We visited this restaurant as a couple during our stay in Hakata. We found this place by searching for nearby restaurants near our hotel. We arrived around 6 pm without a reservation and it was full. We checked for availability and returned around 8 pm to sit at the counter. It was our first time, so we ordered the course menu. From salad, yakitori, fried food, grilled rice balls, chicken soup, dessert, and more, everything was delicious and meticulously prepared from start to finish. The young chef grilling the yakitori was so focused and dedicated. Watching him work was impressive and even moving. You can see the whole process of making the yakitori at the counter. We have only been to a few night dining spots in Hakata, but stumbling upon such a wonderful restaurant on our first visit made us realize the true charm of the city. The staff were all handsome and provided excellent service. I would recommend this place for a girls' night out as well. When we come to stay in Hakata again, we will definitely choose a hotel nearby and visit this restaurant at night.

My wife and I visited this restaurant on the last day of our vacation. The staff were all cheerful and friendly, creating a good atmosphere. The appetizer was edamame with vinegar and cabbage, a Fukuoka specialty, and the edamame was delicious. Among the grilled dishes, the highlight was the tsukune. It was honestly the most delicious tsukune I've ever had. The charcoal aroma was subtle, and the flavor was rich and packed. The shrimp rolls and shiitake mushrooms were also delicious, with a crispy skin and tender meat. However, please note that they only accept cash payments, so make sure to have enough cash in your wallet.

I made a reservation for a girls' night out after a long time on Friday. We had a two-hour slot starting from 6 pm, but the place was quickly packed with customers at both the counter and tables. The interior was clean and had a nice atmosphere. We enjoyed dishes like pork belly, chicken skin lettuce wraps, shrimp rolls, cheese rolls, tsukune meatballs, cloudsen ham, crispy bell peppers, tofu salad, and pig's feet (which I didn't eat as I don't like it). Everything was delicious. The yakitori was great as a side dish for drinks, but as someone who doesn't drink much, I found it a bit too salty.

It was a popular restaurant, but it was not crowded at Level 3 alert. We had pork belly, chicken liver, chicken gizzards, cheese roll, grilled chicken with mustard, onigiri, bottled beer, and appetizers, totaling 3,520 yen. Since I wasn't feeling well, I only had one bottle of beer, so it was cheaper.

I have been visiting Fukuoka frequently lately, but I have had trouble finding yakitori. It seemed to be a popular place, but I was able to secure a seat a little later. I ordered... sesame liver, karaage, kimozuri, yuzu chicken breast, wasabi soy sauce, and seseri skin, I think? Among them, the liver and kimozuri were incredibly delicious! Yakitori with beer... it's the best combination!

I visited the popular yakitori restaurant "Yakitori Yashichi" in Takasago, a 5-minute walk from Yakuin Station, for the first time in about 2 years, and it was still a great place. The shrimp roll, limited to 10 pieces per day, was delicious, and the other skewers were also tasty. The service was good too. Even though it's a yakitori restaurant, I recommend trying the gomakampachi. It's a great atmosphere for eating with friends and having a good time. I went on a Saturday without a reservation, and it was almost full with customers. They said they could prepare a table for us if we were okay with a 2-hour limit. The skewers we ordered were served at just the right intervals, and I ended up eating them before taking any photos. I really liked the lettuce wraps. This is a super popular yakitori restaurant in Yakuin. I called on Sunday evening as a long shot and was able to make a reservation. When I arrived, there were only two other groups, perhaps due to the rain. The sesame chicken skewers were 890 yen, half-boiled egg skewer 200 yen, chicken tenderloin 200 yen each, chicken oyster 220 yen, pork belly 220 yen, cheese-wrapped skewer 280 yen, mega highball 750 yen, bottled beer 700 yen, total 5,490 yen. Every dish was of high quality, especially the sesame chicken skewers with a great texture and the tender chicken oysters. I highly recommend trying them. I was very satisfied with the delicious food.

I used it for a social gathering. Since we couldn't take photos at the gathering, I only have a picture of the exterior. We used a private room with a sunken kotatsu table. The restaurant was full. Overall, the food was delicious, but I particularly enjoyed the fried chicken, lettuce wraps, and chicken liver. The staff were also very friendly.

