It's been a while since I visited Kisoji. Lately, it's always crowded and you often need a reservation to get in. Since it's the season, I had the Matsutake lunch set. It included sashimi, small dishes, tempura, hot pot, steamed egg custard, Matsutake rice, and steamed dish in a pot - all Matsutake-themed. I ended the meal with delicious ice cream for dessert.

Visited for a child's celebration meal. Reserved a private room which was convenient for the occasion. Opted for the reasonable 6,000 yen course. The grilled ayu fish was a bit too salty. The portion size was more than enough. The sesame sauce for the shabu-shabu lacked the usual sweetness of sesame dressing, but had a strong sesame flavor and was delicious.

By the time the sun had set on that day, it had gotten really cold, so I couldn't help but go in to warm up. I wanted to warm up with a hot pot. This place is a nationwide chain of shabu-shabu, right? I heard from my subordinate that when they have a family celebration, they often go there. As for me, I think this was my first visit, around 6 pm, I went in alone. The restaurant was quite busy, but I was seated right away! They also have sukiyaki and steak, which is nice. For the shabu-shabu, there were about 6 different premium courses depending on the meat. It's a tough choice, but I went with the shabu-shabu. I have sukiyaki at home anyway. Since it was a course, I took my time. But there was quite a lot, so I only had 2 beers. Even then, I was full. I couldn't finish the multigrain rice. Three years ago, I would have added more meat, but this time I couldn't. The staff were all really great, and it was a pleasant dinner. The women were in kimonos, and the men wore bow ties! It's nice. Even the female staff who came out to see us off at the time of payment, despite the cold weather, said, "Please take care as it's cold." Thank you♪ I would like to visit again. They are working hard, so please go and try it out.

- Today, after attending the Hoonko service for Shinran Shonin at Motoyoshi Temple in Omori, I had lunch at Kisoji. - I ordered the "Sashimi Set Meal" for 1980 yen, which I had heard was both a good deal and luxurious from a friend. - Wow! The presentation, volume, and beauty of the meal made me very happy. - You can choose between white rice and 16-grain rice, and the meal comes with sashimi, tempura, chawanmushi, pickles, grated yam, simmered dish, and miso soup, so I was very full. - The sashimi included squid, tuna, scallop, and sea bream. - For dessert, I chose chestnut ice cream from the three options (vanilla, matcha, chestnut), and it was a great choice! The finely chopped chestnut mixed in was delicious. - I haven't had sukiyaki or shabu-shabu recently, but next time I'll go for a hearty meat dish.

On this day of the weekend, I went on a wine-buying expedition with a friend to "Yamaya" at Oimachi Station East Exit. For lunch, we visited a nearby shabu-shabu and Japanese cuisine restaurant. This chain has over 120 stores nationwide, but I had only thought of it as a slightly upscale family restaurant, so this was my first time using it. We arrived at the restaurant, which had just reopened on July 4th, a bit late around 2 pm. We checked in on the first floor and were seated at a table in the spacious second floor. The interior of the restaurant had a more upscale and calming atmosphere than I had expected. The lunch menu prices were also more expensive than I thought, with the mid-range lunch set prices around 3000 yen. It was a bit pricey without alcohol. Since we couldn't go elsewhere at this point, I ordered the most affordable "Kiso" lunch set for 1500 yen. It included chilled beef shabu-shabu and Inaniwa udon. After waiting for about 10 minutes, more than 10 small and large plates were placed on the table. The set included chilled beef shabu-shabu, Inaniwa udon, sesame sauce, udon dipping sauce, condiments, tuna with grated yam, cold simmered vegetables, tempura, rice (white or mixed grain), miso soup, and pickles. I was surprised that everything was well-prepared for this price range. The warm dishes were served hot, and the cold dishes were kept cold. The overall balance was good. The main dish of chilled beef shabu-shabu was cooked in hot water and then immediately cooled in cold water, resulting in two beautiful pink slices. It may not be wagyu beef at this price, but it was flavorful enough. I would like to try making it at home sometime. The portion size, including the mango jelly served at the end, was satisfying. I underestimated it as a high-end family restaurant. The service was also a world of difference compared to other similar restaurants.

