I had been curious about this restaurant for a while. I was able to make a reservation and finally went there. As soon as I walked in, I had a good feeling and my intuition was right! The place was run by two people, one specializing in grilling and the other meticulously preparing fresh wasabi and serving customers efficiently. The menu is only omakase course, but it seems like they might change it up a bit based on what they asked when I made the reservation. Even if the same menu is served next time, I feel like I would still be satisfied. The grilled chicken skewers were cooked perfectly, and if you want to order something extra, you are free to do so. I ordered the minced chicken rice bowl, and it was incredibly delicious. The drinks were also great, and I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visited Chouji-san's restaurant! The course prices are cheap and the drinks are also low-priced! I started with the marinated chicken breast with kelp - it was all delicious and amazing! I couldn't help but order more, including the pate and skewers! The staff were also very friendly and I will definitely visit again!

Today, I visited the affiliated restaurant "Yakitori Toriji" near Ohori Park. The interior was very clean and well-coordinated, creating a great atmosphere. The food was delicious from start to finish. I would like to try their Mizutaki (chicken hot pot) next time.

Yakitori Toriji in Fukuoka is located in Ohori Park, where I visited during a business trip. I was intrigued by it since it is next to the orange hotpot restaurant I visited before. This was my first visit, and I enjoyed the stop system for ordering various skewers. The portions and grilling techniques vary depending on the cut of meat, and I would love to visit this place every week if it were near my home. Encountering such unique restaurants different from those in Tokyo is one of the highlights of business trips. The food was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

Visited with a friend. Reservation was at 6:30. We arrived a bit late but were warmly welcomed. The restaurant only had a counter with about 15 seats in total. There was an elderly couple in the back and a group of four people in their 50s in the front who seemed to be colleagues. The atmosphere was just right - not too quiet, not too noisy. We could chat without any issues. The course menu was the only option, with additional dishes available. We added chicken skewers and minced chicken rice bowl. The course started with perfectly cooked chicken breast that was so delicious that I would visit again just for that. The wine selection was extensive with a variety of bottles available. It's a must-visit for wine lovers.

I went to dinner with my friends at a restaurant where you can only sit at the counter. The atmosphere was bright and the regular customers were all very friendly. There was a great sense of unity with the owner. It's common for new customers to feel hesitant when entering a restaurant for the first time, but that wasn't the case here at all. Despite the lively atmosphere, each customer was able to enjoy their own time without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. It was a casual and relaxed place where you could have a good time whether you were on a date or out with friends. The menu was omakase style, so you didn't end up feeling too full or like you didn't have enough to eat. The drinks went down smoothly, and you could also order additional skewers if you wanted. It was easy to communicate with the owner about what you wanted to eat. The two owners were quietly focused on cooking, creating a comfortable atmosphere where you didn't have to worry about anything. For those driving, there was a coin parking lot next to the restaurant, but it was quite expensive, so it's something to keep in mind when planning your budget, especially considering the restaurant's location near Ohori Park.

I have visited this place a few times, but this time I was with my mother who is not used to bar hopping. I'm always surprised that the course is less than 4000 yen... although the variety is not extensive, the meticulous preparation makes it worth it even if it were more expensive. The vegetables and chicken are really delicious. And here, you can always try some unusual drinks. On this day, they had craft gin, so I had a gin and tonic as my second drink. What is this! It's rare and easy to drink! Wine is also available, so those who prefer Western liquor will also be satisfied. From the third drink onwards, I went back to my usual Japanese sake. It's impressive that they have Imada. The chef is a bit shy but works diligently while also paying attention to detail, making it a comfortable atmosphere, and I end up drinking too much... For the finale, I had the off-menu soboro rice bowl. It was also amazing. The soboro has a coarse texture and a meaty taste, and it's not too sweet, making it easy to eat. If you're looking for a yakitori restaurant in Fukuoka, the type with pork belly and chicken skewers is good, but the stylish type is also great!

