I revisited this place at the end of last year. It's about a 5-minute walk from Nakasu Kawabata Station in Fukuoka. It's located in the middle of a shopping arcade. The inside of the restaurant was crowded with many customers. It's a counter-only seating restaurant with steam rising from the kitchen and the staff moving briskly. There was a line outside, but the turnover rate seemed to be good. I purchased my ticket at the ticket machine for ramen (600 yen) and an extra serving of noodles (100 yen). I was guided to the counter by a staff member and ordered the ramen with firm noodles. It was served in 2-3 minutes. The appearance of the ramen remained unchanged and still looked delicious. I took a sip of the light tonkotsu broth, which had a subtle flavor of the original sauce and was not too salty. I usually order thick noodles, so it was refreshing to taste the traditional soup after a long time. The noodles were plentiful, and the thin, smooth noodles absorbed the soup gracefully. With each bite, I felt a sense of bliss. The charm of Nagahama ramen was irresistible. I ordered an extra serving of noodles and enjoyed the classic flavor combinations of the toppings: extra noodles, white pepper, and pickled ginger. The multi-layered flavors were delightful. It's no wonder this place is always packed with customers. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and left feeling completely satisfied. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I came here because I wanted to eat Nagahama ramen. The menu only offers ramen. It is a counter-only service, with extra green onions provided. There is red pickled ginger and sesame on the counter for toppings. There was also ramen sauce available. It lacked a bit of flavor compared to what I had imagined.

Eating ramen in the middle of the night is delicious. Firm noodles, lots of green onions. Extra noodles firm. Extra meat for 1000 yen. Cheap, tasty, and truly the best authentic Nagahama ramen. The owner was very kind to the drunk customers around. I will definitely go back when I come to Hakata.

◇Ramen 700 yen
◇Extra noodles 150 yen
◇Extra meat 150 yen
Visited on Saturday after 9 pm. There were 8 people waiting outside. The menu only offers ramen, and all orders are made through food tickets, including extra noodles. The portion of Hakata-style ramen noodles here is generous, unlike the usual smaller portions. The soup is light, so if you find it a bit lacking, you can add the ramen sauce provided on the table for a richer flavor. With extra noodles and extra meat, you'll leave feeling satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Conclusion, I visited a snack shop in the evening where the staff seemed a bit rude. I purchased a ticket from the vending machine and the only menu available was ramen. The only seating option was at the counter. A ramen with extra noodles cost 850 yen. This was my first time trying Nagahama ramen, so I can't really comment on the taste. I was more concerned about the behavior of the staff. In front of my seat, there was a spot that seemed like a dishwashing area for the kitchen, and the staff would throw used cups and dishes there, making a lot of noise and causing annoyance.

I wanted to eat multiple bowls of light Hakata ramen, and this place was perfect for me. Issho was quite rich with a strong pork bone flavor. ShinShin was lighter with pork bone flavor. This place is even lighter. You can enjoy it as a snack. Don't expect much in terms of customer service.

I was surprised when I saw the vending machine. It was so cheap. I ordered the double meat one. After taking a bite, I realized for the first time that I actually like pork bone ramen. It was very delicious. I enjoyed being able to change the taste by adding red pickled ginger, sesame seeds, or sauce. A very delicious ramen.

Fukuoka, Nakasu Kawabata's "Original Ramen Nagahama-ya" has been gaining popularity for its light and refreshing ramen, perfect for a late-night meal after drinking. The pork bone ramen here is known for its light flavor, so I decided to give it a try. I purchased a 700 yen ramen ticket at the counter and ordered it with firm noodles. I added sesame seeds and pickled ginger. Yes, it's definitely light. This is the lightest pork bone ramen I've ever had. The restaurant was packed with customers looking for a satisfying meal after a night of drinking. It's a popular spot for sure.

During my recent business trip to Fukuoka, I decided to try tonkotsu ramen at the original "Nagahama-ya" in Nakasu Kawabata. I have been here a few times after drinking in Nakasu, but this was my first time visiting during the day. I ordered the "ramen" from the ticket machine, chose firm noodles, and was served promptly. The ramen had a light tonkotsu broth without any strong smell, and the firm thin noodles paired well with the soup. The generous amount of chopped green onions added a nice touch to the overall flavor. Even though I usually don't like tonkotsu ramen, I found this light broth to be quite enjoyable.

I really wanted to eat ramen, so I went to a Hakata ramen restaurant late at night. It was full, so I waited for about 10 minutes. The interior of the restaurant is quite small with only a counter. The water was self-service, but it didn't feel very hygienic. The ramen was normal but delicious.

Five minutes' walk from Nakasu Kawabata Station, I visited "Ganso Ramen Nagahama-ya (commonly known as "Ie 2"). In the Nagahama area, there used to be the main store and branch of "Ganso Ramen Nagahama-ya", but the main store closed down and the branch relocated, leading to a proliferation of ramen shops bearing the name "Ganso Nagahama" around 2010. Former employees of Nagahama-ya opened "Nagahama-ya (Ie 1)" in front of the former branch, and then one of those employees opened "Nagahama-ya (Ie 2)" about 100 meters away. After a legal dispute, Ie 2 won the right to use the name "Nagahama-ya", but later relocated to Nakasu Kawabata. I arrived before 6 pm on a weekday and there was no wait. I was able to enter smoothly. The ticket vending machine was out of order, so I ordered the ramen (extra firm) for 700 yen at the counter. It was served very quickly. The soup is tonkotsu-based but not too thick, following the Nagahama style. It has the same light taste as before and is delicious. The straight ultra-thin noodles have a slight floury texture and go perfectly with the soup. I enjoyed changing the flavor with red pickled ginger and sesame, and added an extra serving of noodles (150 yen), enjoying it until the end.