Visited the restaurant for my father's birthday. My father loves fugu, and he is the only one in the family who enjoys it. I wanted to treat him to his favorite fugu, so I chose this place. I inquired if it was okay for us to order different courses than the set menu, and they said it was fine. We had a semi-private room with a bit of space in the ceiling, so we could hear the voices from the neighboring table quite clearly (which was a bit awkward). Additionally, there was a 10% charge for the private room. We ordered the full course fugu meal and a seasonal kaiseki meal, along with some a la carte dishes. The appetizer served in an orange bowl was made with dried enoki mushrooms, which was surprisingly delicious. The enoki mushrooms are known for their high nutritional value, and I was impressed by the taste. The black beans were also just the right amount of sweetness, which I personally enjoyed. The sashimi platter, deep-fried sakura shrimp, and seasonal dishes were all fantastic. The sakura shrimp tempura was crispy and flavorful. We also ordered some edamame, fugu tempura, wagyu beef, and other dishes, which were all very tasty. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. The only downside was that they had mentioned taking a birthday photo as a gift, but it didn't happen (probably my fault for forgetting). Overall, it was a great dining experience.

We visited the restaurant with three companions right at the start of dinner time at 5 PM. We ordered the seasonal course menu "Suisen" for 4,400 yen, along with a glass of wine priced at 660 yen per person, making it a total of 5,060 yen per person. The course consisted of 10 dishes including appetizers, sashimi, simmered dish, individual hot pot (beef and mushroom), tempura, rice, miso soup, pickles, and dessert (yuzu sherbet). The individual hot pot was a highlight, and each dish showed great attention to detail. We enjoy the attentive service and cozy atmosphere, and often visit for lunch as well. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I went to this restaurant for my child's first meal ceremony the other day. I was a little worried because it was my first time with an infant, but the staff were very accommodating. We reserved a private room and ordered the special first meal dish for the baby and a shabu-shabu for two adults. The baby's first meal dish was 2700 yen and even came with a photo shoot and a fish head. It looked beautiful and cute, and the staff explained the meaning behind each item. The taste was excellent, and we even got to take the fish home. We were very satisfied. The shabu-shabu was also amazing! Even though we were with a baby, we were able to enjoy our meal in the private room. We took turns holding the baby, and the staff even provided a temporary bed for the baby to lie down on. We were able to play and change the baby there, in addition to enjoying the delicious food. The overall service was excellent. Our first dinner with just the baby and my husband went smoothly. It was a very nice memory.

Therefore, even if born overseas, if raised in Japan for a long time, it can be labeled as domestic beef. Perhaps, this labeling is also the same at supermarkets. The sukiyaki at Kisoji has a rich broth, likely a Kansai-style where seasonings are added directly to the meat while cooking, rather than using a broth. Mix in beaten egg to dilute the flavor and enjoy. Thick kishimen noodles are hidden under the meat, which is surprising. The pickles complement the dish well, making it satisfying even without rice. You can feel the attention to detail in the ingredients.

Daikoku store was my first time, and it was surprisingly crowded even on a weekday. I thought it might be near Ito Yokado. My friend had made a reservation in advance, so we were able to get in smoothly without waiting. When it comes to Kisoji, is it sukiyaki or shabu-shabu? I was torn. There was also a Hokkaido Fair with seafood, and I wanted to try sashimi too. After about 10 minutes of indecision (laughs), I went with the sukiyaki set. The meat was delicious as expected! The flavor soaked in so well, I really liked it! There was even udon in the sukiyaki, such a generous portion. The vegetables were also flavorful and paired perfectly with the rice. I was able to eat to my heart's content and relax.

After getting drunk on sake and snacks, I stumbled upon this restaurant on the way to Oimori Station. I was so drunk that I only took a picture of the matsutake mushrooms and forgot to capture the main shabu-shabu dish. However, the sesame sauce with garlic and dried chives was delicious as expected, and the shabu-shabu was amazing. They even offered a refill of the sauce after it ran out, and the service was great. Although there is an all-you-can-eat course at the Imeike store in Nagoya, I may still end up visiting Kisoji in Tokyo occasionally.

I visited for lunch again. I had the domestic beef sukiyaki course, which was delicious. I also tried the seasonal assorted sushi, grilled Japanese beef, and blowfish shirako. The sushi was amazing. The grilled Japanese beef was served with wasabi and a special sauce. The blowfish shirako was crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, very tasty! Just be careful not to burn yourself. The short-haired waitress was as attentive and hospitable as always. It's a luxury to indulge in such a meal for lunch. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Yesterday, the profile displayed on the home screen of Tabelog changed to Kanagawa Prefecture, in their early 50s. It's so quick to be updated. Yes, yesterday was my birthday. I turned 50. The sound of 50 is something. So, I celebrated with some meat. I had my usual pork sukiyaki set (extra meat) and pork shabu-shabu. I also tried the limited-time menu item, steamed Japanese clams with sake. For dessert, I had Miyazaki mango anmitsu. The waiter at my table was different from the usual one, which was a bit disappointing. The meat was consistently delicious. The steamed Japanese clams were plump and tasty. I had beer, Ballantine, wine, and more, totaling just over 10,000 yen. Thank you for the meal.

