Neonora
Today, I visited this place for a drinking party with my colleagues! Despite making a reservation just two days before the weekend, we miraculously secured a table! As a meat lover, I really wanted to go here, so I was lucky! The restaurant is located on the second floor of the same building as "Robatayaki Raikyobashi" and the entrance may be a bit hard to spot at first glance. Inside, there is a counter in the shape of a "C" with a nice atmosphere. Although there were many couples, we didn't mind and went in as two guys! We looked at the menu and ordered the recommended items: - Appetizer: Salad - Meat Assortment for Two (3,300 yen) - Vegetable Assortment for Two (1,100 yen) - Draft Beer (550 yen) The staff cooked the food in front of us using charcoal! It was very helpful, especially for parts where we didn't know how to cook them. Watching the cooking process while drinking beer was enjoyable. The types of meat and vegetables in this meal were as follows: Meat: Heart, intestines, cheek meat, inner thigh, ribeye Vegetables: Shiitake mushrooms, yam, eggplant, turnip, bell pepper, lotus root, zucchini, macomotake For the price, there were quite a variety of options, which was unexpectedly reasonable. The salad appetizer being all-you-can-eat was also appreciated! Now, onto the meat and vegetables we were curious about... they were amazing! The seasoning included salt, soy sauce, ponzu, and miso, with the staff recommending the best match for each cut. The heart had a firm texture with a light umami flavor, the intestines had a crispy skin and juicy fat, the cheek meat had a crunchy texture and a refreshing aftertaste, the inner thigh was lean with a clean umami flavor, and the ribeye was tender with juicy marbling. The meal was so delicious that it could generate a lot of heat even if discussed in one go! As we had come all this way, we decided to order more meat! We asked the staff for recommendations other than what we had already tried, and also added some other items: - Harami (skirt steak) - Sagari (hanging tender) - Mino (tripe) - Pork Bone Ramen - Thick-cut Garlic Toast The harami had a tender texture with a burst of meaty flavor, the sagari had just the right amount of fat that left a lingering umami taste, and the mino had a crispy texture with juicy fat! It was different from the mino we usually eat and it was truly impressive. The pork bone ramen was a limited quantity item with a rich broth that was surprisingly light and easy to eat. However, if you're here, it might be better to try other meats instead. The thick-cut garlic toast had a fluffy texture with a lingering garlic aroma that paired perfectly with the meat! After drinking quite a bit, we nervously checked the bill and it came out to just over 7,000 yen per person... surprisingly reasonable! The satisfaction we got for that price made us happy! It was delicious!
