Three years ago, I tried Yamanaka's Motsunabe (miso flavor) for the first time and was deeply impressed (;_;) No matter how many bites I take, I am always amazed by its deliciousness!! In Osaka, there are mostly soy sauce-based motsunabe, but whenever I go to Hakata, I always go to Yamanaka and eat miso-based motsunabe! The Akasaka branch has a sophisticated and stylish atmosphere!

I love motsunabe and this was one of the best I've ever had, competing for the top spot. This time I chose miso nabe, but I would like to try soy sauce nabe as well. The miso was not too sweet, with a rich and mellow flavor. The motsu was fresh and delicious as expected. The garlic chives served as an appetizer were delicious, and the garlic chives in the nabe were also tasty, making it seem like a shop famous for its garlic chives.

Yamanaka-san, who is highly supported by locals, offers a standard motsunabe that truly represents the flavors of Hakata. The restaurant has a high-class atmosphere, making it a great place to bring visiting superiors from out of town. I personally prefer the miso flavor - it's rich and delicious! The vegetables are also so good, I can't stop eating them. A motsunabe meal is quite filling, so ordering just one additional dish is enough. As for the finale, I definitely want to have a satisfying ending. The boss also enjoyed the meal, and when I mentioned to the staff that it was delicious, they said they will soon open a branch in Ginza. I hope people in Ginza will also be able to remember the taste of Hakata at the new location.

Whenever I come to Fukuoka, I always make sure to visit this place! I have been here four times in the past 10 years, and it is always packed with customers. The service is excellent, and the interior is stylish and clean. The motsunabe (offal hot pot) is delicious whether you choose soy sauce or miso broth. The grilled tongue side dish is also very tasty!

It's been a while since my last visit. Started with a draft beer in a stylish glass. Ordered some pickled vegetables, cold tofu, and kimchi, then had the motsunabe hot pot. Chose the soy sauce base today. It was delicious! Had extra beef tripe and finished with champon noodles. The motsunabe was really good after a long time! Thank you for the meal!

Spacious atmosphere from the landing to the entrance. The interior exudes luxury. The taste is exquisite, with the chewy motsu being the largest I've ever had. Perfect for entertaining, dates, or family outings. Reasonable prices and a place you'll want to visit again.

After returning from work, I hopped on a plane and arrived at Fukuoka Airport around 8:30 PM. I checked into the hotel and then walked over to a restaurant where I had made a reservation, meeting with Yamachuu-san for the first time in 2 years. We ordered two servings of mentaiko, boiled beef tongue, and miso motsunabe. The appetizers were delicious right from the start. I had thought that the boiled beef tongue was a specialty only found at the Tan-yaki restaurant in Yotsuya, but the one here was also quite tasty. The main dish, motsunabe, was of course delicious. It had a rich and flavorful taste that made me crave it every time. It paired perfectly with beer. Apparently, a Ginza branch will also open this year.

It was a simple and cozy hot pot restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the interior was clean. I opted for rice as the finishing dish, which was delicious with sesame seeds sprinkled on top. Although there were set menus available, I found that just having the hot pot was satisfying enough!

I barely made it through the Championship qualifying rounds in 41st place and managed to advance to the Exhibition. I was struggling due to my own poor performance and the high level of competition in this tournament. But at least I achieved the minimum goal of making it to the Exhibition round. As soon as I arrived, I ordered a celebratory beer. The restaurant was bustling with customers. I was relieved that I had made a reservation, otherwise it could have been bad. I toasted with the beer and enjoyed the delicious peanut and garlic chive salad that came as an appetizer. It was really tasty. I wonder if they mix the garlic chive roots with peanuts and miso? The root part is usually left over when using the top part for cooking, but the root is actually delicious! I would have liked to order more if possible. I ordered two servings of beef tripe hot pot with soy sauce. A few minutes later, the dishes arrived. Even though they said it was already cooked, it was still quite hot so I reheated it. I stopped the heat when the garlic chives were cooked. I tried it and the tripe was sweet. The more you chew, the sweetness spreads in your mouth. If you eat a lot of this, you'll gain weight! The ingredients included cabbage, burdock, garlic chives, and konjac. I added more vegetables as I ate. The topping of chili peppers was a nice touch. The yuzu pepper was unexpectedly sweet. Since we had plans to go to another restaurant next, we just drank the soup and finished. It was a great meal. P.S. And then we headed to the second restaurant.

