I made a reservation on a food review site two weeks ago at this extremely popular restaurant. Unfortunately, they were out of their famous squid sashimi today. I ordered the "Otoko-chou Mori" (men's chef's selection), foie gras chawanmushi, fried eggplant in broth, and seared mackerel and pickled mustard greens rice in a clay pot. The appetizers included sweet sake, smoked bonito, kanamono sprouts, pumpkin salad, white grape jelly, okra sashimi, and octopus with plum dressing. The "Otoko-chou Mori" included red snapper, octopus, sandfish, blackthroat seaperch, whale tail, sesame mackerel, amberjack, tuna, bonito, and horse mackerel sashimi. The freshness of the sashimi was outstanding and incredibly delicious, especially the sesame mackerel, amberjack, and sandfish. The foie gras chawanmushi was addictive, and the fried eggplant in broth was tasty, but the seared mackerel and pickled mustard greens rice was exceptionally delicious. The flavors were great, and the portion was generous, so I left completely satisfied. The sake was also delicious, and I had a wonderful time in a fantastic atmosphere. This is a must-visit restaurant that I would definitely take my friends to when they visit. Thank you for the meal!
