I've always wanted to go, but since I usually play golf on weekdays, I never had the chance to visit this place for breakfast. Starting tomorrow, I will be going on a two-night, three-day trip to visit museums and art galleries in Ueno, Tokyo. My wife gave me strict orders not to play golf due to the risk of heatstroke preventing me from enjoying the trip, so finally, I will be able to visit this breakfast spot. I arrived at the restaurant before 7:30 am because there was a review mentioning that it sold out by 7:50. When I arrived, there was only one group of two customers waiting, probably due to the uncertain weather. However, by the time they started distributing the tickets at 7:50, there was already a considerable line, and the breakfast was sold out. The staff politely informed us of this. Even after that, there were travelers from overseas coming to the restaurant one after another. At 7:50, I received the ticket and moved closer to the entrance. While waiting, I admired the coffee-making process at the coffee county shop inside the restaurant. At 8:00, with a cheerful voice, they announced the opening of the restaurant. The staff at the reception explained the seating options (inside or outside) and the types of coffee available. You can choose from six types of coffee beans, and you can choose between hot or iced coffee. This time, I chose to sit outside and ordered a hot Ethiopian dark roast coffee. The breakfast payment is cash only, and it cost 1375 yen. The staff will guide you to your seat. I held onto the ticket and sat at the designated outdoor table. After waiting for about 5 minutes, a male staff member from Coffee County served the coffee. He also brought a description of the coffee beans. While reading the coffee bean description, I waited for about a minute. Then, a female staff member brought the breakfast set. They mentioned that you can have unlimited refills of bread. The breakfast set included baguette, lasagna, pork rillettes, galette, salad with fresh vegetables, chicken breast ham, boiled egg, sautéed Tsunomurasaki (a type of vegetable), tiramisu, and coffee. Everything was delicious, and I was satisfied with the quality, quantity, price, staff service, and atmosphere. It is definitely worth lining up for this breakfast. The table in front of me was occupied by two women from Tokyo, and they said they would definitely recommend it to their friends when they travel to Fukuoka. If you want to enjoy a leisurely breakfast instead of a rushed morning, I highly recommend this place. Additional note: After having breakfast, I bought some bread from the shop as a souvenir. They accept electronic payments for this. Additional note: This is a wonderful restaurant where the staff's customer service is well-trained. Due to my job, I tend to observe the staff's actions and responses, and I was very impressed by their professionalism.
