At NANA Cafe, the bagel is thick and voluminous! Peanut butter and banana are perfect for replenishing energy after hill climbing. #Fukuoka #NakagawaCity #Cafe #NANACafe #NANACafeBagel

I visited NANA Cafe. Their bagels are famous, so I decided to eat in. The bagel was as big as a hamburger, with a hard outer crust and a soft, chewy inside. What impressed me the most was the strong aroma of wheat in the bagel, which was wonderful. Even though I'm not great at distinguishing flavors, I could tell that the bread was delicious. The fillings were tasty, and the juice was freshly squeezed. Overall, it's a great restaurant that pays attention to detail. It has become one of my favorite places. Thank you for the meal!

After three weeks, I visited "NANA CAFE" in Naka River City, Fukuoka, where I had a bagel sandwich. Upon entering the cafe, there is a display of bagels for sale, with the cafe space at the back. Even if you are using the cafe, you need to order and pay at the register near the bagel display. You can also purchase a bagel and enjoy it in the cafe. For drinks, I had a hot coffee and my eldest daughter had white peach juice. We ordered the "Smoked Salmon Sandwich" and the "Walnut Honey Gorgonzola Sandwich", both priced at 500 yen each. The staff kindly offered to cut the sandwiches in half so we could share. The Smoked Salmon Sandwich had a great flavor combination of smoked salmon and cream cheese. The bagel was plain to enhance the taste of the ingredients. The Walnut Honey Gorgonzola Sandwich had quality honey with a refreshing sweetness. You can see tables and chairs in the cafe's garden, which would be a nice place to relax in good weather. It takes over 30 minutes from Shimo-Ōri or Tenjin to get there. Despite its location surrounded by rice fields, the environment is comforting. Although the cafe mainly serves bagels, it is a place worth revisiting.

A delicious bagel shop. You can enjoy the peaceful scenery of vast fields while savoring your bagel slowly. The prices are reasonable, and the service is polite. I will definitely go back.

The chewy texture and dense filling provide a satisfying bite. Just one bagel can make you feel quite full. There is a wide variety of bagel options, with plain being delicious as expected. There are also various filled options like blueberry cheese or onion cheese, which can be enjoyed like savory pastries. Plain bagels go well with pasta or soup. Sets with different types of bagels make you think about what to eat them with, adding to the fun of enjoying bagels.

It's been a while since my last visit. I was planning to have these for breakfast tomorrow, but ended up having them with beer late at night. This time, I bought a chestnut bagel for 300 yen, a cheese bagel for 220 yen, and a fig bagel for 200 yen. The chestnut bagel had chunks of chestnuts and a big chestnut bun inside, very satisfying. I would love to have it again this autumn. How about the cheese bagel? Personally, I prefer bagels with some ingredients kneaded in, so it felt a bit off for me. But it goes well with beer. As always, my favorite is the fig bagel. So delicious. It's been a while since I last visited, but just a 10-minute drive from Fukuoka, this rural landscape is nice. I'll be back again!

Bagel specialty shop. Around 15 varieties are prepared every day. The cheese bagel was the most delicious. Some customers were seen carrying them home with both hands full. The shop also has a cafe space with a good variety of drinks. A very cozy shop.