5th visit. Every time I come to this Akasaka shop, I enjoy the miso flavor. The first time I tried it, I decided that if it were my last meal, it would be the miso flavor here. But even this time, I enjoyed it without wavering. I think the freshness of the motsu is what makes it so delicious, but unfortunately, I haven't found motsu this good in Tokyo.

If you want to eat motsunabe in Hakata after two years, I highly recommend Yamachuu! It is incredibly delicious, reasonably priced, and the customer service is excellent (completely different from daytime). When I had motsunabe for the first time in my life here two years ago, I was so impressed with the taste that I immediately went to Yamamomo in Ningyocho, but was shocked by the difference in taste. If you are unsure about where to eat motsunabe in Hakata, I recommend this restaurant! Especially the miso flavor and homemade spicy mentaiko. It seems that a store will be opening in Tokyo soon, but this is a place I will definitely visit again when I go to Hakata.

The staff were always attentive to the customers, providing excellent service with prompt order taking and guidance to the restroom. ◆Food We ordered motsunabe (tripe hot pot) with miso, karashi mentaiko, and raw motsu. I had high expectations for the motsunabe based on the reviews, but it exceeded my imagination. The miso soup was the best I have ever had in all the motsunabe I've tried. We also had a few highballs before ordering a bottle of Sakuradake (barley shochu). Although we could have taken the leftover drinks home, the food was so delicious that we ended up finishing the whole bottle between the two of us.

After watching a movie in Hakata, we went to Yamanaka for dinner. The reason we chose motsunabe is because during the Bon holidays, I wanted to eat something with a lot of garlic, which I normally can't eat due to my job. I usually make and eat it at home, so I said we didn't need to go out to eat, but my husband really wanted to eat it, so we went. It's been about 40 years since I last ate motsunabe outside, at "Manju-ya". So, I had some expectations for eating motsunabe outside. When we arrived, I was surprised by the super high-end restaurant-like atmosphere. Motsunabe in a place like this?? I was really surprised. It was still 5 pm, so there were hardly any customers. This time, my husband reserved the premium course. The table was set with dishes and a menu was placed on it. A small dish assortment with 4 items in small bowls was brought to the table. Spicy mentaiko, edamame soup, vinegar motsu, and simmered tongue, I think? After that, the motsunabe that had already been simmered and completed was brought to the table. I guess it's to increase turnover. It's a little sad that you can't see the large amount of vegetables being flattened in front of you. Additional vegetables were placed on the table. After finishing the first serving and adding more vegetables, we received more motsu to make a second serving. In a small dish, there were red pepper, grated garlic, and yuzu pepper. You can put them on a plate according to your preference, but my husband, who wanted garlic, kept asking for more garlic. We chose soy sauce instead of miso for the flavor. I was hoping for larger, plump, sweet motsu since it's a high-end and famous restaurant, but the soup tasted quite ordinary, and the motsu was small and tough. The amount of vegetables was very small, and the champon noodles we chose for the finish were also small in quantity and not very delicious. Motsunabe with champon noodles as the finish is the ultimate happiness, but it was really disappointing. The dessert ice cream was delicious. This high-end and stylish atmosphere would be appreciated for dates or business entertainment. Thank you for the meal.

I love Yamanaka so much! You can't say you've been to Hakata without trying this! The soup and motsu are too delicious, it's overwhelming! I always eat it while groaning in delight. It's so delicious, and it makes you smell like garlic! But it has an elegant taste!!

This is my second visit. I went on a Saturday and was able to get in by arriving early due to the spacious restaurant. The taste is still top-notch. The miso-flavored soup is so delicious that I end up drinking it all at once. The offal melts in your mouth, and there is no other place that serves such delicious offal hot pot.

After a year, I visited the restaurant and had their usual miso flavor. The quality was as good as ever, and both my companion and I enjoyed three servings of offal and vegetables, followed by champon noodles and porridge for the finale. It was my companion's first time, but we were both very satisfied.

On the second day of my trip to Hakata, I visited this restaurant. I thought since I came all the way to Hakata, I should try motsunabe (tripe hot pot). When I climbed the stairs, I found a spacious second floor that I couldn't have imagined from the outside. The interior was stylish and suitable for a date. I ordered two servings of miso motsunabe and pickled vegetables. It came in a small iron pot. I was worried if it would be enough, but surprisingly, it was just the right amount by the time we finished. We enjoyed the delicious motsunabe.
