As soon as I exited the ticket gate at Tsuruhashi Station in Osaka, I found a yakiniku restaurant right in front of me. It had been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants in 2020-21. I had heard they offered hand-pulled cold noodles for lunch, so I was curious to try it. Despite the timing being a bit off, I asked if they still had the lunch menu available, and the staff's response was very polite and pleasant. I decided to go in right away. I had originally planned to just order the small cold noodles, but as I looked at the menu, I couldn't resist and ended up ordering salted tongue, harami, and upper mino as well. While waiting, I was served some cabbage as a complimentary dish. The harami had a sweet sauce that was not overpowering, and it paired very well. The mino had a miso sauce that was unique in both color and flavor. I wonder if they used starch syrup in it? Finally, the highly anticipated cold noodles arrived. The noodles were transparent and very beautiful, with a good chewy texture. The soup was light and mild in flavor, but it had a rich taste that made it satisfying. The orange on top was an interesting touch. The prices were reasonable, and the restaurant's appearance and customer service were both well-maintained. The rating at the time of my visit was 3.49, but considering it was previously selected as one of the top 100 restaurants, the rating must have been much higher before. It's unclear why the rating dropped, but the restaurant certainly lived up to the expectation of being a former top 100 restaurant.

I used it for lunch. There was also a yakiniku set meal, but today I chose the yukgaejang soup set meal. It comes with yukgaejang, 3 daily side dishes, and rice. The yukgaejang was not too spicy and had meat in it, so it was satisfying. At the end, pineapple was served as a service. It is recommended because it is close to the station, cheap, and delicious.

After a long time, I visited a restaurant in Tsuruhashi because my sons wanted to eat meat. We ordered salted tongue, premium belly, loin, and skirt steak. The loin was thick and juicy, and the salted tongue, kalbi, and skirt steak were delicious as well. As expected in the fiercely competitive world of yakiniku in Tsuruhashi, this time too, we had a delicious meal without any disappointments. To finish off, my younger son had cold noodles, which I tried a bite of. It had a texture like a rubber band, which wasn't really to my taste, but the flavor was good. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived around 12 o'clock on Wednesday without a reservation, but I was seated in a private room on the third floor without having to wait. I ordered a la carte instead of a lunch set, and the premium sirloin and premium skirt steak were very tender and delicious. The tongue was also tender and tasty.

We visited the restaurant with 3 family members. We ordered salted tongue, harami, red meat, hormone dishes, etc. We also had beer, highballs, lemon shochu highballs, etc. We ordered soup and bibimbap as well. The total came to 12,000 yen. I think it was quite cost-effective. My wife doesn't like fatty meat, so we focused on red meat, which was tender and delicious.

It's a great lunch deal. I visited to fuel up before the Yodogawa Fireworks Festival. We ordered the Premium Yakiniku Lunch and Yakiniku B to share between two people. With a coupon from Tabelog, we got a free draft beer, making it a super affordable and luxurious lunch. The quality of the meat is outstanding, so I recommend the Premium option. It really gets you excited! ^_^