This is a bagel specialty shop & cafe located in Nokagawa-cho, Chikushi-gun, Fukuoka Prefecture. It may take about an hour by car from the center of Fukuoka City. On this day, after having ramen for lunch at "Ramen Kukai" in the same area, I convinced my colleague to stop by Nanacafe, which had been recommended by a friend. It's a peaceful place, isn't it? The outdoor seating in the garden is natural and lovely. As soon as you enter the shop, you'll see that it's a bagel specialty store. They only sell bagels here. The bagels are baked in a dedicated kiln in the adjacent workshop, with about 200-300 made every day. However, they don't bake on Sundays, so they sell frozen ones from the freezer in the shop. We also got to try some samples. They had organic honey, syrup, and jams that would go well with bagels. Even though we were full from ramen (lol), we decided to have some tea since we were here. There is a cafe space at the back of the shop. The music and acoustics are nice, making it a pleasant place to relax. They have a reasonably priced drink menu. Since we were here, we decided to share one bagel for eating in. The bagel is gently warmed up for you. Today, we tried the Special Smoked Bagel. It has a strong smoky flavor with pancetta and cheese, topped with pumpkin seeds, making it a sophisticated, not-too-sweet bagel for adults. This would definitely go well with alcohol! It's the most popular item at the shop, and it was the last one left! I ordered an iced tea. It was delicious, but I thought maybe I should have gone for the coffee since the owner brews it carefully for each cup. My colleague had the homemade ginger ale. She said it was delicious with a strong ginger flavor. They also have a variety of bagel sandwich options that they make to order after you've placed it. It's a cafe where you can enjoy lunch as well. But, we had ramen earlier (sweat). We were full! So, we got some to go. The plastic bags they provide are completely sealed, so you can freeze them as they are and they'll last for about a month. The types of bagels change daily, but here are some examples for reference. They also post about them on their Facebook page. I had plans in Naka-gawa town and decided to have lunch with a friend at the nearby bagel shop NANA CAFE. The shop is easy to find with its large sign in the tranquil countryside. Inside, there are various types of bagels displayed. I chose the smoked salmon sandwich with a side of pickles for lunch. I also ordered an iced Earl Grey tea to drink on that hot day. The bagel was cut into pieces, making it easy to eat, and it was soft and delicious. The cafe space was relaxing, with a view of the garden. I also got a rum raisin butter cream sandwich to take away, which can be frozen and enjoyed as a snack later. Looking forward to it! ☺️

I'm addicted to this place! The bagels here are outstanding!! So delicious! I couldn't forget about the bagels so I came back again. They have a variety of bagels and I went early to get them fresh out of the oven. Yum, so tasty! Today, I visited NANACAFE! They sell bagels from 10:30 am and lunch starts at 12:00 pm. Once the bagels are sold out, that's it. For lunch, they had baked curry and bagel sandwiches with options for the curry portion. Bagel sandwich choices included avocado and prosciutto, smoked salmon, cream cheese and peanut butter, banana, and more. They also offer sets with salad, dessert, and a drink for around 1000 yen. The bagel flavors are plentiful too, like pumpkin, chocolate chip, hazelnut, etc., priced around 200 yen each!

There is a cafe specializing in bagels by the Nagara River, and I visited it. The view in front of me is a peaceful landscape of rice fields. The fact that they focus solely on bagels at this location must mean they have some hardcore fans. The shop is like a renovated tin warehouse. Inside, there is a spacious cafe space with various types of bagels on display. It seems that sandwich items are also available for takeout. The owner brought us some samples to try. Since we were there, we decided to purchase several sandwich menu items and bagels. Personally, I'm not a big fan of bagels, but these ones seemed to have a focus on quality ingredients and had a nice chewy texture. The warm plain bagel with Parma ham, avocado, and mozzarella cheese was a great combination. It seems like it would also make a great souvenir!

It's my number one bagel. The texture is amazing! I used to go to the store in Ohashi, but it seems to have disappeared and turned into the Siohara store? Today, I was able to visit the main store here at just the right time. It's a cozy space with a peaceful countryside view. Even though there's no smoke like at Hibari Cafe, you can see the Rokko mountain range and feel relaxed. I had the bagel lunch (hot sandwich + herbal tea) and it was delicious and filling. Luckily, they were selling lucky bags today, so I was able to get one. It included decaf coffee (small bottle), three bagels, and a discount coupon for only 700 yen! They will be selling them again on the 10th (Saturday), so I'm thinking of going back. I was so happy to get the lucky bag, so I rate this experience as 5 stars. It was a truly happy day.

On a Sunday afternoon, I went to this shop to buy some bagels and take a break. Following the navigation, I tried to enter the alley where the shop was located, but it seemed like a one-way street so I gave up and ended up taking a detour through a rural road to finally arrive at the shop. Inside, there were many types of bagels, but for now, I ordered a coffee and headed to the table seats in the back to take a break. The coffee was delicious, and I could relax while looking at the garden, but I felt that more comfortable chairs would have been better for relaxing. After about 30 minutes of idling, I purchased a smoked cheese bagel and left the shop. The bagel I ate later had plenty of smoked cheese inside, giving it a unique flavor that I enjoyed. Personally, I prefer a slightly chewier texture. There were about 10 different kinds of bagels besides smoked cheese, so I would like to stop by again if I am in the area.
