There is also a counter, making it suitable for solo dining. It has a hidden gem vibe and a cozy, homey atmosphere that is really relaxing. They have a variety of drinks, making it an amazing place. Gozou Roppu in Sangenjaya is a small restaurant with seating up to the second floor. The salt seasoning on the skewers is just right and delicious, but the liver sashimi and simmered offal take the taste to another level! The soft texture of the liver sashimi is highly recommended! The meat p cheese, which I suddenly felt like eating, also goes well with the sweet sauce.

I visited the restaurant "Gozoro Kyu" in Sangenjaya and had their special dish, Motsu Nibitashi Bukkake Rice for 750 yen. The atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious. We tried various dishes including cold oden, salted hoya, miso cucumber, Motsu Nibitashi, and more. The portions were generous and the flavors were amazing. I highly recommend this place for a casual meal with friends or a date. Don't miss out on their Motsu Nibitashi Bukkake Rice, it's a must-try!

I met everyone for the first time at Hatsukuni Sancha-ya, and the scent of mosquito coils and the tatami mat flooring created such a pleasant atmosphere. The combination of kobukuro and pickled zasai is simply genius. The acidity and aroma of the zasai, combined with the unique texture of kobukuro, blend harmoniously. The bakurai dish, with its mix of flavors like rice god and something else, reminded me of Chanja. The miso cucumber had a crunchy texture and a miso flavor that would surely go well with sake. The simmered tripe was filled with large, bouncy pieces of tripe from various parts, not too rich but still perfect for pairing with alcohol. The sashimi was fresh and firm, but I particularly enjoyed the grilled ones. They were all delicious, but the fluffy texture and unique flavor of the grilled ones, combined with the savory sauce, made me a big fan.

The raw liver sashimi was so delicious that I ended up ordering it twice. The grilled meat was also delicious, of course. For the last dish, I ordered the Jajangmyeon, which was also delicious and highly recommended as a finishing touch. It's nice to see the friendly relationship between the staff and regular customers, but sometimes they may take a bit longer to come and take your order because they are engrossed in conversation.

The restaurant "Gozourokufu Kyu" has several branches in Sangenjaya, and I have visited a few of them. Each branch has a different concept, but they all have a wide selection of my favorite shochu, making it a series of restaurants that I really love. Among them, "Gozourokufu Kyu" stands out with its retro atmosphere, adorned with many posters on the walls, giving it a cozy izakaya vibe unique to Sangenjaya. Their specialty is motsu sashimi, which pairs perfectly with shochu! I flew to this place just for that combination. In conclusion, motsu sashimi with shochu is a winning combination! The carefully prepared sashimi and the variety of shochu were so amazing that I felt like I could keep coming back forever. I was worried about eating too much motsu sashimi alone and feeling sick, so I only had liver sashimi, but it was so delicious that I definitely want to try the assorted motsu sashimi next time. It was incredibly tender and had no unpleasant smell, a truly impressive taste. The strong-flavored shochu also complemented it perfectly. They also offer a wide selection of yakitori, which I tried a few but somehow forgot to take photos of. The salt seasoning brought out the natural flavors of the ingredients, with a slightly richer taste that paired excellently with alcohol. It took a bit of time for the dishes to come out, but they were cooked delicately and were incredibly delicious. The rest of the menu also had a lineup that would appeal to alcohol enthusiasts, and I was overwhelmed by the variety of dishes I wanted to try. The entrance has a counter, with a raised seating area at the back, and the main tables are on the second floor, making it a recommended spot even for solo diners. Despite its eclectic retro atmosphere typical of Sangenjaya, the restaurant serves meticulously crafted dishes that are sure to delight alcohol enthusiasts. I'm already looking forward to where I'll be drinking alone tomorrow! It is located a little off Chazawa Street. I visited after a long time, but it is still cheap and delicious. I ordered a half-size sashimi platter, which had a good amount and was very tasty. Next time, I would like to order a regular size.

I visited the restaurant on a weekday night after 8 pm. I didn't have a reservation, but luckily there was a seat available at the counter. The restaurant has counter and table seating on the first floor, as well as seating on the second floor. I noticed that it's easy for solo diners to come in and sit at the counter, where you can chat with the staff and other customers. The counter seats near the entrance can be a bit chilly, especially at the feet. I ordered miso cucumber, grilled offal, assorted offal sashimi, and stir-fried offal. The assorted offal sashimi was delicious, with no unpleasant smell and each piece was seasoned with a tasty sauce. The highlight was the stir-fried offal, which had a rich flavor and a nice texture. It was so good that I couldn't resist ordering rice to go with it. I wish they offered a lunch set with stir-fried offal, but it's perfect for enjoying with drinks on a night out.

Due to the coronavirus, many people are working from home these days. Marunouchi is empty. On the other hand, neighborhoods like Sangenjaya are crowded. We only had a 10,000 yen bill for the two of us, so we wanted to split it, but they said, "We don't do exchanges." What's up with that? We just wanted to split the bill!

I had been interested in this restaurant for a while, and this time I used it for a year-end party. The restaurant has a retro atmosphere, perhaps it was renovated from an old house, giving it a nostalgic feel. The menu had a wide variety of offal dishes. There was a phrase on the menu that made me trust the offal dishes more, so I decided to try the assorted raw offal. It did not disappoint. It was delicious. And the prices were reasonable. They also had a wide selection of shochu, which paired well with the food and drinks.

I was invited by a friend to a motsu-yaki (grilled offal) restaurant in Sangenjaya called "Gozouroku Hisa". It is located next to Pigalle, a craft beer hotspot in Sangenjaya. The draft beer they serve is Kirin Ichiban Shibori, very fresh with a fine foam. Delicious. The appetizer was simmered squid, tender and flavorful, I could just order this alone. While enjoying the beer, the must-try dish here is the "Assorted Motsu Sashimi", we ordered the 5 kinds platter this time. Eating this with beer is pure happiness. And of course, we also had the morning-shut Shibaura pork motsu charcoal-grilled skewers, we ordered the 5-piece set x2. This is a must-order... Apart from motsu sashimi and skewers, they also offer various a la carte dishes. The quail egg with strong seasoning called "Donguri", the smoked cheese with cream cheese, thick-cut ham katsu, and the edamame with a slightly strong seasoning. Shallots with miso sauce, the moderate spiciness is delicious. And the seared chashu, best eaten while warm... After 3 hours of solid drinking and eating, the bill came out to be 5000 yen, quite reasonable. I only had beer, but they also have sake and shochu. This is a really great restaurant. Come with an empty stomach. Highly recommended.

The first floor has a counter and small tables, but the second floor is spacious and nice! The grilled motsu and motsu sashimi were delicious, but I ordered too much and everything was pork, so I ended up with a stomachache. Lol
