I went to the late-night dining at Sangenjaya. It opened at 10:00 PM! They offer home-cooked dishes and rice sets that can be turned into a meal set, so I had the Kinmedai (golden eye snapper) sun-dried pork ginger stir-fry, fried chicken, and rice set (drink the dashi, then add miso). The rice was fluffy and delicious. All the side dishes were tasty. It's also convenient to use as a hearty dinner at the first place.

We dropped in around 3 o'clock the next day and there were only two of us! It was rare to see the place so crowded on a weekday, with only one other group besides us! The owner, Mama, was running the place all by herself! Let's be mindful of the timing when placing orders~! - Appetizer: Refreshing pickled dish with a hint of acidity - Spring rolls - Cod roe potato salad - Regular curry - Homemade fried chicken - Set meal The vintage wall menu added a nostalgic atmosphere that made us feel relaxed! The fried chicken was delicious as always. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, a must-order! Two men came in next to us and ordered some hearty dishes that looked really good! They had a hamburger with a sunny-side-up egg on top, maybe a secret menu item? I'll try that next time. The miso soup for flavor change was also delicious and comforting! This week, I haven't been able to catch the last train even once, as I found an amazing late-night dining spot in Sangenjaya. It's a small restaurant with about 9 seats, located near Delta on the 246 side. They have been in business for 17 years. The restaurant opens from 10 pm. I visited twice in the past week and I'm already hooked. The bottled beer they serve is a small black label. The food is so delicious that the beer is just an accompaniment. Here are some of the dishes I tried: - Lotus root tempura for 420 yen: Crispy and sweet lotus root with a great batter. - Special miso-glazed pork for 650 yen: The miso sauce is incredibly tasty. The coleslaw with shiso dressing and the pork glazed with special miso sauce are a perfect combination. - Dried sea bream for 1,380 yen: A must-try dish here. The sea bream was fatty and had an amazing aroma of good fat. - Egg rice set for 600 yen: This made me want to become a regular. It includes sesame rice, miso soup, egg, and pickles. You can choose from 5 types of miso for the soup and 3 types of soy sauce for the egg rice. The late-night dining spot is amazing with such attention to detail in their seasoning. I'm grateful that I found this place on foot. It seems like there are many stories here, from casual conversations between couples to sweet and sour romantic talks. Before 10:30 pm on a regular day, there were no customers in the store. There were about four tables. The lemon sour was sour. The complimentary dish was ponzu? Lemon? The pork miso soup was delicious. The fried chicken and rice set had crispy fried chicken. There were various types of miso to add to the miso soup.

I had been curious about this restaurant that was introduced in Terrace House Tokyo. The egg over rice that I was looking forward to went down so smoothly that I finished it in no time. They have three types of soy sauce so you can choose your preferred richness. I started with light soy sauce and added a couple of drops of dark soy sauce towards the end. The miso soup was also really delicious. You can choose from 5 different types of miso, which was also great. It had a comforting taste that made me want to keep drinking it.

Late-night eatery "Osaka" located in the Sangenjaya triangle area that opens from night. They offer bento boxes for takeout. The intestinal fermentation bento box from Osaka diner is priced at 1550 yen, as well as the ginger grilled bento box. The bento boxes come with a wooden bento sheet and a colored lunch mat. Each bento box is carefully crafted with various high-quality ingredients, giving a homemade feel and a sense of vitality. The flavors are comforting and the bonito dashi soup can be made into miso soup with a choice of miso (Haccho miso or Osaka's homemade miso of the day). Everything was delicious and had a sense of dedication. The restaurant is open from 22:00 and also serves early morning breakfast.

Once again, I went on a Terrace House pilgrimage. It was nice. The atmosphere was great. Shohei and Kaori sat by the wall here. It was moving. I had to wait for over an hour because there are only 12 seats and they are all occupied by women. Finally, I got in. I had egg over rice and suimono (clear soup). You mix five types of miso into the suimono yourself. The egg and miso were average. They open at 10 pm and serve in a way that makes the food taste better. Of course, egg over rice in the middle of the night would taste good! It was interesting! Thank you very much.

In the Sangenjaya Triangle area, many people who are drinking here also end their night here. This shop opens late at night and closes by midday! The food is actually delicious enough to want to eat for lunch, but they close just as lunchtime approaches haha. That's probably the charm of this place ^_^ The grilled fish set meal is tasty, but personally, the curry rice here is outstanding! People who visit after drinking are probably those who have been drinking around this area. It's a small shop, so unless your timing is right, you won't be able to get in. Ossu ossu!

On this particular night, we arrived at a diner at 3 am. The place had a few tables left, and despite the presence of customers, it was surprisingly quiet. It seemed like the kind of place that preferred a calm atmosphere. The diner was run by a single mama, and you had to wait for your food at her pace. It wasn't that the service was slow, but more like the overall vibe of the place made you understand that this diner was well-loved. An interesting item on the menu was labeled as "Ordinary Curry". Just by choosing this dish, you could get a sense of the diner's unique style. In a full house like that night, ordering a complex dish might result in a longer wait, so the "Ordinary Curry" seemed like a safe bet. Another fun option was the TKG with dokudami eggs. This was an entertaining experience where you got to choose the miso paste for your egg and mix it yourself. It was a hit and brought a lot of excitement to the table. The diner also served breakfast from 5 am, and we were told it gets quite busy during that time.

An oasis of late-night dining in the triangle area of Sangenjaya, run by a friendly female owner. From izakaya dishes to a wide variety of set meals, you can find anything you want to eat here. We ended up here after a night of hopping around Sangenjaya. I had been wanting to visit this place, so even though I wasn't very hungry, I ordered a set meal around 11 PM. I saw a few other customers also enjoying their set meals at that late hour. I had miso cucumber and salt koji grilled chicken as snacks, along with a few drinks. It was a cozy and welcoming place.

A popular way to finish a night of drinking in Sangenjaya is with the classic combination of tamago kake gohan and sumashijiru. You can enjoy it with five types of miso and three types of soy sauce to pour over. Despite it being morning, the place was packed. It was being run by a single woman.

San-cha, which opens from midnight, is a well-known eatery. After drinking, many drinkers feel the need to eat something. Options like ramen, soba, gyudon are available. However, veterans prefer to consider nutrition even for their late-night meal. San-cha offers a wide variety of fish set meals even at this late hour. The fact that you can have a proper meal at this time itself holds value. That's why people keep coming back to San-cha late at night. What they order here is mostly just regular curry. Having curry as a finishing meal is not ideal, but for some reason, they crave a simple curry. Plus, curry is served quickly.

It was a delicious and carefully made bento that made me want to visit the restaurant.

I visited in the early morning. I was able to get in easily because the previous customer had already paid, but after that, I couldn't get in at all. It seems that they do not serve set meals when there is a lot of dishes to wash. The dried fish was delicious, so I want to go back, but I haven't been able to get in no matter how many times I try, so I'm staying away.
