I used this restaurant for Sunday lunch. Due to the intense heat, I wanted to eat cold noodles, so I walked along Shokuan Street and saw a sign with a delicious-looking photo of cold noodles, so I decided to enter. I ordered the set with two types of cold noodles for 1280 yen. The side dishes were served quickly and all were delicious. The cold noodles arrived in about 5 minutes, and they looked beautiful. When I tried them, both types of cold noodles were excellent. The set also came with meat, and the grilled meat was also excellent. I had felt that there were few delicious Korean dishes, but this place was very good. If I'm not sure where to go, I will come to this restaurant from now on.

Located along Shokuan Street and easy to find ♫ The smoking area is on the 3rd floor. I dined on the 2nd floor. There are plenty of table seats ♫ The chicken neck meat is delicious! We ordered both spicy and regular chicken neck meat, totaling 5 plates ☺️ The regular meat is a bit fatty! I forgot to order the pancake!

In Shin-Okubo, for Korean BBQ, the staff always cook the meat for you. But here, for Samgyupsal, they place a plate on top of charcoal and you cook the meat yourself as it is already cut. This style was new to me, and we also cut the Dakgalbi ourselves. Wrapping the meat in lettuce with sweet vinegar radish, green onion salad was delicious. The Yukgaejang had lots of ingredients and was tasty. There are various types of meat, so I want to go back again.

Late at night, we went to Soju Hansan, a Korean restaurant that is open 24 hours. The fact that you can smoke electronic cigarettes inside is appealing. We ordered the Budae Jjigae, which was spicy and filling. Even though there were two of us, we couldn't finish it all. It's great that they are open 24 hours. Thank you for the meal.

The meat is delicious and the cost performance is great! They grill the meat on the first floor, and the second and third floors have box seats that are very convenient to use, making your companions happy. I was on the second floor, and although the service was a bit disappointing, the taste was delicious and I was very satisfied. I will go again.

Today's new Okubo patrol! The daily lunch at Soju Hansan is the best cost performance at 600 yen including tax! On Thursdays, there is a cheese tteokgalbi set meal! It comes with rice, soup, and three types of small side dishes not shown in the photo! Highly recommended! #Shin-Okubo lunch #Shin-Okubo gourmet

I entered this restaurant near the parking lot with the intention of having a light meal at night. It seems to be a Korean izakaya. The inside is narrow but goes up to the 3rd floor? It's small, but there were monitors playing K-pop music. The Bibimbap tasted normal but the portion was large. My companion also said there was a lot, so I would like to go back when I want to eat a lot again.

A restaurant where you can enjoy a variety of authentic Korean dishes such as samgyeopsal made with pork belly and fresh vegetables, seafood pancake, and stew. I went for lunch and ordered the "Pork Set (1480 yen)" where you can choose one type of pork and one type of stew. The set includes pork, stew, 3 side dishes, rice, and a drink. I chose pork shoulder loin for the pork, which was tender with a delicious sweetness. For the stew, I chose kimchi stew, which was spicy but irresistibly delicious. This is a recommended restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Korean cuisine at a reasonable price and leave with a full stomach.

I ordered the garlic chive pancake, kalbi bibimbap, and wagyu tartare. They were all delicious, but it took quite a while for each dish to come out. It seems like many restaurants in Shin-Okubo have slow service. If the serving time was a bit faster, that would be great.

When walking along Shinjuku Shokuan-dori, it started pouring rain... I quickly took shelter at Sojuhanzan nearby. I was guided to the 3rd floor where I placed my order using a touch panel. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out which one was the horumon (offal) dish as my Japanese wasn't good enough. The special salami was delicious, but the harami (skirt steak), tan (tongue), and other cuts were tough and not that great. The chicken and mino (tripe) were decent, nothing special. I enjoyed being able to order a half-half of cold noodles and bibim noodles to try two different flavors. The senmai (pork small intestine) sashimi only had sesame sauce, so having miso sauce as an option would have been better. The negi (green onion) sauce was a nice touch for those who enjoy changing up the flavors. And surprisingly, the highlight of the meal was the jyundofu (pure tofu) at the end. It was so delicious, with the seafood broth's umami blending perfectly with the spiciness. I was truly impressed and moved by it. I will definitely come back just for the jyundofu. I hope the taste remains the same with different chefs... I also enjoyed the side dishes like rice, kakuteki (pickled vegetables), and drinks. The total bill came to around 15,000 yen. It seems like they are open late into the night or early morning.

The restaurant always has a line. It's a very popular Korean BBQ place. They don't take reservations on weekends. The staff are handsome Korean men. They use table tablets for ordering, which is convenient. There is a chef who takes your order and comes to your table. They have different types of Chamisul, like muscat and peach. The beef tongue is too thick! If you mention it's your birthday, they will give you a seaweed soup as a service, following a Korean tradition. They are doing even better during the pandemic because they have good ventilation!

The dishes we had on this day were: - Budae Jjigae (2,980 yen) - Japchae (980 yen) - Namul assortment (880 yen) - Various types of Chamisul (Muscat, Pomegranate, Peach - 880 yen each) ■Impressions The famous Korean dish, Budae Jjigae, is a hearty stew with sausages, pork belly, instant noodles, and more. The pork belly was very flavorful and the broth was delicious. The soup starts off white but turns red over time, with a moderate level of spiciness. The Japchae was well-seasoned and made for a good side dish or snack with drinks. We were able to enjoy the food and drinks at a good cost performance. The seafood pancake and japchae are delicious! The portions are generous and the alcohol is reasonably priced. Ordering is done through a touchscreen, and it's funny that you can call the owner or chef. I asked for a cup but it never came. The pancake was chewy and the pork belly was a bit lacking.

Sohu Hansan 029 (Meat) A popular casual Korean restaurant on Ikemen Street has opened a second meat specialty store on the north side of Shoku-an Street. Previously, they used to open in the evening, but recently they have also started serving lunch. I visited during lunchtime on a weekday around 12 o'clock, and there was one group of customers on the second floor eat-in area. There are over 40 box-type seats. The staff is polite and welcoming. The lunch menu offers pork or beef sets without a minimum number of people required. Individual items are priced at 780 yen, 880 yen, 980 yen (excluding tax), with options like Bibimbap, Sundubu Jjigae, and Half Samgyetang. Since I couldn't eat meat dishes, I ordered my usual miso jjigae. The side dishes included Kakuteki, simmered fish cake, and bean sprout namul. All of them were delicious, and I could probably ask for seconds. The Kakuteki was not in dice form but in rectangular blocks. Although Kakuteki is known as one of the spiciest kimchi, this one had a slightly sour and refreshing taste rather than just spiciness. The miso jjigae arrived quickly, packed with clams, small shrimp, green onions, tofu, mushrooms, zucchini, and more. It was slightly spicy and had a rich miso flavor that went well with the tofu. The place started filling up with customers around 12:30, and it seems like people are returning to Shin-Okubo.

This Korean restaurant that is open 24 hours is really a delight during this time! It's a completely Corona bubble-like place...lol The taste is more geared towards Japanese people, not really authentic Korean cuisine. It's not too spicy and easy to eat! The place is always crowded, but it's a cozy spot especially late at night.

The premium tongue was thickly sliced! I imagined Korean-style yakiniku since it's located in a Korean town, but I was surprised to receive such authentic thick-cut tongue. It was a very impressive restaurant! I think it's probably one of the top quality yakiniku places in the Korean food district!
