Fukuoka City, Hakata-ku, Hakata Station Front 3-chome area ~ 5 minutes walk from JR Hakata Station! A "Michelin ☆ 3 Years Consecutive Award Winning Restaurant" has opened in the office district in front of Hakata Station and is gaining popularity. The exterior is on the 1st floor of a mixed-use building! Inside, there is a Japanese modern space with an L-shaped counter seat and private table seats! There is a calm and sophisticated atmosphere! This time, we had the "Chef's Special Premium Nigiri Course". First, we started with a platter of 5 appetizers - candied kinkan, pumpkin tofu, tender octopus, cheese sandwich, squid shinjo. Each dish showcases the skills of Japanese cuisine and is delicious. The first nigiri sushi served was "Chutoro" - a signature dish of this place! The delicate fat of the chutoro spreads the umami in the mouth, surprising with its exquisite taste. Today's "Yamaguchi Prefecture Sensaki / Honmaguro" was served! The finely crafted knife work and delicate fat of the chutoro create an amazing flavor. Next, the standout Edomae nigiri "Halibut" and "Japanese flying squid" were served! The halibut has an elegant deliciousness, while the squid has a sticky texture enhanced by the sudachi citrus. The next dish, "Kue sashimi," is visually beautiful and has a deep flavor, truly the king of white fish! The scene for social media! The beginning of "Bonito smoked" - the smoky aroma spreads gently in the restaurant! Smoked bonito is a delicacy that bonito lovers cannot resist! The mid-course "Golden Eye Snapper," "Horse Mackerel," "Scallop" highlight the quality of the ingredients with their vibrant colors and shine, stimulating artistic sensibilities! The perfect match with vinegared rice is superb. The marinated tuna! A traditional technique unique to Edomae sushi - but to have such delicious lean tuna! The discerning eye for tuna, as well as the craftsmanship, are wonderful! The side dish "Amberjack teriyaki" is perfect for sake! The moderate fat of the amberjack pairs well with junmai ginjo sake. Next, two gunkan sushi - "Caviar Gunkan" and "Sea Urchin Gunkan" are served! Both gunkan sushi are superb! The rarely eaten "Caviar" was exquisite! As expected of Michelin! And the "Toro-taku topped with ikura" is undeniably delicious - a combination of delicious ingredients! The queen of shrimp, "Botan shrimp," is also superb! The moist and tender texture of the botan shrimp with a mild warmth and richness is outstanding. The "Crab Chawanmushi" is a luxurious dish with snow crab and ikura, comforting and delicious. The main nigiri "Otoro" makes its appearance! A champion from appearance to taste - the richness that spreads in the mouth is the king of sushi! It was a dish that made me want another serving. The last nigiri, "Anago simmered," was excellent! It was soft and delicious in the mouth. Finally, "Dried gourd roll," "Red miso soup," and "Dessert" are served!