I went to a famous restaurant recommended by a friend in Hakata. I made a reservation about 2 months ago. The atmosphere was like a popular yakitori place, with a small counter seating about 14 people. The yakitori had a mature flavor with a salt base, which may be a bit too strong for those who prefer a sweeter taste. The total bill for the set menu and minced chicken bowl was around 4000 yen, but with sake, it came to about 5000 yen. The minced chicken bowl was delicious and satisfying. I would love to visit again, but it's too far away. I wonder if there are similar restaurants in Tokyo.

Two weeks ago, I made a reservation and visited this restaurant. The course was omakase only, which means chef's choice. They asked about any ingredients you don't like beforehand, which was nice. The dishes I had were: 1. Chicken sashimi with kelp, 2. Salad skewers, 3. Sabi-yaki (chicken tenderloin), 4. Ginkgo nuts, 5. Chicken skin, 6. Brown mushrooms, 7. Chicken liver, 8. Chicken wings, 9. Chicken esophagus, 10. Chicken heart and green onion rolls, 11. Chicken heart, 12. Chicken tail, 13. Grilled chicken breast, 14. Chicken gizzard, 15. Chicken tail tip, 16. Quail eggs, 17. Chicken liver, 18. Chicken thigh, 19. Minced chicken, 20. Soup. I had a lot of skewers in addition to the 5-course set, and everything was incredibly delicious! It's understandable why people come from faraway places like Tokyo and Hokkaido to eat here. Particularly, the chicken skin and chicken liver were outstandingly delicious! The skin had a crispy texture and the liver had a smooth and rich flavor. I tried many dishes, but these two are highly recommended! Considering the amount and quality of food I had, the price of around 8000 yen per person was surprisingly affordable! I will definitely come back again! Thank you for the meal!

My friend who lives in Fukuoka made a reservation at a restaurant in response to my request for delicious yakitori. Each skewer was carefully seasoned and very tasty! The craft gin and tonic also paired well with the yakitori and was so delicious that I felt like I could easily drink too much. Every skewer was so delicious that I wanted to order more. Even the final rice dish was excellent! I think this restaurant is worth visiting Fukuoka for. ´◡`

Near Ohori Park, next to Mizutaki Tachibana, there is a yakitori restaurant. Enter the bright interior through the modest entrance. Only omakase course available. It starts with wasabi chicken breast. The grilling is incredibly meticulous and enjoyable to watch. The yakitori is exquisite with a perfect balance of flavors. Great value for money. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Today, I returned to Hakata to meet up with everyone at "Yakitori Toritsugi" because customers were coming from Kumamoto. I forgot to take photos because I was too caught up in catching up with everyone. The course was 3000 yen, which was quite reasonable. We had about 10 skewers of yakitori and chicken sashimi, and everything was delicious! I will definitely come back again. We also had some drinks and the restaurant was packed.

We made a reservation for 3 people and visited the restaurant. We chose the chef's special course, so they asked us if there were any dislikes or dietary restrictions. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant. Two of us felt that the course alone was not enough, so we also ordered liver pate and minced meat rice bowl. Each skewer was served individually, so we could enjoy it while it was still warm, and it was wonderful to see them being grilled right in front of us. I'm not a big fan of ginkgo nuts, zucchini, or quail eggs, but with the smoky flavor from the charcoal grill, they tasted delicious. My favorite green onion skewers were delicious as always, and the chicken tenderloin was also very tasty - it was juicy and tender, and when wrapped in seaweed, it added even more flavor and texture. It paired well with the Japanese sake, and I would love to visit again in the future.

