the inside was clean. It was almost full inside because it was lunchtime, but I was able to sit down right away. I ordered, but it took a little too long, maybe because there weren't enough staff. It was a bit concerning because some people might want to eat quickly and move on since it was lunchtime. The black mayonnaise chicken tempura bowl allows you to put mayonnaise on it yourself, so it's okay to put it on your favorite ingredients. The ingredients were two pieces of chicken, one lotus root, a few eggplants, and two green beans. I also added a poached egg and put mayonnaise on it, and it was delicious, maybe because the sauce was sweet. It was also good that the sauce coated the rice. I didn't go for the large portion this time, but the regular size was satisfying enough.

On June 3rd, I had mostly day shifts this month for some reason, which is perfect for having a drink (laughs). Well, the warning for drinking too much has been issued, so today is another day shift. I stopped by a tempura restaurant called Tenya in a new dining area under the Keikyu Kamata station. I started with a grapefruit shochu highball, which was surprisingly refreshing. I had a bite-sized octopus tempura set with white wine from Australia. The tempura was crispy and delicious, and the wine paired well with it. The tempura bowl I had for dinner was filled with ingredients like blackthroat seaperch, edamame, myoga, baby corn, shrimp, chikuwa, hake, and thread-sail filefish. The sauce was not too heavy, and it complemented the rice well. The miso soup was average. The restaurant seemed popular with female customers, and I heard they also have a seasonal menu item called Roast Beef Tempura Bowl with potato salad and Western-style wasabi. I wonder what that tastes like, it sounds like it could cause heartburn.