I went to the original ramen restaurant, Nagahamaya, in Nakasu. I was able to sit down right away as there were empty seats. The ticket machine happened to be broken, so I paid 700 yen in cash for a bowl of ramen. They offered free green onions as a topping. The menu was simple with only ramen as an option. Most of the staff were foreigners of Asian descent, giving the place an exotic atmosphere. The ramen arrived shortly after ordering. I had high expectations for the first Nagahama ramen, but the taste was not to my liking as it had a unique flavor. I tried changing the taste with red pickled ginger, sesame, and soup seasoning.

Both my wife and I had ramen for 700 yen each. The noodles were cooked to medium firmness. After enjoying some yakiniku, we decided to have ramen as a finishing touch. I have been here multiple times, but it was my wife's first visit. This time, we both ordered the regular ramen without asking for extra green onions or extra pork fat. Since we had just eaten yakiniku, we decided not to get extra noodles this time. Towards the end, we added some sesame seeds and pickled ginger, and we were completely satisfied with our meal. The thin slices of pork were surprisingly delicious, and I almost ordered extra meat.

On the last day of my Fukuoka trip, after checking out of my hotel in Nakasu Kawabata, I went for an early lunch at a ramen shop that caught my eye. The shop had a long counter and was not too crowded at 11:00, making it easy for solo female diners like me to enter. I ordered my ramen at the ticket machine inside the shop, specifying that I wanted the noodles to be firm. When I took a sip of the soup, I was pleasantly surprised by how rich it was yet still refreshing. It was delicious and satisfying. The thinly sliced pork had a nice flavor and there was plenty of it. I briefly considered adding more broth from the pot on the counter, but ultimately decided against it because the soup was already flavorful enough with the pork. The generous amount of green onions added a nice touch to the ramen. Overall, it was a truly satisfying bowl of ramen that brought me happiness.

I stopped by "Original Ramen Nagahama-ya" for a late-night ramen after drinking in Nakasu. This shop is located on the Kawabata side, and I visited it while wandering around Nakasu. Perhaps due to drinking too much, my memory is a bit fuzzy, but I couldn't resist the craving for a bowl of ramen as a finishing touch. A bowl of ramen costs 700 yen. It seems like the price of Nagahama ramen is gradually increasing. Anyway, I slurped it up without adding anything. It was light and refreshing! Then, I added pickled ginger and sesame to change the flavor and slurped it all up.

When I go back to Fukuoka, I always make sure to eat at Nagahama-ya. I always order with extra green onions. They seemed to have forgotten the extra green onions this time, but they brought them later, haha. Nagahama-ya always serves consistently delicious ramen. It's a ramen that I could eat every day when I go back home. I wonder when I'll be able to go there next.

I visited during lunchtime. I have been to Nagahamaya before, but this was my first time at Nagahamake. The menu is simple. As soon as you sit down, they ask you, "How firm do you want your noodles?" Most people say "firm" or "soft," but I ordered mine "normal." I didn't know what "soft" meant, so I asked someone at the table, and apparently it's a term for noodles that are cooked less than "firm." The taste was the classic Nagahama Ramen, with light pork bone broth and thin noodles. What's most surprising is the price. In this day and age, it's only 500 yen, which is the price of a coin! Also, this has nothing to do with Nagahamake, but the nearby parking lot (which is paid) charges 330 yen for 10 minutes, which was quite a shock. I will definitely come back. It was delicious.

After the seminar, we went to an izakaya and then to the Grand Hyatt bar for a third round. I like rich tonkotsu ramen like Kurume ramen, but I found Nagahama ramen to be a bit light and unsatisfying. The additional meat also seemed like scraps and was disappointing.

First visit. Came after drinking at a different place. Purchased food tickets. The shop was bustling with many ramen enthusiasts. Ordered ramen. The pork bone flavor wasn't too strong, making it very easy to eat. After drowning in alcohol, I will definitely visit again next time. Thank you for the meal!

I had to work late, so I ended up arriving very late to the dinner party and couldn't eat much during the first round. They were considerate and took me out for ramen for the second round. It's been a while since I had this kind of second round. We had beer and regular ramen. The taste was average, but I felt like the soup was a bit bland.

This was my first time landing in Kyushu, Hakata in July 2023. I wandered the night streets looking to eat ramen and found this shop. The smell of pork bone broth wafted outside the shop, and I knew I was in for a treat. The ticket machine was very simple, with only buttons for ramen, extra noodles, and extra pork. When I sat down, I was asked how I wanted my noodles cooked - normal or firm. I went with normal for my first bowl. It was surprisingly light and easy to eat even after drinking. For the second bowl, I challenged myself with firm noodles. There was a slight al dente texture that lingered, giving a fresh feeling while eating. I finished the whole bowl feeling satisfied.
