The harami was amazing! I thought there might be limited options since there were few choices, but I ended up getting seconds of the harami. It seems like the restaurant is run by a motherly figure, giving off a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's recommended to visit on weekdays as it can get crowded on weekends.

The triangle district is popular among young people and tourists. Recently, more stylish shops have opened up, but I still think Tenraku is the best. The tongue, the tripe, and the hormone are all amazing. They are well-seasoned and go great with drinks. And in the summer, the liver is irresistible. The restaurant is tiny, but I love coming here for quick yakiniku on the gas grill while drinking at a snack bar. This is the etiquette of this town. Yakiniku must be cooked on a gas grill! This should be taught in junior high. Also, I've always been curious about this, but isn't the sign here violating the road occupancy permit? Well, it feels like a private road and the rights are all messed up, so anything goes here.

The restaurant is run by a single mother, but the food comes out at a good speed which is impressive. The meat is not cheap, but it is delicious. It has a nice redness to it. If it were a bit cheaper, I would come back. After that, quite a few customers came in. It had a hidden gem feel to it, like a hidden BBQ place.

At-home yakiniku in the triangle zone. The interior is a one-room space with only 2 table seats and 4 counter seats. Visited with a same-day reservation on a weekday evening. Ordered salted tongue (1,300 yen) and harami (1,500 yen). The simplicity of the menu and the friendly service from the mother figure were nice. The seasoning overall is peppery and goes well with drinks. The tongue is a cut you don't see at other places. It seems like a good option when you want to enjoy affordable and quick yakiniku.

A straight-up delicious yakiniku restaurant. The simple menu is great. The seasoning is so tasty that it's perfect with both alcohol and rice. Today, I had tongue, tripe, and skirt steak, and all were satisfying. Thank you for the meal!!

Located in the "Sankaku Chitai" area of Sangenjaya, the yakiniku restaurant "Tenraku" stands out with its yellow sign and red letters that read "Yakiniku Horumon Ryouri" (grilled meat and offal dishes). The narrow alleyways of Sankaku Chitai are fun to walk through, even if you're not familiar with Sangenjaya. Inside Tenraku, you'll be surprised by how small it is, with tables in the front and back, and a counter on the right side. If more than 10 people come in, it will be full. The menu is extremely simple, with only five categories: "Appetizers," "Grilled dishes," "Finishing dishes," "Alcohol," and "Soft drinks." Start with a toast with beer, then try the Namul and Chanja appetizers. Don't miss the "Salted Tongue" from the grilled dishes, as well as the Harami and Liver. The Namul and Chanja are delicious, but the Salted Tongue is exceptional. It's not thick, but packed with flavor. The Liver is also recommended, especially when seared on the surface. Enjoying delicious meat dish after dish will surely put you in a happy mood, with the Harami also being a must-try. If you're looking to enjoy meat in Sangenjaya, this restaurant is a must-visit spot.

Yakiniku restaurant in Sangenjaya Sankaku Chitai, a must-visit for yakiniku lovers in Tokyo. Today's order: Harami, Mino, Hormone, Namul, and Chanja for two people, totaling 6700 yen. When you open the door to the restaurant, you'll find that all seats are tatami-style, with a cozy atmosphere suitable for about 12 people. The friendly staff, possibly due to the close distance, or the kind-hearted mothers, provided excellent service. The meat was marinated with both sauce and salt, ready to be enjoyed as is! The Mino had a slight fatty texture rather than being chewy. The must-try dish is the "Chanja" here! The seasoning in the Chanja is slightly different, with a rich and unique flavor. It was so delicious that I wanted to take some Chanja home with me! This restaurant is located in the Sangenjaya Sankaku Chitai area. There are other restaurants I would like to try, so I definitely want to visit again! I recommend visiting with a group of four or fewer. For all yakiniku lovers, a must-visit spot in Sangenjaya, "Tenraku." Located in the quiet triangle area of Sangenjaya, the deep yakiniku restaurant "Tenraku" can be found with its yellow sign. On this particular day, we decided to visit without a reservation and were welcomed warmly by the owner who said, "If you're okay with sitting at the counter, we have space available!" After taking off our shoes at the tiny entrance, we were seated at the counter. The restaurant consists of two 4-person tables and two 2-person counters. The shelves were filled with various bottles of Kimchi. Since we were planning to eat lightly that day, we ordered some Chanja, Namul, and a few grilled items. We started with the Chanja, and the seasoning here was absolutely to my liking – I could eat bowls of rice with just this dish alone. Of course, the grilled items were delicious too, especially the hormone dishes which I personally enjoyed. It seems like they also host private parties, so it was lucky that we could visit without a reservation. When you visit, consider giving them a call beforehand – and of course, feel free to drop by on a whim. Thank you for the delicious meal~ 【Shop Details】 - Name: Tenraku - Address: 2-13-9 Sangenjaya, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo - Price Range: ¥3,000~ #TokyoGourmet #TokyoDinner #SetagayaGourmet #SetagayaDinner #SangenjayaGourmet #SangenjayaDinner #Sangenjaya #TeriyakiFeaturedShop #Yakiniku #YakinikuLovers #MeatLoversUnite #Foodie #FoodieGram #GourmetLovers #GourmetMen #Meat #LocalSpot #Harami #Hormone #Chanja #FoodiesUnite #DeliciousFood #Tenraku

Located in the Sangenjaya Triangle area, this small restaurant has a limited number of seats but is run by a friendly hostess. The menu is small, but the harami (skirt steak) and liver were especially delicious. It's a great place to casually drop by for some yakiniku (grilled meat).

