I walked all the way to Shinjuku Gyoen, so I decided to go to a second restaurant. They have a great lunch deal on weekdays, and I tried a light vegetable menu and some gyoza for a taste. I thought it was a gyoza specialty shop, but they had a lot of healthy vegetable options as well, which was fun. The chilled eggplant was nicely cold with plenty of green onions and ginger as toppings, and the dashi broth was elegant. The pickled zassai was so delicious, and only 150 yen! The pan-fried gyoza had thin skin with a flavorful filling, a traditional gyoza that made the rice taste delicious. Despite being a busy restaurant, the gyoza had a beautiful sear. The gyoza in miso soup had a gentle skin with a satisfying taste, a dish full of flavor. You can get plenty of vegetables, they also have gyoza without leeks or garlic, and the interior, restroom, and staff were all sparkling clean, making it easy to invite even girls. I'll come back here on an empty stomach.

Visited "Gyoza no Fukubao Shinjuku" in Shinjuku, a popular gyoza restaurant known for its cheap and delicious food. I have been to their Toyosu branch before, but today I had some business in Shinjuku and decided to visit for lunch. I had a sudden craving for B-class gourmet food like gyoza. I arrived before opening time and wrote my name in the waiting list book outside the restaurant. As the opening time approached, more customers arrived to write their names. I ordered pan-fried gyoza (320 yen tax included), boiled gyoza (320 yen tax included), cabbage (180 yen tax included), chilled eggplant (220 yen tax included), and a regular portion of rice (200 yen tax included). Of course, I chose the gyoza with "leeks and garlic." Cabbage and chilled eggplant were served first. The cabbage had a strong vinegar taste, serving as a good appetizer for the gyoza. The chilled eggplant was seasoned with ginger and was light and easy to eat. The gyoza that I was looking forward to was served with rice. First, I tried the pan-fried gyoza. It was crispy and had a strong leek and garlic flavor. They were small, so I couldn't help but eat them quickly. The boiled gyoza was soft and well-cooked. The texture was soft, and they were also small, making it easy to eat several at once. They were delicious with chili oil and soy sauce, and went well with rice. It was a blissful moment of enjoying B-class gourmet food. All of this cost just a little over 1000 yen, so it felt like a good deal. They also offer lunch sets on weekdays, which are even more affordable. Payment is cash only, and at the time of my visit, they did not provide an invoice. It was delicious. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

I walked from Shinjuku Sanchome and it was quite far...but it was worth it because I was craving for dumplings!! My friend and I shared a trio of dumplings - fried, pan-fried, and boiled. The fried and pan-fried dumplings were delicious!! The boiled dumplings tasted a bit bland...the skin was thin though. I liked that we could choose to have them with or without chives and garlic. The price was around 3,000 yen for both of us, and we were very satisfied with the meal. ^_^

I wanted to eat delicious gyoza, so I visited this restaurant. I wrote my name down around 6:45 pm on Friday and waited for about 30 minutes to get a table. I ordered a trio of gyoza with garlic and chives, namul, and chilled eggplant. Of course, I didn't forget to order a beer as well. The namul and chilled eggplant were subtly flavored and elegant. The pan-fried gyoza was just average, maybe a bit too sweet, but the deep-fried gyoza was my favorite so I ordered more. The restaurant was crowded with a lot of young people, probably because the prices are very cheap! Overall, the food was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the east exit of Shinjuku Station. I have also visited the restaurant early around 17:30, 30 minutes after opening, and even after almost an hour, there was still plenty of space inside. I ordered gyoza with leeks, garlic, and both fried and steamed. The gyoza comes in servings of 6 pieces, and if you order 3 servings or more, you can get a better deal by ordering the "Trio" which includes fried, steamed, and one extra serving of your choice. The gyoza skin is thin, and you can taste the sweetness of the vegetables and the strong flavor of garlic in the filling.

After a long time, I visited Gyoza no Fukubao! I wrote my name on the list in the evening and was seated in about 10 minutes. It's still a popular place! The menu has changed a bit since my last visit, with new items like Negitoro Takana Rice and Miso Soup Gyoza. The food was delicious as always, but I ended up eating too much and felt a bit of stomach discomfort on the way home. Next time, I'll try to stop at 80% full. Thank you for the meal.

Located a 2-minute walk from Shinjuku Gyoenmae Station in Shinjuku, Tokyo, is "Gyoza no Fukubao Shinjuku Store." Gyoza no Fukubao has four stores in Tokyo, including Toyosu, Yoyogi-Hachiman, Nakameguro, and Shinjuku. It is a popular gyoza restaurant that always has a line during peak hours, and when I visited, more than half of the customers were foreigners. I wonder if it was featured somewhere or advertised to foreigners. I visited around 9 pm and waited for about 30 minutes. The restaurant has 10 counter seats and 22 table seats, totaling 32 seats. The main gyoza comes with the option of with or without leeks and garlic. You can also customize your gyoza with toppings like green onion and garlic, green onion and ginger, yuzu pepper sauce, grated radish, or perilla for an additional 80 yen each. I personally like perilla gyoza, so I always add perilla topping and enjoy it by wrapping the gyoza with perilla! The gyoza with a crispy surface and a thin skin is filled with flavorful leeks and garlic, with a hint of fragrant perilla. The boiled dumplings allow you to savor the umami of the skin and have a smooth texture. Considering the location, the prices are reasonable. It's a convenient gyoza restaurant if you can eat quickly, but be prepared to wait a bit. Thank you for the meal! [Items I tried this time] - Fried gyoza 320 yen - Boiled gyoza 320 yen - Perilla topping 80 yen - Mizore soup gyoza 230 yen - Cabbage 180 yen.

