Last year, I visited Mikan and was impressed, so when I heard that my gourmet friends also visited last year and enjoyed it, I made a reservation a month in advance and visited with my friend. Compared to Mikan, it had more of a casual dining feel, or... in a good way, it felt younger in terms of age group and lively. The overall taste of the dishes was on the sweeter side in terms of seasoning and sauce. (Maybe because I'm used to the taste of Nagoya) The sweetness wasn't overwhelming, and I was able to enjoy the food until the end without feeling bloated or having heartburn. Among them, the rolled omelette and steamed egg custard were delicious ♡ At one point, the restaurant was busy, so the dishes were rushed, and my favorite steamed egg custard had to be remade, but the follow-up was excellent, and the performance was good, so I rated the service as ★★★★ 4 stars. The chef in front of us? Anticipated our excitement, so until the steamed egg custard was ready, they served a plate of duck as a service! The attention to detail, consideration, and care really made us happy, and my friend who was with me was also very pleased, so I also felt good. Personally, I prefer the atmosphere of Mikan, but... I think it's different for everyone. However, to be able to oversee the entire restaurant in that situation deserves applause! I also love the personality of the head chef at Mikan, but I think it's because of that head chef that wonderful talents (staff) are nurtured and blessed. I recommend this restaurant to friends going to Fukuoka because the prices are reasonable. Next time, I want to visit Mikan ♡