Today, I went on a bar hopping adventure in Sangenjaya with my local friend ON. We both are on a diet, so we decided to focus on "meat" and avoid "carbohydrates" during our outing. We explored the deep zone known as the "Triangle Area" in Sangenjaya. Our first stop was a place called "Tenraku," which specializes in horumon (offal) grilling. The exterior of the restaurant was quite mysterious, and entering required some courage. Once inside, we were surprised to find a traditional tatami seating area, which was unexpected for a horumon restaurant. We started with a toast, and I ordered a draft beer. The menu was simple, with a focus on horumon. We ordered namul, salted tongue, harami, liver, and horumon. The horumon looked fresh and vibrant, and we couldn't help but admire its quality. We grilled the meat on the tabletop gas stove, starting with the salted tongue, which was delicious. The thick-cut liver was next, cooked rare to retain its juicy texture. It reminded me of the old days when liver could be enjoyed raw. We switched to shochu highballs as we continued to grill the horumon and harami, savoring the high-quality ingredients. The friendly service at Tenraku made us feel warm and fuzzy, like being at a girls' bar. With our appetites satisfied and our spirits lifted, we moved on to the second stop. The total bill came to 7,900 yen. Tenraku is highly recommended for horumon grilling in Sangenjaya.

Located in Sangenjaya's San'ya Delta, this chaotic area houses a yakiniku restaurant with a seemingly long history. As soon as they opened, I entered the establishment. With only two table seats and the rest being counter seating, it felt like someone's home. The menu is very simple, fitting on a single sheet of paper, with options for both meat and drinks. I ordered a bottle of makgeolli for 1700 yen and started sipping on it while munching on some kimchi. The makgeolli had a strong acidity to it. I started with the salted tongue, which was flavorful and had a nice elasticity. Next, I tried the harami, which was tender and fresh, very delicious! The hormone was average. The smokey atmosphere from the roaster brought back nostalgic feelings. I ordered another serving of harami and called it a night. During the short time we were there, there were a few walk-in customers (although they were turned away) and several reservation calls. It seems like a very popular spot. I will definitely be back. Keep up the good work and stay healthy!

On June 16, 2016, I went to a yakiniku restaurant called "Tengaku" in Sangenjaya, Setagaya-ku. I have been there more than 5 times but less than 10 times. The owner is an elderly lady from Wakayama Prefecture. The restaurant is located in the triangular area of Sangenjaya, making it easy to get lost. When you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of old row houses, with table seats and a counter. *Table: 4 seats x 2 *Counter: 4 seats You need to take off your shoes as soon as you enter. The interior of the restaurant is old but well-maintained, giving off a Showa era vibe. The menu includes: *Beef tongue *Horumon (offal) *Liver *Tripe *Skirt steak Drinks: *Draft beer x4 Since the owner is an elderly lady, it's best to place your order all at once as she may forget if you order multiple times. If you try to order additional items, touch the gas valve, or cook the meat to your liking, you might get scolded. Prolonged stays are not allowed. She often forgets to cook white rice. Despite these warnings, it's a great restaurant. The elderly lady may be forgetful, but if you keep talking to her, she will quickly catch up, making the experience smooth. The red meat and offal are fresh, and I believe the cost performance is excellent.

This day, as a Sangenjaya navigator, I received the theme of "providing a fun Sangenjaya nightlife scene." A few Sangenjaya beginners and foodies visited the restaurant "Tengaku." The result was overwhelmingly delicious, the atmosphere of the restaurant was great, and we even asked the landlady to take a photo! It was a lively first stop with great food and conversations. The lineup we ate that day is probably worth keeping a record of, so I will list it here: - Tongue (so delicious that we doubted if it was really tongue!) - Hormone (the mother kindly removed the fat, allowing us to enjoy the flavor of the meat) - Harami (the flavor was truly amazing, leaving us all speechless) - Liver (exquisite, that's the only word for it) - Namul (the flavor was so well-infused, it was really delicious) That's all.

The yakiniku restaurant "Tenraku" in the Sangenjaya area serves sweet liver, healthy motsu, and ends with a delicious tongue. The reason I could never visit this restaurant, despite knowing it was always there, was because it closes early. On this day, I made a reservation to enter by 9:00 PM and thought it might be the last time I visit. The restaurant only has 2 seats, and is run by 2 women, which is why it closes early. But that's all there is to it. The meat here is incredibly delicious and the portions are generous. The motsu is prepped to remove excess fat, allowing you to fully enjoy its flavor. The liver is sweet and thick, simply delicious. And the tongue! When you think of tongue, you might imagine a round shape. Even if it's thickly sliced. But the tongue here challenges that concept. It's served in a similar style to harami or kalbi, completely changing the way you eat tongue. It's not about thinly slicing or facing off against thick cuts, but rather enjoying the tongue as a yakiniku meat. I realized that this way of preparing tongue might actually be the most delicious.

Rarely went to Sancha (^_^) A legendary old yakiniku restaurant run by an 83-year-old grandma! The atmosphere is like a time slip with a small TV, vintage roaster, and well-used cushions. The menu is limited, focusing on horumon (offal). Everything is delicious, but the liver was outstanding (^_^) You can't go wrong with a place that serves delicious liver! The seasoning is great and goes well with alcohol! I don't usually drink makgeolli, but I couldn't resist ordering it because of the taste and atmosphere (laughs) It seems to be a well-known restaurant frequented by many celebrities! Thank you for the meal!