We found a yakitori restaurant near Yakuin called Hachibei, which was described as an independent shop from the original restaurant. On the first day of my business trip to Fukuoka, on a Sunday, I visited Yakitori Yashichi for a dinner meeting as soon as I arrived. The restaurant is located in a back alley about a 3-minute walk from Watanabe-dori Station, within walking distance from Yakuin Station. It is a popular yakitori restaurant that branched off from the well-established Yaebei in Fukuoka. We made a reservation a few days in advance and arrived at 6:00 pm. The seating consists of a counter and tables, with a total of 40 seats. Including reservations, it seemed to be almost fully booked. My colleague and I sat at the counter, started with a toast with draft beer, and began our dinner meeting. Although there were course options, we decided to enjoy a la carte dishes on this day. Here is what we had: - Cabbage and chicken skin with ponzu sauce as the appetizer. - Smashed cucumbers with a strong flavor, perfect for sake. - Sesame marinated bonito sashimi, fresh and generous portion. - Grilled gizzard × 2, limited quantity menu with great texture. - Homemade meatball with cartilage × 2. - Grilled chicken thigh × 2, crispy skin and juicy meat. - Wagyu sagari skewers × 2, colorful and visually appealing skewers with delicious sauce and mustard. - Ginkgo nuts × 2, a must-order item. - Chicken soup × 2 as the closing dish. We enjoyed some alcohol along with the above dishes, and the total bill for two people was 12,050 yen. Yashichi offers both course menus and a la carte options, and they also serve motsunabe and Mizutaki. The service was good, and it is a convenient and user-friendly restaurant. I made a reservation for Saturday evening and was able to secure a seat within 2 hours. When I entered the restaurant, reserved customers kept coming in. We ordered: Charge for 2 people 800, 2 bottles of beer 1,000, Yuzu tea 300, Seseri 2 pieces 360, Sunazuri 2 pieces 340, Chicken skin 2 pieces 340, Cheese roll 2 pieces 560, Quail egg skewer 2 pieces 400, Furisode 2 pieces 460, Unzen ham 1 piece 230, Horse sashimi 1500, Crispy green peppers 460, Chicken soup 2 bowls 400, Grilled rice balls 2 pieces 560. The total was 8,200 yen (excluding tax). I was surprised by the juiciness of the Seseri. The horse sashimi was tender with just the right amount of fat. The cheese roll had a flavor that became addictive. The Unzen ham tasted similar to SPAM and was delicious. Every dish was delicious and reasonably priced. It's a great restaurant with excellent value for money.

Today, I was really craving for some yakitori! Yakitori is a great food because you can eat a lot without getting fat! So, I decided to go to the famous restaurant "Yashichi" in Fukuoka. This restaurant was opened by chefs who trained at the renowned "Hachibei" restaurant, so my expectations were high. The atmosphere inside was sophisticated and classy, with a lot of elegance. I made a reservation for a weekday, and it was almost full after 7 pm. There were a lot of female customers, maybe because of the recent yakitori boom. The chicken tenderloin with wasabi soy sauce didn't stand out much for me, but that could be because I prefer wasabi with other types of meat. The ginkgo nut was a nice touch, and the chicken soup was a comforting way to end the meal. Overall, the meal was around 10,000 yen for three drinks each (my senior treated me). The atmosphere was great, and it's a perfect spot for a casual date or a fun night out. Fukuoka really has a high level of yakitori restaurants. It was a delightful dining experience.

I went to Yakitori Yashichi again today. As it is the first independent shop from Hachibei, it is famous, has good taste, and the staff are all energetic and nice. Limited skewers sold out quickly. The ratio of men to women among the staff and customers was almost the same (laughs). There are also creative skewers, so it's popular with women too. They use good quality charcoal. I ordered chicken skin, chicken liver, intestines, cartilage skewers, charcoal-grilled chashu, and furisode. The charcoal-grilled chashu had a good thickness and seasoning, and when eaten with white leeks and sansho pepper, it was really delicious. It was the most impressive dish. The restaurant is also clean, so I enjoyed the meal. Delicious food can only come from a clean place. It's not convincing to say that delicious food comes from an unhygienic place (laughs). But Yashichi is clean. I will go again around the end of the month.

The taste, service, and atmosphere are all outstanding. Truly a popular restaurant. However, I personally do not like the brand of draft beer they serve, so it's a bit disappointing for beer lovers like me to have to order something other than beer. It would be nice if they also offered a different brand of bottled beer. I recommend sitting at the counter. I tried sitting at a table for the first time, but I think watching the ingredients and cooking process while eating adds to the experience. Restaurants where you can see the chefs at work are best enjoyed at the counter. Whether it's a date, a business meeting, or hanging out with friends, I think this restaurant will leave you completely satisfied.

Fukuoka has many really delicious yakitori restaurants! This place also serves high-quality, tasty yakitori. You can't go wrong with anything you order (=^▽^=) It's so delicious that I ended up drinking beer, sake, shochu, and half a glass of sparkling wine all by myself (∩∀`*)キャッ The only downside was the cost of the drinks ♡ I had the dishes shown in the photos... First time at this restaurant. It seems like all food establishments are struggling due to the impact of the coronavirus, but this place is bustling. It's almost full and there are a lot of young people. There's a lot of energy here. The variety of skewers is impressive, and the popular lettuce wraps are a must-try. The orders didn't come out in the order they were placed, so I started to worry if they had forgotten about ours, but they eventually arrived, so all was good. Around 9 pm, some tables started to empty out, so it seems like this place is popular for the first stop of the night. The counter isn't very spacious, so if you order a lot at once, you might have to wait. It's not a very calm atmosphere, but the food is delicious, making it suitable for larger groups.