Located in Tennoji Ward, Osaka City, "Yakiniku Hakundai Tsuruhashi Ekimae" is a popular yakiniku restaurant right in front of Tsuruhashi Station, with easy access from JR Loop Line, Kintetsu Osaka Line, and Nara Line's west exit, as well as a 1-minute walk from Exit 7 of Osaka Metro's Sen-Nichimae Line. The restaurant exudes a true Tsuruhashi yakiniku vibe and is a great place to enjoy a meal in a stylish and spacious setting. The lunch menu offers a variety of set meals ranging from "Christeak Set" (¥2600) to "Golden Kalbi Set" (¥1200). I opted for the "Premium Yakiniku Set" (¥2580) which includes premium quality meats like "Premium Bone-in Kalbi" and "Premium Belly," along with three types of namul, sangchu, kimchi, rice, and wakame soup. The quality of the meat was outstanding, and the price was definitely worth it. The meat was flavorful and tender, complemented by a slightly tangy and sweet yakiniku sauce. The combination of meat, spicy kimchi, rice wrapped in sangchu leaves was a luxurious treat. The dessert of pineapple and hojicha tea for drink were also delightful. Lunchtime in Osaka. I decided to have yakiniku in Tsuruhashi, so I chose "Hakuundai" from the many yakiniku restaurants. The reason was that it was only a 1-minute walk from the station. It was located right in front of the Tsuruhashi station gate. The table seats on the 1st floor were full, so I was led to the tatami room on the 3rd floor. It felt like a semi-private room, and there were no other customers there. I ordered the "Golden Kalbi Set" for 1200 yen, which came with 3 types of namul, lettuce, kimchi, rice, and wakame soup. The meat was served in a tower-like arrangement. Truly the best cost performance in this fiercely competitive yakiniku area of Tsuruhashi! Feeling good, I also ordered the premium kalbi and more. I ate too much and ended up with a stomachache, but I have no regrets because the meat was delicious (laughs).

This is my second visit in 10 years. It is located a 1-minute walk from JR Tsuruhashi Station. It might be a good idea to make a reservation before going. The special sirloin, top hanger steak, top tongue, striped neck, liver, cold noodles, top selection crispy steak, all are tender and flavorful. The sauce for the striped neck is quite sweet. Since trying raw intestine here for the first time, I have come to love it ❤️ I think it is cheaper and tastier than Jyuban-en.

The review was good, and it was easy to meet in front of the west exits of both JR and Kintetsu, so I visited for lunch with a friend who lives in Osaka as a preview for a meal with friends coming from Mie and Nara prefectures. I had the thick-cut Harami set meal with a medium-sized draft beer. You can choose from large, medium, or small rice portions. The Harami was thick and we cut it with scissors while grilling, then wrapped it in lettuce with Kochujang sauce. The meat was not too fatty and had a good texture. The sauce was slightly sweet and light, making it easy to eat. We only had a small amount of Kochujang on a small plate (but they said we could ask for more if needed). The vegetable side dishes were lightly seasoned to complement the meat, including two types of vegetables and kimchi. The kimchi was delicious. Although we were a little hungry and the portion was slightly small, we decided to end the meal as we had plans for the next place. The fresh pineapple slices served after the meal were sweet and tasty. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made me feel comfortable inviting my friends, so I made a reservation for the next meal right away. On my second visit with four people, we had salted tongue, Harami, Mino, premium grilled meat assortment, Kakuteki kimchi, and draft beer. They didn't have domestically produced Harami, so we had to choose between premium and foreign-produced, and we chose the latter because it was said to be lighter. However, it was a bit tougher than the other meats and had a slightly different taste, possibly because we knew it was foreign-produced. But the delicious sauce made up for it. We also had lettuce wraps, but at 500 yen for 5-6 pieces per serving, it felt a bit expensive, but maybe that's just the way things are these days... I'm sorry, I forgot to take a picture of the meat, I'll make sure to do it on my next visit!

It's a good deal to get soup, rice, and namul for 1200 yen in front of the station. The Golden Kalbi has a satisfying portion size but was a bit too strong in flavor. The unique tangy sauce paired well with the fatty meat, making it refreshing to eat. The Harami was tender with a rich flavor, so I recommend choosing thick slices over thin ones.

I went after 1 pm. I had the thick-cut harami set meal for 1380 yen, a draft beer for 520 yen, a large bottle of beer for 620 yen, and a hormone set for 1200 yen. The large bottle of beer was cheap for a yakiniku restaurant, which made me happy. Last time it was full and I couldn't get in, so I'm glad it was empty today. As expected, it was incredibly delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant for a yakiniku lunch. I chose the harami (skirt steak) option. I was surprised by the generous amount of meat that came out for 1380 yen. It was about 3 thick slices of meat that were so big and thick that they were hard to eat without cutting them with scissors! The taste was also very delicious, truly living up to its reputation as a top restaurant. I would love to go back for dinner next time.

