Total order amount 5,559 yen. There was a TV show where big celebrities and comedians were saying "Delicious! Delicious!" so I decided to go to a restaurant I hadn't been to in a long time. The first time I tried Torikizoku, it was interesting and I thought it was decently tasty. But trying it again, the taste was just okay and disappointing. The Tori Kamameshi rice was cooked right in front of me, but it took a long time and the taste was not impressive. Among the dishes I tried, the Camembert croquettes and Cream Soda Chu-Hi were delicious. I really liked the Cream Soda Chu-Hi and had two glasses! All-you-can-eat cabbage (* ˊᗜˋ *) The selling point, grilled chicken and Tori Kamameshi, were disappointing. ( ´- ̯-` )

"Torikizoku" is a yakitori restaurant where everything is priced at 327 yen including tax. Among the chain stores in this genre, it might be my favorite in a subtle way. This time, I visited the "Torikizoku Oji Store" located on the 3rd floor of a mixed-use building near JR Oji Station in Kita-ku, Tokyo. The interior of the store is cozy and comfortable, even for solo diners, although there are no counter seats. I ordered two drinks and four appetizers, totaling 1,962 yen after tax. Being able to enjoy alcohol while considering expenses is one of the strengths of "Torikizoku." I ordered Cassis Milk, Green Tea Highball, Sunazuri (gizzard), Gyukushi (beef skewer), Momokizoku Yaki Shio (grilled chicken thigh with salt), and Toriten (chicken tempura with plum sauce). Although they are all priced the same, the value for money varies slightly with each item. In terms of volume, Momokizoku Yaki had the most, followed by Sunazuri and Gyukushi, and overall, I was quite satisfied. However, the Gyukushi was also delicious, so ordering what you like is probably the best choice. The grilling was done well, with the meat cooked through. The short wait time and attention to detail in cooking the meat were also impressive."

Grilled chicken skewers are delicious and highly recommended at Torikizoku.

After a company drinking party, around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, I got off at Oji Station with a colleague without any particular plans. When we went out to the station front, we found a Torikizoku restaurant. The restaurant was about 30-40% full. We ordered using a touch panel. Once we confirmed our order on the touch panel, the drinks and dishes arrived in about 30 seconds to 1 minute. So fast! The notable thing about this place is the cheap drinks. A glass of draft beer (The Premium Malt's) was only 350 yen (tax included), and a highball was also 350 yen (tax included). We each had 3 drinks and ordered 3 dishes (salted cucumber, edamame, and seasoned boiled egg), but the bill was only 3150 yen. Really? Torikizoku is amazing. Thanks for the meal. We got completely drunk haha.

On this day, Prince invited a cooperating business partner for a meeting over drinks. It was a rare occasion, and we decided to go out for drinks and discussions. I used to work at my uncle's import goods store in Ogu when I was in high school, and I also used to visit the area frequently when I lived in Oku for 10 years, so this city holds many memories for me. The three of us went to Torikizoku for drinks and food, focusing on cost-performance. It is my policy not to let my business partners pay when we go out for drinks, so I covered the bill this time as well. We ate and drank as much as we wanted, and the total came to 6,644 yen for the three of us. It's still cheap, and although the taste is decent, it's not bad.

I went to Torikizoku Prince store where everything, including food and drinks, is only 280 yen (excluding tax)~♪ First, cheers♪ Both draft beer (The Premium Malt's) and ginger ale are 280 yen. It's a great deal for beer drinkers. I chose the edamame from the speed menu. Since Torikizoku doesn't serve appetizers, I chose a quick dish to start with. The heart (tare) is very tender and delicious. The thigh meat (tare) is also very large, with green onions in between. The meat is well cooked, tender, and the sauce is just right. The chicken wings (salt) may not look clear in the photo, but the bones are cut and two bones stick out at the back. It's a clever idea for easy eating, right? The chicken wings are also delicious with the right amount of salt. I went on October 1st, and it seems that the menu had changed as there were several new items added. So, I tried some new items. The stick chicken salad is like a stick chicken style, but without cucumbers (laughs). There are large chunks of chicken on top. The amount of corn is amazing. The tofu also has a good volume, so it feels like a good deal. The chicken and shiso roll tempura comes with a Kishu plum sauce. The sauce is sweet and sour, more like jam than sauce. Personally, I like this plum sauce♪ The chicken was tender and tastier than expected. The special chicken dumpling soup seems to be a winter limited menu. The bowl is large, with plenty of chicken dumplings, which gives a good value, but the soup is a bit thin, lacking richness... The chicken dumplings also lacked flavor, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, if you consider the price, the taste is decent, so I think I would go again. It cost 3,020 yen for two people. It's a good value. I visited on a Wednesday and it was full of office workers. Perhaps it's popular because it's cheap and has decent taste?

I went to Torikizoku, which recently went public, by myself. It was around 11 pm, but the restaurant was still about 70% full. It had been about two years since I last visited Torikizoku, and I noticed that the menu had changed drastically. It had a mix of traditional izakaya dishes along with Chinese and Western cuisine, which was quite interesting. And considering that everything was priced at 280 yen, it definitely felt like an improvement from before. However, the chicken skewers were a bit dry from being overcooked, the seasoning was inconsistent, and the portion size seemed to compensate for the quality. I hope they can make some improvements in these areas. The pudding had a nostalgic taste and was simply delicious.

The drinks are cheap, but the food is not great. The yakitori was overcooked and tough. It seems like they use a mix of salt and artificial seasoning for the seasoning, which gives it an unnatural taste. I heard that a high-end steak restaurant in Shinbashi does the same thing, but they manage to hide it well. They should reduce the amount of seasoning. I also visited their sister restaurant before going to the main one, and the cooking was better there. The staff are probably just part-timers, so it's understandable.

My son loves yakitori, so we often visit yakitori restaurants around Oji. This time we went to Torikizoku. I was surprised when I entered because the prices were so cheap! But the yakitori was jumbo-sized. I doubted the taste at such a low price, but I was amazed when I tried it. It was very delicious. And the portions were large. Also, the alcohol was very affordable, which was great for my family who loves drinking. I was satisfied with every yakitori I tried. I might end up going back again.

I used to go to a shop in Ikebukuro, but they opened a branch in familiar Oji, so I went there on the first weekend after the opening. Since it's a chain store, the taste is unquestionable! Grilled chicken thighs, liver, neck, heart, skin, potatoes, cabbage... The taste was exactly the same as in Ikebukuro, so I was relieved. The drink service was also quick. It's the perfect place for drinking cheaply! The floor seemed to be centered around a man who appeared to be the manager, keeping an eye on everything. However, most of the staff seemed to be newbies... Waitress, please don't take away the glass that's not empty yet, haha. [Revisit] In early October, I visited the store around 11 pm. I used to go there about once or twice a month, so I thought it would be okay, but... This store is completely useless without the manager. - They don't notice when customers arrive. - They seat customers at tables that haven't been set. - They don't bring ashtrays when asked. - The floor staff doesn't know when items are out of stock. - After finishing work, the part-time staff chat around the counter. - When giving change, they scatter the coins in your hand. From now on, I will leave if the manager is not there.