This time we visited Toriji, located at 1-8-14 Otemon, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. Next to it is the affiliated restaurant Mizutaki Tohji, which has been awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand for both of its locations. The exterior of the restaurant is made of stone and exudes a calm and luxurious atmosphere. The interior has only a counter, with the grilling area at the center where they serve freshly grilled items. We started with a toast with draft beer! The menu consists of an omakase course only (salad, 5 types of skewers, 3 types of vegetables, chicken meatballs, soup) for 3300 yen. The breast meat was marinated in kelp and wrapped in wasabi, starting off with a moist and flavorful bite. The salad included cabbage, carrots, celery, cucumbers, etc. (with sesame oil and soy sauce dressing). The chicken tenderloin was grilled carefully to a rare center, allowing for a different taste when wrapped in seaweed. The myoga miso was a nice touch with its crunchy texture. The thick Oita shiitake mushrooms were juicy and delicious. The quail was a rare cut with a meaty and crispy skin. The tail meat was tender and well-prepared. The sweet potato was moist and sweet. The chicken meatballs were grilled perfectly with a rare center. We also had an additional minced chicken rice bowl, which was flavorful and paired well with the rice. The chicken soup at the end was a nice way to finish the meal. We enjoyed the delicious food and appreciated the attentive service from the staff. Thank you for the meal.

It was delicious! The carefully grilled texture, the softness and freshness of the rare meat, and the lack of heaviness made it easy to keep eating. I started with the marinated chicken breast, which had a great texture and flavor that filled my mouth. I had never tried marinated chicken breast before!! Finally, I had minced meat over rice! Everything was so easy to eat, with no strong flavors, making it suitable for even children to enjoy without needing alcohol as a pairing!

If you're heading to Fukuoka, make sure to have a delicious dinner at a great restaurant. I asked for recommendations from a friend in Fukuoka who loves food and ended up visiting this place. I love simple grilled chicken skewers that bring out the deliciousness of the chicken. I arrived late due to some errands and managed to squeeze in as a walk-in. Since it's a counter seating, I could see the chef grilling the skewers, making it enjoyable even for a solo diner. The restaurant was full, with many couples and a few solo diners. The staff asked if I was okay with the chef's choice course since it was late, and I gladly accepted. The first dish was chicken sashimi with kelp, which made me crave sake. Then, the skewers came out at the perfect timing. The wasabi chicken breast skewer was made with fresh chicken, cooked to perfection. The miso chicken with myoga was also delicious, and I was happy to see seasonal items on the menu. I enjoyed the soriresu (thigh root), chicken tenderloin, quail, chicken neck, and sweet potato skewers. The liver skewer was my favorite. I also ordered a mini chicken rice bowl, which was incredibly tasty. I even received a business card from a chef who trained here and opened his own restaurant. I left the restaurant feeling very satisfied with my last dinner in Fukuoka.

I visited a popular yakitori restaurant near Ohori Park. It is a 2.3-minute walk from Ohori Park Station. The interior of the restaurant is like a hidden gem for adults, with only counter seats available. This time, I ordered the Yakitori Omakase Course (3000 yen). It started with a salad, followed by chicken sashimi and yakitori. Overall, the seasoning was just right, and the yakitori was very delicious. The Tsukune was especially exquisite. It has a high-end yakitori atmosphere, but the cost performance is also very good. I would be happier if there were more types of alcohol, but I would like to go there again considering the cost performance.

