I arrived around 18:50 on a Monday, just in time before closing. I ordered the "Cobblestones of Hakata" for 550 yen (including tax). It was much larger than I expected. It's a popular cake with five layers of chocolate sponge, cream, vanilla sponge, and chocolate mousse. The chocolate flavor was rich but not too heavy, melting quickly in my mouth. I finished it in no time. There is also a store at Hakata Station. I think this is a must-try dessert. Thank you for the meal.

It came in a cup instead of a cone, and I was able to enjoy it at a table in the back of the store. I was grateful to the staff. The ice cream had lots of nuts and a bitter taste from cocoa powder, but the gentle flavor of the chocolate made it delicious.

I thought it was just a regular sweets shop, but it turned out to be a lovely chocolate shop selling cakes and chocolates. The photo shows a single piece of chocolate I ordered, and the alcohol-infused ones are highly recommended!

I visited a castle town and tried the local specialty, Hakata Fuwari, at a shop. I bought one piece of Fuwari cheese and a box of 18 Ishitatami caramels as a souvenir, paying 3456 yen with a card. When I got home and tried them, the Fuwari was completely crushed, but it was soft and delicious as the name suggests. The Ishitatami caramels were also tasty with a sweet caramel flavor.

They were selling chocolate roses at a hidden shop... Is this shop famous for being the best in Kyushu for chocolate? I'm not sure if it's really amazing or not, but I chose cranberry... I paid 291 yen with a card... Maybe I'll go back to the inn. When I tried it at the inn, it was crispy, sweet, and sour, and delicious.

I traveled by bicycle and it was hot! I decided to get this fresh chocolate soft serve ice cream. I paid 594 yen with a card and was told I could eat it on the sofa in the back. The ice cream was served in about 2 minutes. It was not too rich, but just right and delicious! I cooled down and decided to check out the other stores in the back. After visiting all the stores in Fukuoka, I gave the Chocolate Shop Main Store and Jack Ohori Store the highest rating of 3.7 points.

There are 4 stores in Fukuoka and even one in Paris! It was very impressive! The store is divided into sections such as baked goods, cakes, and chocolates, and it is spacious! This is the baked goods section with gift sweets and the chocolate section with refrigerated products. This was amazing! The chocolates were as beautiful as jewels! The whole cakes in the showcase looked delicious! I wanted to try them so badly! The popular "Fukuoka Ishidatami (small)" cake with 5 layers of chocolate sponge, cream, vanilla sponge, and chocolate mousse. I wanted to try it but my stomach had no room so I had to give up... So, I chose the "Fukuoka Ishidatami (milk chocolate)" which uses carefully selected milk chocolate for a smooth texture, and it is the most popular item in the store! I made sure to bring a cooler bag with ice packs and safely brought it home♡ By the way, there is a Retro Washo Chocolat in Solaria Plaza in Tenjin, where they have products that are not available at the main store. There are also chocolates that are only sold at this store♡ I hope to go back next time and try the cakes♪

When traveling to Fukuoka, I visited this place. They have an eat-in space with 2-3 seats, but you can't eat in there. I bought two chocolates for takeout (one for a friend) and enjoyed them with coffee from another cafe in the car (lol). When it comes to cakes in Hakata, I heard this place is the go-to spot so I decided to check it out. The Hakata Ishidatami is a popular item, but since it's perishable, it's not suitable as a souvenir. So, I thought I'd just enjoy it myself and bought the Hakata Ishidatami chocolate (550 yen) and the White Ishidatami vanilla (640 yen). They accept QR payments. The Hakata one is bigger in size, but I personally prefer the rich flavor of the White Ishidatami vanilla. If I had to point out a downside, I wish they had included a simple spoon or something.
