I've always wanted to go someday, and finally the day has come!! I don't know what to say, the recommended dish by the staff was spot on, the green peppers are delicious!! They go perfectly with the meat. Eating them together is the best way to enjoy it here!! I couldn't stop eating. The combination of the meat's quality, the richness of the fat, and the sweetness of the sauce is mesmerizing. It's addictive. The green peppers really complement it well! I ate too much. And the smoke inside the restaurant was incredibly strong...

This was my first time trying yakiniku at Donikai, even though I have been there many times before. The cost performance is amazing! The quality of the meat was great, and everything was so delicious. I highly recommend everyone to go and try it out!

Yakiniku is here! I have been here many times. The reservation list is posted in front of the restaurant from 3:30 pm. If you don't make a reservation, you'll have to wait in line. You can enjoy cooking yakiniku on a charcoal grill. The premium kalbi is served one plate per person and the quality meat is affordable. The premium tongue is served one plate per group, but it feels a bit thin and unsatisfying. The loin pork with onion sauce is refreshing and goes well together. The beef tendon with ponzu sauce is very cheap and delicious. The bibimbap with namul and kimchi is cheaper than ordering kimchi, namul, and rice separately. There are other delicious meat restaurants, but I think this place has the best taste and cost performance.

Really disappointing... The taste is delicious and it's one of the top sukiyaki restaurants in Fukuoka, but the reservation phone call was unfriendly, they only accept cash payments which is inconvenient. The second floor has no staff, so you have to keep calling and complaining multiple times before they provide normal service. I hope they can make a comeback after reading this review.

Visited the restaurant with my subordinate. We wanted to eat sukiyaki, so when I called, they said to come in 30 minutes. When we arrived, we were immediately taken to the 2nd floor. The 1st floor, where they serve yakiniku, was extremely crowded with a long line, and surprisingly, only about 10% of the customers were Japanese. There were more Chinese and Korean customers. It seems that you cannot make reservations for the yakiniku on the 1st floor. I'm glad we weren't in the mood for yakiniku today. The sukiyaki was made with domestically produced black wagyu beef. The quality of the meat was top-notch and melted in your mouth! We initially thought one serving wouldn't be enough, so we added another serving of domestic black wagyu beef, domestic wagyu beef, vegetable set, and an egg. We compared the taste of the domestic black wagyu beef and domestic wagyu beef. The domestic wagyu beef was about 60% of the price of the black wagyu beef, but it was still delicious. However, when we tried the black wagyu beef afterwards, the tenderness was incomparable! We enjoyed a delicious sukiyaki! Will definitely visit again.

I have always wanted to try Tago-san, but since reservations are not accepted, we had to line up. We arrived before 5:30 aiming for yakiniku, but the line was already long. In the end, we couldn't get a table at the yakiniku restaurant on the first floor. We ended up having sukiyaki, which was priced at 2980 yen and included Saga beef. It was a great deal. The sukiyaki was also delicious. Next time, I'll come back for the yakiniku.

Fukuoka's best value for money when it comes to yakiniku is none other than The Mokumoku Yakiniku x Sake! The atmosphere is amazing with delicious food and drinks. Here are the details: [Store Overview] Located about 5 minutes from Hakata Station, this restaurant is always crowded and popular! They used to have around 4 branches in Fukuoka, but now they have 2 branches near Hakata Station due to reasons like COVID. The first floor serves yakiniku, while the second floor offers sukiyaki and shabu-shabu. Reservations are only available for the second floor, so for yakiniku, you have to walk in. I went on a Friday, 10 minutes before opening, and I was the 13th group in line. I thought I would have to wait a long time, but there were plenty of seats, so I got in within 10-15 minutes! If you go on a weekday, you might not have to wait much after the opening time. About half of the customers are foreigners, and they even check passports. They have foreign language menus as well, providing great support. When I went in the summer, the wet towels were frozen, which was awesome. The atmosphere is very lively, and the tables have fans to help with the heat. The charcoal is prepared well before serving, which is a big plus! [Food] Since I went alone, I ordered three types of meat. Special Select Upper Kalbi (tax included 869 yen), Special Select Upper Loin (tax included 869 yen), and Upper Tongue (tax included 1078 yen). The Special Select Upper Kalbi is one serving per person, and the Upper Tongue is one serving per group. The dipping sauce was amazing, with a rich fruit-based flavor that goes well with any meat. It was addictive! Next, the meat. The Upper Tongue had about 7 slices, but they were thin and roughly cut, with a lot of middle part included despite being labeled as "upper." It might not be necessary to order this for the price. The Special Select Kalbi and Special Select Loin had around 5 slices for a little over 800 yen, which is a great deal! However, they were very fatty! It seems like a plate for 4 people would be just right. It's nice to be able to dine alone, but it would be even better if they had half portions available. I would like to try the regular Loin next time!

