I love this place because you can also enjoy the side menu here. I've been to various charcoal-grilled chicken restaurants, but I definitely prefer this one. I don't really care about the chicken brand, but the chicken here has a meaty and authentic free-range chicken taste that I love. I prefer this over fine-grained or tender meat. The side menu items like Chicken Nanban and Chicken Sashimi here are also excellent. Even just one egg or one sausage is delicious. The drinks are plentiful, the presentation is great, and overall, isn't this the perfect restaurant? I've been here many times, and it's always good.

I made a reservation for 11:00 on a holiday and ordered the chicken sauce for 1188 yen, bonjiri, yagen cartilage, assorted vegetables, oyakodon, and chicken nanban. I'll leave it to others to talk about the deliciousness of the chicken and the tastiness of the oyakodon, but a male staff member taught me a delicious way to eat shiitake mushrooms. He said that if you place them a little far from the charcoal fire and grill them evenly, a foamy liquid will come out from the edges, so you should rub that and soy sauce into the shiitake mushrooms before eating. After finishing everything, the shiitake mushrooms were finally ready. The sweetness from the shiitake mushrooms and the spiciness from the soy sauce matched perfectly, creating a condensed deliciousness. I should have just ordered the shiitake mushrooms on their own.

First time visiting this restaurant. Took advantage of the consecutive holidays to come to Dazaifu. I made a reservation at this restaurant that I had been curious about for a while. I took the Mahoroba-go bus from in front of Dazaifu Station and it took about 10 minutes to reach. I got off at the Kamado Shrine. I also visited the Kamado Shrine and then walked for 2-3 minutes, but it was quite a steep slope and I got a bit tired haha. I sat at the counter and started with a draft beer! I was thinking of ordering a course menu, but I heard that the portions were quite large, so I decided to go a la carte. It turned out to be the right choice. It seems like all the dishes have generous portions. The only downside was that many items like hormone were sold out. Maybe it's because it's not available for lunch anymore? The local chicken is grilled on charcoal and rolled around. It's right in front of you, so it's quite hot. The taste was very delicious!! My partner was enjoying the beer quite a bit haha. We enjoyed the local chicken dishes while listening to BGM from the Showa era. Thank you for the feast!

It is a restaurant located deep in the mountains, but I happened to find it on a map app and saw the photos which looked incredibly delicious, so I made a reservation and visited. The place is like an old folk house just a few minutes' walk from Kamado Shrine in the depths of Dazaifu. First of all, I loved the atmosphere and felt excited. After being seated, charcoal was set and the dishes were brought out. The meat looked so beautiful! I grilled and ate it with high expectations, and it tasted exactly how I like it. Some people may find the meat tough if it's from an adult bird like a hen, but I personally love the rich flavor that comes from chewing on it. Since local chicken is famous, I personally love adult birds ❤️ Even though I rarely drink alcohol, it went down smoothly and I was very satisfied with the restaurant. It is located far from Hakata Station, and you will need to take a bus from Dazaifu Station, so make sure to check the last bus time or you may need to take a taxi, so please be careful.

Before sightseeing in Dazaifu, visit a local chicken restaurant that serves freshly prepared Kyushu chicken. Make a reservation for a course in advance. The style is similar to Yamaroku in Kumamoto, offering fresh and delicious flavors. While there may be slight differences in the taste and freshness of items like liver, everything is still incredibly delicious. The skin and seseri were especially tasty. I made a reservation in advance at a popular restaurant. I tried the "Jidori Yamakura Gozen" and "Oyakodon", both of which had generous portions, and I left feeling full. I followed the instructions on how to cook it, and the meat was tender and delicious. The restaurant is located a short walk up a hill from the Naiyama bus stop (in front of Kamado Shrine), which you can reach by taking the 100 yen bus (Mahoroba-go) from Dazaifu Station. It's also a nice idea to stop by Kamado Shrine, famous for Demon Slayer, on the way back.

I understand that it is a popular restaurant with time limits, but the way they asked the customers next to us to leave when they were done was not pleasant. We rented out the terrace seating at "Charcoal-grilled Jidori Yamakura" with around 20 people and enjoyed a BBQ-style meal outside. The local chicken dishes like thigh, tenderloin, tail, skin, liver, neck bones, heart, chicken sausage, and chicken wiener were all delicious. We were all very satisfied once again. On the second day of the Fukuoka training, the last place we visited was Charcoal-Grilled Local Chicken Sanso. This was my second visit, and I had been eagerly waiting for it. The restaurant offers a great view outside where you can feel the nature while enjoying your meal. The skin and thigh of the chicken, whether eaten with sauce or salt, were amazing. The texture was crispy and addictive with each bite. The tataki was fresh and refreshing, making it a must-try. I couldn't resist ordering the parent and child bowl instead of mixed rice, and it was absolutely delicious. For dessert, I had warabi mochi, which was also a treat. Thank you for the feast, and I will definitely visit again.

Located a little away from Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, this restaurant serves delicious and fresh chicken dishes such as grilled chicken thigh with sauce and chicken sashimi. To be honest, everything was delicious! They provide salt, pepper, and shichimi (seven-flavor chili pepper) on the table, but the seasoning is already perfect as it is. Just be careful because the portions are quite generous, so you need to think carefully before ordering, or else you won't be able to try other dishes. I had heard that the parent and child rice bowl was excellent, so I wanted to try it, but I'll save it for next time!

The atmosphere inside the restaurant was great, surrounded by nature with a beautiful view of greenery from the windows. This time, we grilled chicken on the terrace! The meat was fresh and delicious, as they use whole local chickens. Eating outside in the open air made the experience enjoyable and tasty. Next time, I want to try dining inside the restaurant!