The delicious restaurant of quail eggs is definitely delicious‼️ Such is the famous store in Fukuoka! I love Toriji__________. The head chef, who was also at the predecessor of the Kanto-style Nissho, always grills skewers in the usual course. Whether it's skewer preparation, salt seasoning, or grilling, everything is flawless. The timing of serving is also carefully monitored, so you can entrust yourself with peace of mind.___________. (Contents of the omakase). Chicken breast with wasabi: Plenty of wasabi, but a pleasant spiciness and tenderness of the meat. Ginkgo nuts: The perfect grilling and salt seasoning for ginkgo nut lovers! I love the seasonal feel ❤️. Gizzard: A crunchy texture and coarse salt make it wonderful. Brown Mushroom: What is this!! Surprising. The unknown taste of mushroom juices overflow and cannot resist!! Quail eggs: The perfect marination of this sauce and the tenderness from grilling, it clings gently to the tongue. Bonjiri: I don't like bonjiri, but I can't help but eat it. Liver: The main event is here, no fishiness or smell, just tender meat that melts in a slightly sweet sauce. Sorii: I ate it after a long time. It's delicious. It's the base of the thigh, but when you chew it, it has a firm chewy texture, giving you the feeling of eating chicken meat! Truly ___________. In addition to these, there are several more skewers. We thoroughly enjoyed the essence of the course with 10 grilled chicken skewers, along with draft beer, Heartland shochu (Miyazaki: sweet potato), and sake, Akishika (Osaka: Junmai sake, alcohol content 70). This is also a lineup of strong Japanese sake. Even my friend who doesn't like shochu enjoyed the Chingu on the rocks and was satisfied. I'm a light eater, but when I come here, I can't help but eat!! That's the chicken soboro bowl. The amount of meat and the deep flavor of the chicken soboro! Spread densely on top of rice, crush the quail egg and take a bite.... You will definitely be ecstatic when you eat it. I calm down with the delicious chicken soup and seasonings served together, a blend of Sansho and Shichimi pepper. The addition of richness, umami, spiciness, and aroma is irresistible. It's just irresistible♪ More ecstasy is coming ___________. The staff is also quick and efficient, making you feel good. Head chef Ono-san also observes our eating speed and provides grilled dishes at the perfect timing. Of course, the course is a bit expensive for yakitori, but the high-quality taste and leisurely time are unmatched elsewhere. High-quality food and time flow here. Since the number of seats is limited, be sure to make a reservation before you go. They also have wine, so it's great for an adult anniversary! I ate here about a year ago, but I definitely want to go back when things calm down.__________. A famous yakitori restaurant near Ohori Park that has won the Michelin Bib Gourmand. I had always wanted to go there and finally got the chance. The facade doesn't look like a typical yakitori place, and inside, the seating is only at the counter, creating a calm atmosphere. The place exudes an aura of being able to eat delicious food. I started with a toast with a glass of draft beer. The creamy foam and the thin glass made it delicious! The only option for food is the chef's choice. They first confirm if you are okay with raw chicken. "Chicken sashimi" is marinated in kelp, moist and full of flavor! "Chicken breast" was surprisingly well-cooked, with a slightly dry surface. "Myoga" was miso-grilled and tasted delicious! "Chicken tail" had a crispy skin and juicy inside, with a good bounce! They also served "shiitake mushrooms," "gizzard," and "quail" smoked. "Sweet potatoes" and "chicken thigh meat" were grilled with a thick sauce. The "dango" was a bit chewy and not so great. They source young chickens from Kyushu and butcher them whole to use in yakitori. They use rare parts like tail in yakitori, which they can do because they share the kitchen with a hot pot restaurant next door. The base flavor is Kanto-style, so the sauce had a sharp taste. I had high expectations, so while it was delicious, overall, it was a bit underwhelming. The delicate touch of the grill master can change the taste of yakitori, which is the difficulty of it. Unfortunately, the owner wasn't there that day. But I thought it was lovely that they stopped serving skewers when I went to the restroom and waited for me to come back. One interesting drink on the menu was the "Craft Gin Tonic starting from 800 yen," where you can choose from 6 types of gin. I only knew Tanqueray and Monkey, so I decided to try BOBBY'S gin. It was a hit! A refreshing lemongrass flavor as described. It was the type of gin I like, perfect for pairing with food! I also tried the Tanqueray, which was infused with Sichuan pepper and wood leaves by the restaurant. The scent was a bit too strong for me... That day, Fukuoka had shortened business hours due to COVID-19, closing at 9 p.m. The last entry was at 7:30 p.m. We were the only customers that day. Even popular restaurants can be like this... COVID-19 is truly frightening... I hope all the people in the food and beverage industry keep up the good work! Thank you for the meal!