When it comes to yakiniku restaurants in Fukuoka, Tago is the best! The meat is high quality and the sauce is delicious! The beer and rice go down smoothly too! When you come here, just focus on the meat and skip the grilled vegetables. Even my mother in her 60s was very satisfied with the kalbi and loin. This time, we finished with bibimbap, which had plenty of vegetable namul on top instead of being served in a hot stone pot. It was delicious, especially when eaten with the grilled meat. Next time, I'll order it from the start.

This time, I went to a sukiyaki restaurant called "Taugu" that requires reservations in advance. The quality of the meat was really good and delicious, and the vegetables were also fresh. I think they must be using a good broth for the sukiyaki. I wish the atmosphere had a bit more of a private room feel, but overall, I was very satisfied. It was a bit pricey, so I may not be able to go frequently, haha.

I visited on May 31st. The first floor was for yakiniku (grilled meat), and the second floor was for sukiyaki. I usually go to the yakiniku restaurant in Takeshita, so it was my first time here, but it was really great! The meat was so tender! The staff kindly cooked it for us when they had a moment. (They mentioned that due to the pandemic, the system had changed to customers cooking their own food.) We added chicken meat and finished with udon noodles, making us very full! They mentioned that the number of customers might decrease as it gets hotter, but enjoying warm food in a cool room was the best! Next time, I want to come back to try the shabu-shabu! As I left the restaurant, I saw people waiting in line for yakiniku on the first floor. The second floor was empty! I felt like telling them about it.

I went to Yakiniku Tago in the walking distance from Hakata Station Chikushi Exit. I had been curious about it for a while, but since I couldn't make a reservation, I hadn't had the chance to go. This time, I visited for the first time around 9 o'clock. There were more than 5 groups waiting in front. Most of them were tourists from Korea or China. I regretted not going to the Takeshita store and prepared to wait for over 30 minutes. After waiting for quite some time, we were seated. We were told that we could only order one serving of the special kalbi per person, so my girlfriend and I ordered two servings. We also ordered the top loin and top tongue. Unfortunately, they were out of harami. The taste of all the dishes was exquisite and the prices were not high at all. I felt the cost performance that was written in many reviews was fully justified. The sauce was also delicious, and I felt like I could eat it forever. I plan to visit the Takeshita store next time.

Monthly routine business trip to Hakata. Lately, I've been running out of new places to visit and it's becoming routine. Also, due to the pandemic, popular restaurants are crowded with tourists from both domestic and overseas. This time, a Hakata local friend recommended Manyugyu's sukiyaki and treated us to a meal there for the first time. We had made a reservation in advance, and were seated on the second floor for sukiyaki. We arrived early, so there were no other customers yet, but we were told it was fully booked with reservations. The sukiyaki was surprisingly affordable and of high quality, with delicious meat that I didn't expect to find in Hakata. Everything we ate was delicious! I don't want to tell anyone about this kind of restaurant, but I was really surprised. Next time, I want to enjoy their yakiniku. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at the restaurant after 5 pm and there were already about 10 names written on the board. When waiting in front of the restaurant, be careful not to wait in front of the building next door! You might get scolded by the restaurant staff! Also, even if it's your turn, you can't go inside until everyone in your group is present, so be careful! I was getting anxious about not being able to get in on the first round, but I was called in at the very end! When I entered the restaurant, the tables that were called before us already had meat delivered and the feast had begun. You can only order the premium kalbi and tongue once, so be sure to order them first! Meat kept coming to our table one after another. The premium kalbi was like a steak and was amazing! It seems there is a time limit of 1.5 hours, but you can enjoy it fully in about 1 hour! Even if you can't get in on the first round, they turn over in about an hour, so don't give up! I want to go again♪ Next time, I want to try the sukiyaki♫

I couldn't make a reservation, so I often saw people lining up, but recently I was able to get in around 18:30 without waiting. My friend and I ordered one drink each, along with kalbi, loin, pork belly, and kimchi, rice, which came to about 7600 yen. The quality was good and the price was quite reasonable. We were very full and the meat was delicious with a good portion size. We were able to finish everything, although it was a bit challenging towards the end. The meat was fatty so we couldn't eat too much, but it was tasty. However, the restaurant was surprisingly smoky, with the interior filled with smoke. Our clothes definitely picked up the smell. While I don't like having the smell stick to me, it did give off a traditional BBQ restaurant vibe, which I didn't mind. Also, whether they were foreigners or Japanese, the staff lacked energy, which was kind of funny. Overall, it didn't bother me too much.

