I was able to buy that Sunny Pan! Shiroya @ Hakata Ippin Street in Kitakyushu, a retro Showa-style bakery with long lines. I found out in advance that Shiroya is located on the 1st floor of Hakata Station's Ippin Street, so on the second day, I went to the station to buy Sunny Pan! This is the state around 3:00 PM the day before. Already sold out of the omelette... On this day, the omelette was sold out by early afternoon. The omelette is a refrigerated item with 5 pieces for ¥270! So cheap!!! But, I can't eat 5 pieces, and the store doesn't offer reservations or refrigeration, so I decided to buy it on the last day... I came up with a good idea! I'll write about it later. You have to come early to buy this! So, the next morning, I arrived around 7:45 to coincide with the 8:00 opening time, and there were already 3 people waiting! In the morning, the products were packed tightly. The Sunny Pan comes in a pack of 2 for ¥255! So cheap!!! I put 3 packs of Sunny Pan and 1 pack of omelette in my basket... It's hard to decide. Other customers were also buying a lot, all aiming for the Sunny Pan and omelette... In this photo, the "Camembert Noir" at the bottom right also seemed popular... The side dishes like "Ebi Katsu Coppe" and "Tamago Coppe" were also available. The omelette also tempted with options like "Salt Milk Anko Omelette" and "Strawberry Omelette"... The An Butter Coppe is ¥140, and the Surfing is ¥120. The Surfing Sandwich is a sandwich with popular Baumkuchen sandwiched between slices of bread, but I didn't buy it, but I should have! The English Bread also caught my eye... Guess what! An 8-slice loaf is ¥280!!! So cheap!!! So, I was very indecisive, but I bought 4 packs of Sunny Pan (laughs), 1 pack of omelette, and an uncut English Bread. Back at the hotel, I had a morning snack... The omelette is Shiroya's hit product! A mini size of 2-3 bites, with plenty of whipped cream on a fluffy dough made with delicious eggs! The cream is not too sweet, and the dough is soft and fluffy! This costs just over ¥50! The Sunny Pan is Shiroya's most popular bread with plenty of dripping condensed milk! I had it as it was in the hotel, but it is recommended to toast it before eating! If you lightly toast it until the surface is crispy and the condensed milk inside the bread becomes spotted on the bread, it's a sweet happiness! I want to buy it again! (Still in the freezer) Sometimes, Sunny Pan is sold at Hankyu Department Store's Ooi Food Hall in Oimachi, Tokyo, so be sure to check it out. And how did I keep it cold until I returned? I used the refrigerated lockers at Hankyu Department Store in Hakata Station! It was located on the first basement floor, to the left of the escalator in the center, right next to the mentaiko (spicy cod roe) section! Here, you can use it for ¥100 with no time limit (within Hankyu's business hours), and you get ¥100 back when you finish using it, which was a fantastic locker! You can also put in and take out items along the way, so in the summer, if you put in a bottle, you can have a cold drink on your way back! This is a refrigerated locker in the basement of Mitsukoshi in Tenjin. Here, it was ¥200/day (within the same day). Try to use it effectively! ===========
