I visited during the day. The restaurant has many counter seats, making it easy for solo diners. I was seated right away. I ordered the peperoncino. The noodles were chewy and delicious, but the flavor was just average. It wasn't bad, but it didn't make me think it was super delicious. I often go to Sasazuka, so I might go back again, but I probably won't order the same dish. Italian food is tricky, isn't it?

Pasta restaurant located on the first floor of Frente Sasazuka, along the Keio Line at Sasazuka Station. There are also shops in Shinjuku and other locations. It is located opposite the station at Frente Sasazuka, so you need to go around to get there. I visited for a late lunch around 4 pm on a day off. The interior of the restaurant has many counter seats. You order using a touch panel, and it seems that some restaurants have ticket machines. I had previously tried a tomato-based pasta, so this time I decided to go with carbonara. The pasta portion is normally 150g, but I opted for the free large portion of 200g. Carbonara with plenty of fluffy cheese from Hokkaido for 1,090 yen. There were a few other customers, and the dish was served without waiting for about 10 minutes. The dish is served on a large plate, and I immediately tried it. The white sauce is thin but creamy and rich. It doesn't mix much with the noodles, so I ate it with a spoon. It is topped with large pieces of bacon and a substantial amount of grated cheese. The flavor is rich, and the portion size as a large serving was just right. For payment, you can use PayPay, QR code payment, electronic money, and credit cards.

First time at this restaurant. I ordered the second most popular carbonara dish. The noodles were chewy and delicious. However, even with the large portion, the amount was small and I felt unsatisfied. Considering the price, taste, and portion size, I can't help but feel that it's a bit overpriced. Looks like they can't beat Robin around here.

This is a cozy restaurant with a casual atmosphere. The fresh pasta made with Hokkaido wheat and eggs is chewy and delicious. They offer free extra servings, which I took advantage of. Located right near Sasazuka Station, but a bit hidden behind a building. This pasta specialty shop uses Hokkaido wheat and eggs for their homemade noodles. The pasta with shrimp, mushrooms, and cod roe that I ordered was delicious. The shrimp and mushrooms were cooked just right. The cod roe from Hokkaido's Funka Bay was also tasty. The only side dishes available were salad and focaccia, keeping it simple. While it may not be worth taking the train specifically to visit, I would definitely return if it were closer. Second visit. I originally planned to go to a different restaurant, but it started raining, so I ended up revisiting this place (close to the station!). Even though it was past 1 o'clock, more than half of the seats were already taken. It feels like they are slowly but surely winning over the locals' stomachs. Last time I had the tarako pasta. This time, I tried the ultimate peperoncino pasta (¥980). It was made with fresh pasta, so it was chewy and had a good texture. I usually tend to swallow my food without chewing much, but this time I made sure to chew properly and savor the flavors. Despite being an oil-based dish, it didn't feel greasy, so I could enjoy it without feeling guilty. Adding the coarse ground black pepper on the table allowed for a nice flavor variation. I wish they had drink or salad sets available, that would make me even happier. As I left the restaurant this time, I once again thought the same thing. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a restaurant that uses plenty of Hokkaido ingredients in their pasta dishes, located in the commercial facility "Sasazuka Fronte" directly connected to Keio Line Sasazuka Station. They offer a variety of pasta menus including 3 types of tomato-based, 3 types of oil-based, 2 types of cream-based, 2 types of taraco-based, 2 types of meat-based, and 2 other types. I ordered the "Homemade Hokkaido Keema-style Spicy Meat Sauce (with Tokachi 60 enzyme egg)" and a "Sapporo Classic Beer," which is not often seen in Tokyo. I noticed that the pasta uses several types of spices when it was served, and as instructed by the staff, I mixed it well more than 30 times. The rich aroma and the deliciousness of the meat were evident. The fresh pasta they use has a nice chewy texture. This restaurant, which offers authentic pasta with a focus on ingredients, is a valuable place to enjoy quality pasta easily. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the meal.

Carbonara jumbo size for 1,080 yen, egg and chicken ham salad for 250 yen, iced coffee for 280 yen, totaling 1,610 yen for lunch on a Saturday. There was a line, but the restaurant was not full. The pasta was chewy and satisfying, with a rich sauce and a generous amount of shaved cheese adding to the richness. It lacked a bit of saltiness, making it a bit boring towards the end. Maybe a tomato sauce would have been better. The 250 yen salad was excellent. It's a bit unusual that they don't offer hot drinks, but it shows a certain business mindset, or rather, operational attitude. Overall, the restaurant had more of a Japanese-style Hashiya flavor than traditional Italian.

The name of the restaurant is loud, but I decided to try their Carbonara for 1,080 yen. The noodles were fresh, so the dish was served quickly. However, the taste was disappointing. It lacked the expected creamy texture and the black pepper was barely sprinkled. The saltiness was also very subtle. It wasn't terrible, but it was quite underwhelming. I wonder what they are trying to achieve with their elaborate description other than the actual taste of the food.

The most popular pasta is the one with oil sauce and mixed with egg, and I also ordered a refreshing pasta with grated ponzu sauce. The dishes were generous with ingredients like chicken, bacon, and spinach, and the fact that you can get a free large portion for any dish is a great service for those who want to eat a lot. I would like to try the tomato sauce and carbonara next time.

This is a pasta restaurant from Hokkaido, with the second location in Tokyo following the one in Kichijoji. While Kichijoji operates on a ticket system, Sasazuka uses an order system. A great restaurant that exceeded expectations in a positive way. I happened to enter during a time when many places were closed between lunch and dinner, and was in need of a proper meal (not just tea and snacks). I was drawn to the "fresh pasta" and decided to give it a try. The entrance menu and the layout with many counters gave off a casual family restaurant vibe, but upon closer inspection, the tables were clean and well-organized, with disposable aprons provided to prevent pasta sauce from splattering on clothes, which I found impressive. The menu wasn't extensive, but it offered a good variety, and there was a list where you could add extra eggs, cheese, garlic, etc. for an additional charge, which was interesting. I went with a friend and ordered the limited-time soup pasta and carbonara with extra pasta (at no extra charge) each, and both dishes were surprisingly delicious for their price range. I enjoy fresh pasta often, but the texture was slightly different than expected - it was less chewy and more slippery than I'm used to. However, it paired well with the sauce and was very tasty. I was surprised to see the restaurant had a low score on Tabelog (Japanese restaurant review site) - it deserves more recognition. I would definitely consider going back if given the chance.

The ingredients are also well seasoned, and the shrimp was delicious. I would be happy if they had more menu options. Also, it would be great to have drink sets available too.

I have been to the Kichijoji store before, but this was my first time at the Sasazuka store. The interior was clean and the service was attentive. I ordered the limited-time menu item "Hokkaido Lake Saroma oyster and farmer's bacon in cream sauce." The noodles were delicious and paired perfectly with the cream sauce and oysters.

This is my second review. I am in my 40s and my hobbies include cooking and exploring different restaurants. Although I mainly post about ramen on Tabelog, I actually visit various types of restaurants. The reason I focus on ramen restaurants in my reviews is because I always feel that ramen shops make the least profit considering the effort they put in. As for this particular restaurant, or rather, my opinion on pasta restaurants in general, I understand the careful selection of ingredients and the effort put into preparation, as well as the free extra servings, but I honestly find it slightly expensive. If the actual price was 200 yen lower, they might attract more customers... My friend and I discussed this on our way back. The taste is great, so I hope they continue to do well in Sasazuka, where there are many affordable and delicious restaurants, including three Cantina outlets.