I had the opportunity to visit the famous yakiniku restaurant Taugu, which I used to frequent since my student days. It had been about 10 years since I last visited. They had a special offer where you could only order as much kalbi as the number of people in your group. The restaurant was filled with smoke and the floor was a bit slippery, which is part of the charm of this place! However, this time, the first drink took over 20 minutes to arrive and even after several requests, it still didn't come. I didn't get angry, but waiting for 20 minutes was a bit too much! And when the beer finally arrived, it was lukewarm. Maybe this is to be expected at Taugu, known for its cost-effectiveness. The yakiniku was delicious, especially with the garlic-infused sauce. It was addictive! I will visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal!

Before the pandemic, there were always long lines of Asian and Japanese people in this area. The ramen shops here always have long lines too. On this day, there was a moderate wait at Higashi-Hie, while it seemed easy to go to Takeshita and Hakata Station. We chose Hakata Station. They grill meat on a charcoal grill. The smokiness level is Takeshita > Hakata Station > Higashi-Hie. Even when it's smoky, it's incredibly delicious, right? Good quality meat is easy to recognize, right? It gets you excited. The fruity sauce is delicious. They also have a menu where you eat pork with a sauce of green onions and sesame oil, which was also delicious. They only accept cash. There is parking available next door.

I visited the "Yakiniku Tagyu Ekiminami" located in Hakata Ekiminami, Hakata Ward. I ordered the following items: - Premium tongue - Premium kalbi - Premium loin - Wagyu thinly sliced loin - Premium tripe - Large rice They do not accept reservations over the phone, and there is usually a long line, but due to the decrease in overseas customers because of COVID-19, I was able to enter without waiting. (Normally, they accept reservations in front of the store from 3 pm, where you write your name. Then, they start seating from 5:30 pm in the order of reservations.) The inside of the restaurant was still smoky as usual! They provide you with a bag to store your jacket. The air conditioning was not very effective, so each table had a hand fan (laughs). The premium kalbi is only available for the first order and cannot be added later. As you can see, it has a lot of marbling, and it is tender and delicious, with a sweetness and umami that overflow the more you chew! The premium loin has just the right amount of marbling, and the juicy umami that overflows as you chew is irresistible! The thinly sliced loin that I ordered for comparison is delicious when grilled quickly as is, but when wrapped with the accompanying onions, it has a light and delicious taste that is also wonderful! The large rice was finished in no time! Thank you for the meal (´∀`)

It's been even hotter since August began, and on top of that, there was a wait of almost an hour because reservations weren't available. I regret not choosing a place where I could have made a reservation. Finally getting in, I found the inside of the restaurant to be stuffy, possibly due to the old building not having effective air conditioning. It was too hot with the BBQ grill right in front of us. They gave us ice packs to cool down, haha. The meat, as everyone says, was good value for money, but it might be tough to handle in midsummer. Most of the staff were foreigners, with only one Japanese staff member. I could see that they were doing their best. I understand that it must be tough during the pandemic, but please consider rebuilding the building! *It's been a while since I left such a long comment.

As soon as I arrived at the restaurant, I could tell it was popular - I had to wait for about an hour, even though I was fifth in line! I ordered the premium tongue, premium kalbi, premium loin, thick-cut sagari, and a large serving of rice. The prices here are really cheap! And the quality of the meat is quite good too! The premium tongue, premium kalbi, and sagari were all incredibly delicious! The large serving of rice filled me up nicely! I also had a cola, and the total bill came out to only 4,300 yen per person. The cost performance is really great for this quality of meat! It's no wonder there's always a line. It was so delicious! I felt like eating yakiniku and visited a famous restaurant after a long time. Fukuoka has many delicious restaurants even at night. This time, I went to Yakiniku Tagyu, a restaurant I visited for the first time, based on a recommendation from a friend. Seriously, it was delicious! I didn't expect it to be this good. Truly deserving of being a top restaurant. I will definitely go back again!