Shabu-shabu, a major chain of Japanese cuisine. It's been so long since my last visit that I can't remember the date. I arrived just before lunch at 11:45, and by 12 o'clock it was packed with customers, mostly in their 60s and older. I ordered the lunch set "Tsumago" for 2160 yen. I chose the lemon hot pot as my main dish, which came with sashimi, grilled dish, fried dish, steamed egg custard, multigrain rice, soup, pickles, and dessert. It was a great value for the price, and all the dishes had a gentle and easy-to-eat flavor. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm and relaxing, even though it was full, allowing me to enjoy my meal slowly. I was able to have a meeting after the meal, and everything was done in a timely manner within an hour. It was a fulfilling lunch. Thank you for the meal.

We had a family meal as a congratulatory gift. We had reserved the Fugu set meal for 3500 yen in advance, which was a good deal. The portion size was not that big, but for the price, we couldn't complain. The taste was average. The service staff seemed a bit inexperienced and not very efficient. However, we enjoyed the meal in a private room and had a good time chatting. The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk from both Keikyu Oimori Station and JR Oimori Station. Overall, we were satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

I visit the Omori area several times a year. I always go for lunch. Beer, beer! But they only have Super Dry... I wonder why they don't have Ebisu. Domestic beef loin shabu-shabu for 2916 yen. Domestic beef loin sukiyaki set meal for 2160 yen. Shabu-shabu is cooked at the table in a pot. In the first photo, the staff is doing the shabu-shabu (laughs). The loin meat is better than marbled meat at my age. Sukiyaki set meal is already cooked. Sukiyaki is great because you can drink sake, eat rice, and enjoy it. Chita Highball Single for 756 yen. Double for 1512 yen. Fried tiger puffer fish for 1404 yen. I like puffer fish cooked rather than raw. The crispy and fluffy fried puffer fish is the best snack. Butter-grilled simmered abalone for 1728 yen. It is steamed at the table using solid fuel. It's good that it includes the liver. I forgot to take a photo, but the shabu-shabu course ends with ramen made with the soup from the shabu-shabu pot's meat and vegetables. It's quite delicious. Add a little salt and pepper. The service was wonderful today as well. Thank you for the meal. The last photo is a standing soba shop inside Higashi-Kanagawa Station. It's crowded at the station soba shop after 12 o'clock. It smelled really good (laughs).

Visited for the last tea party in June 2018. It has been two and a half years since my partner took on the project due to a job change. The project overcame various difficulties and was successfully completed in November of last year. Initially, the young lady had even considered resigning, but I encouraged her and we made it through together. We started calling our lunch meetings "tea parties" instead of something formal, and we would eat delicious food, vent our frustrations, and take a break together until we finally achieved our goal. Since we had done a lot during paid time off, I used the excuse of giving a souvenir to have this last tea party. We had been fighting together, just the two of us, so it felt like we were comrades. My final encouragement, a luxurious lunch! I can't remember the name of the course, but it was a ¥3,000 course with a seasonal dessert. The seasonal dessert was my favorite, but this time it was a bit disappointing compared to the incredibly delicious Shine Muscat I had in September last year. The courses were served little by little, including sashimi, tempura, and meat, but it might have been better if the menu was more focused on one luxurious item like meat or tempura. With my partner leaving and then myself leaving, who will provide the emotional support for the young lady now? I have removed the burden and responsibility of work from her, so I hope she can get through without struggling. I will also strive in a new environment. Grateful for the hard work of the young lady so far!

I went to lunch with my son and his wife. I chose the Petit Kaiseki meal at Tsumago (2000 yen). I was a little disappointed because the menu photo showed meat in the pot, but it turned out to be Kiritampo hot pot. The sashimi was delicious though.

I had a Matsuhana-do bento without any particular features. I used it for a farewell party at work. The menu felt suitable for a business meal. Each dish was moderately ordinary. Thank you for the meal.