First time visiting Tsuruhashi for Akasen, gyutan, and thick-cut harami. Since it's a yakiniku town, let's have some yakiniku. We ordered two lunch sets together and also some horumon. It was great to have them cut with scissors for the two of us. Which one is better, I wonder? I want to try both. And the thick-cut harami was really thick! Not just three pieces, but one big piece with a good balance of chewiness and tenderness. The kimchi was delicious too, with a rounded flavor. The gyutan with salt was also thick, and tasted great with a squeeze of lemon. I particularly liked the Akasen, a type of horumon that was just right in terms of texture, not too soft or too tough. I didn't know about this place before, I usually stick to the Umeda area, but now I realize it's a waste not to explore more during my stay.

It has been 12 years since my last post, but I have been visiting various places to eat. This time, my wife chose a restaurant because she heard that Enbeha no Yu had been renovated. We arrived at 11:30 and there was no wait. We were seated at a table on the first floor and ordered our lunch. It took about 8 minutes for our food to be served. We ordered the Yakiniku Set B for 1530 yen. It was a bit small, with 2 pieces of bone-in kalbi and 2 slices of sirloin. The meat was cooked well and had a delicious aroma, but it seemed like lower quality lunch meat. It was a bit tough and seemed cheap, but for the price, I can't complain.

Second daughter who came back home wanted to go to Tsuruhashi for yakiniku. We came here again. - Yakiniku set B - Thick-cut harami set - Beef tongue cubes - Draft beer I wonder if the drink free campaign from the last Instagram post has ended. Apparently, on Mondays, drinks are half off. Even though she said she wanted to eat yakiniku, she quickly said she was full. Annoying. Thank you for the meal. I'll buy the usual steamed pork, pig's trotters, pork jowl pancake, and kimbap on the way home.

The shop right in front of Tsuruhashi Station caught my eye. I ordered the Yakiniku Set Meal B. There was a notice on the table about getting a free drink by following them on Instagram, and I received a beer. The hot hojicha tea and towel were a nice touch. The set meal was luxurious and filled the table with: bone-in kalbi, sirloin, namul (Korean seasoned vegetables), lettuce, kimchi, rice, wakame soup, pineapple, and draft beer. It had been a while since I had bone-in kalbi, and the meat around the bone was delicious. I was happy when they brought out pineapple after I finished eating. I am always satisfied with the same harami lunch at a local restaurant, but it's nice to try other places once in a while. Next time, I want to try their shirako soup. Thank you for the delicious meal.

We visited during lunchtime. Initially, we ordered the thick-cut bacon set and the salted tongue set for two people, and then added on a special thick-cut harami, thick-cut salted tongue, kimchi, and kakuteki. Since it was a Monday, we were lucky to enjoy half-priced draft beer, shochu, and highballs. Overall, the meat was delicious, but the last item we ordered, the thick-cut salted tongue, was a bit disappointing for its price. It's worth coming here for lunch.

Located right in front of JR Osaka Loop Line's Tsuruhashi Station, my wife, daughter, and I visited Tsuruhashi in Osaka's Koreatown. As soon as we got off the train, we were greeted by the smell of grilled meat, as if all the exhaust vents were facing the platform. Despite it being a holiday, most of the popular yakiniku restaurants were open for business. Luckily, we were able to get a table at Shiraundai right in front of the station. I ordered the Thick-cut Harami Set Lunch for 1350 yen, which came with a large piece of thick-cut harami meat that required scissors to cut. It also came with plenty of side dishes at this price point. Additionally, if you follow the restaurant on social media, you get a complimentary drink! You can choose from draft beer, highball, or shochu highball, which was much appreciated. It was a great value lunch set! Today's orders included the Thick-cut Harami Set Lunch, Bibimbap Set Lunch, and Kalbi Soup Set Lunch.
