It's always crowded whenever I go! The atmosphere is very nice. The prosciutto is delicious and goes well with alcohol! The pickles are also tasty, and the prices are quite reasonable!

A bar that I passed by many times but never entered. It looks like a bar from the outside, but inside, it's more like a bar. There's only one lady behind the counter, who is very laid-back and doesn't hassle you. The prices for food are very reasonable, ranging from 200 yen to 600 yen, tax included. The place has a good atmosphere, with a lot of regular customers in their 30s and 40s, mostly women. They offer a variety of homemade original cocktails for 500 yen, which seem to be popular with the female customers. I tried the draft beer for 460 yen and the chicken molno for 400 yen, which is a Spanish dish made with herbs and spices. It was quite spicy but went well with the beer. I also had a second drink, sweet potato shochu for 500 yen, served in a small cup. The portions were generous for the price. The pumpkin and cream cheese salad for 200 yen was also good, a pumpkin version of potato salad with a creamy texture. The name of the bar, "mas," means "more" in Spanish, reflecting their aim to be a higher-level Spanish bar.

In May 2016, I visited a restaurant called "mas" located two doors down on the right side of the supermarket Komodi Iida, after walking through the shopping street from the south exit of Hirai Station in Tokyo. I was recommended to try their homemade lemon liquor, which I found refreshing and smooth. I also ordered Spanish chorizo and cod roe salad as snacks, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lively, with about 10 seats at the counter. The friendly and attentive female owner managed the place alone. I had a great time and definitely plan to visit again.