Anyway, it's delicious. The size is small and easy to eat. I usually visit the Naka-Meguro store, but this is my first time at the Shinjuku store. Since my wife is working tomorrow, I ordered 30 garlic-free dumplings! The best part about having 30 dumplings is the first half where they are piping hot with a little sauce, and then the second half where you can dip them in sauce and enjoy them in one bite. The consistency of the vinegar and pepper is also amazing. Finished off with a serving of delicious boiled dumplings for myself.

Delicious in a good way, just simply tasty without trying to be unique. The highlight was definitely the grilled dumplings. The negitoro takana rice bowl was also great. The cost performance is surprisingly high, like Ootoya. A wallet-friendly place where young people line up. Cash only, so be aware. I personally prioritize taste and atmosphere over cost performance, so my rating is a bit low, but if factoring in cost performance, it would be 3.5. A nice and normal dumpling place with a good atmosphere. They gave me a discount when I ordered items separately, which was a nice touch. This kind of customer service is appreciated. Truly deserving of being in the top 100 restaurants.

Gyoza Top 100 in 2021. Visited on Tuesday at 13:50, with 4 customers ahead of me. However, more customers kept coming while I was waiting, and by around 14:10, there was a line of 5 people. Maybe the rain during lunchtime had an effect? I looked at the menu and ordered the lunch set with gyoza, without garlic chives, with rice and chicken tamago instead. Soon, a small side dish (stir-fried bean sprouts and chives) was served, and it was delicious. I noticed that you could add an extra plate of gyoza for 220 yen, but since it took a while for my order to arrive, I decided to leave it as it is. I was also doing a lunch tour from the Curry Top 100, so I wasn't sure about the portion of gyoza, but it was fine. The dishes arrived in just over 10 minutes - gyoza and the rice with chicken tamago, along with a seaweed soup. The gyoza had a thin skin and the filling was more like that of a meat bun, but it was delicious. The rice with chicken tamago had a light sweet and savory flavor, and it was tasty on its own or with the gyoza. The total bill was 748 yen, including the gyoza lunch set for 540 yen, the chicken rice substitution for 140 yen, and 68 yen in consumption tax. They only accepted cash, so I paid in cash. Next time, I'll add an extra plate of gyoza with a different flavor for a double gyoza set!

During a business trip, I visited a restaurant called Gyoza Fukubao in Shinjuku Gyoenmae. I enjoyed their pan-fried, boiled, and deep-fried dumplings. Four colleagues and I tried about 150 dumplings and concluded that the pan-fried ones were the best. If you go before 6 pm, you can get in easily, but after that, there might be a wait. I recommend going early. The side dishes were also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I went to have a snack after shopping in Shinjuku. The store was very comfortable despite it being midsummer. I couldn't drink alcohol because I drove there, but I'm sure it would go well with alcohol. Next time, I definitely want to go by train and enjoy food with alcohol to the fullest.

I was able to enter the shop a little earlier than usual because it was closed for the Bon holidays. The staff's customer service was good, and I was able to order in a good mood. I ordered grilled, boiled, and fried dishes with garlic. Surprisingly light and you can eat a lot. The skin is also thin. I highly recommend ordering the pickled zasai. The prices are affordable and it's a user-friendly shop. I will visit again. Thank you for the meal.

8/12 Shinjuku - Second time at Gyoza no Fukupao since last November. We had 2 servings of pan-fried dumplings for ¥640. Also ordered the meat miso bean sprouts for ¥220, chicken skin stew for ¥320, and a Premium Malt beer for ¥500. The dumplings were excellent in terms of skin, filling, and size. The side dishes had a decent variety and were both affordable and delicious. #gyoza #Gyoza no Fukupao #pan-fried dumplings

This place has great cost performance, with cheap and delicious gyoza! I love this restaurant. My friend and I ate 36 gyoza in one go. It's nice that ordering more at once makes it cheaper. The other menu items besides gyoza are so-so, but in terms of cost performance, the gyoza and rice are the best.

I gathered with my fellow dumpling lovers and held a dumpling party (〃艸〃) ◆Access◆ About 4 minutes walk from Shinjuku Gyoen Station ◆Operating hours and interior◆ Around 1:30 pm, there wasn't much of a line, but because there were a lot of people, there was a waiting time. ◆Recommended usage scene◆ A date with dumpling lovers you have gotten close to after the third time. Family, friends. ◆Order◆ Trio of grilled, boiled, and fried dumplings, cucumber and carrot salad ◆Impressions◆ The dumpling skins were thin and delicious♡ For the boiled and grilled dumplings, use the dumpling sauce. For the fried dumplings, there is seaweed salt available, so I think it's best to use that (*´˘`*)

I couldn't make a reservation at this restaurant, so I waited for about 20 minutes during lunchtime to finally get in. But it was totally worth it because they have the best dumplings here. I tried the pan-fried dumplings, boiled dumplings, and deep-fried dumplings, and all of them were delicious. The appetizers that go well with beer are also amazing, so I think it's a great place for day drinking at an izakaya.

I went around 9 pm and had to wait for 5 to 6 groups ahead of me. There were many foreign customers. You can get 30 dumplings for less than 1,500 yen, so I think it's very cost-effective. They also offer various side dishes like shiso dumplings, so you won't get tired of eating. Although there may be a line, once you get inside, you can quickly eat and leave.
