- Sushiro is a revolving sushi chain that boasts the highest number of stores in Japan. You order dishes that are then made in the kitchen and delivered to your table via a conveyor belt. Prices range from 150 yen (tax included) per plate. - Limited time offer from April 5 to 16: "Sawara aburi," "Kensaki ika mentaiko," "Buri no zuke," "Tennen salmon basil lemon," "Nanban zangi," and "Nihonshu Nihon mori karakuchi namachozoshu (Hyogo)." - They have a smartphone app for reservations. If you don't have a reservation, you can use the machine at the entrance to get a seat number. Orders are placed through a tablet system, and the dishes are brought to your table on the conveyor belt. Payment is made by scanning the QR code on the seat number paper at the self-checkout. - Sushiro is managed by Akindo Sushiro Co., Ltd., with Shin Kyonosuke as the president. Established in 1984 by a former Taisho sushi chef in Abeno, Osaka. In 2021, the company changed its name to Food & Life Companies under Yoshinoya Holdings, acquiring Kyoto Taru as a subsidiary. They have 642 stores nationwide, with plans to expand to all prefectures by 2023. They also have stores in South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. - Sushiro offers a conveyor belt sushi style where you place the toppings on the rice yourself. It's a budget-friendly option popular with families, so expect a lively atmosphere. While it wasn't very tasty in the past, collaborations with renowned chefs have improved the quality. The in-house prepared dishes are particularly good in terms of taste and value. From April 5 to 16, they are serving sushi rice with red vinegar, offering a rounder, milder flavor compared to their usual rice.

Located in Tokyo, Kichijoji. 8th floor of Kichijoji Parco. I wanted to eat conveyor belt sushi so I visited here. I've been to most of the conveyor belt sushi places in Kichijoji. There were people waiting at 5:30 pm on Sunday, but since I was dining alone, I was seated immediately at the counter. I made a reservation on my smartphone and when I checked in and scanned the QR code, my seat number was displayed. There was no specific guidance on where to sit, so it was a self-seating system. Each seat had a tablet for ordering. The conveyor belt had two lanes, one for rotating dishes (which had very few plates) and the other for ordered dishes. I ordered a draft beer for 640 yen, which was small and took a while to arrive. I knew they had raised prices, but was surprised to see the minimum price go from 100 yen to 150 yen. I did some research and found out that there are three price levels at Sushiro, depending on the store. This particular store had increased prices from 132 yen to 150 yen. I ordered various dishes which totaled 1680 yen. The quality was slightly better than other Sushiro locations, but still average. The fish was properly thawed, which was a plus. However, due to the higher prices, I limited my order. On my way back, I was tempted by the 290 yen draft beer at Hidakaya. Self-checkout was available, but I noticed that credit cards could only be used at one specific register. Overall, the lack of interaction with the staff, combined with the location and pricing, made my experience at this less crowded Sushiro less satisfying. Thank you for the meal.

The popular "Earth Gummy" for children is impossible to catch at all. Even though they do it every week in the basement of Nakano Broadway, I have never been able to catch one. Frustrated, I was trying to win one for my daughter on the UFO catcher, when unexpectedly I ran into the familiar barber shop owner bringing children. He told me about a new arcade in front of Kichijoji station where you can easily win prizes, so we went there and indeed, we were able to catch lots of prizes. On our way back, we stopped at a sushi restaurant and tried the delicious Fukahire from Kesennuma and the collaboration sushi roll from Ichirin, both of which were amazing. But what really impressed me was the "Tamakue." It was so good, with rich flavor and perfect balance of fat and umami. I couldn't help but go for a second helping. The Tamakue is a farmed fish made by combining "Tama Kai" and "Kue," and it was truly delicious. And all this for only 300 yen for 2 pieces. Sushiro, you're going to go out of business (laughs).

Kichijoji Parco 8th floor's Sushiro is always bustling. The prices here are 20 yen more per plate compared to suburban stores. Today, I came to try the "Whole Live Abalone" that I saw on a flyer for a campaign. It's my afternoon snack, so I ordered five items: Highball, Whole Live Abalone, Rare Shabu of Otoro, Natural Indian Tuna Chutoro with premium seaweed, and Bigfin Reef Squid. The abalone was as advertised - it moved when lemon was squeezed on it, and it tasted delicious without any unpleasant seaweed smell. The Otoro was a bit lacking in terms of value and taste. The premium seaweed was crispy but lacked a distinct flavor. The Bigfin Reef Squid was tasty, but it was too chewy. It would have been better if it had been sliced more thinly.

The PayPay point reduction for Softbank users seemed to have caused a big crowd. I had to wait but eventually got in. I tried the Ebi Avocado Roll, which was quite good. It had a good amount of filling with shrimp tempura inside for flavoring. The shrimp wasn't very big, but it tasted delicious. It was also quite filling. Overall, it was a good experience at Sushiro.

I went to the "Torotoro Ooichi" and "Ootoro Half-Price Fair" because they were overlapping. It was easy to get in during weekday teatime. The ootoro was delicious! They also had a fair with big red clams and turban shells, so I ate a lot.

I recently visited a popular revolving sushi restaurant that opened in Kichijoji. I went for lunch alone and sat at the counter. I ordered the Seafood Explosion Mountain for 550 yen and the Super Thick Medium Fatty Tuna for 170 yen, which are part of the current campaign. Finally, I got used to the touch panel. It's totally fine to eat alone. The Seafood Explosion Mountain was packed with shrimp, crab, scallops, tuna, salmon, negitoro, ikura, tobiko, and more. It felt like a small seafood bowl. There were many delicious toppings, but I'm not a big fan of negitoro, so I felt like it was a bit expensive for 550 yen. I wish there were more reasonable options with smaller portions. The Super Thick Medium Fatty Tuna was really thick and delicious. It was impressive. Since I still had room in my stomach, I also ordered the Red Snapper Ramen for 350 yen. It was delicious, with a flavorful soup that had a strong red snapper taste. The noodles were straight and thick, and it came with fresh red snapper, seaweed, and green onions. It was simple but I really liked it. I finished everything. Sushiro is amazing.

A new Sushiro has opened in Kichijoji, on the 8th floor of Parco. I decided to visit for lunch and tried the Indian tuna comparison set and the spicy Chinese sauce sushi. The sushi was well-made even though it's a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The Indian tuna was fresh and delicious, especially the akami and chutoro. The wasabi served on the side was a nice touch. The sushi with the spicy sauce was not as spicy as expected, but the quality of the toppings was great. The toppings were fresh and tasty, with the red shrimp and seared scallop standing out. The udon I ordered unexpectedly turned out to be delicious, with plenty of clams in a flavorful broth. Overall, I left the restaurant satisfied with a full stomach. The menu changes with the seasons, so I look forward to visiting again. It's convenient to have a Sushiro within walking distance.

When it comes to Kichijoji, it is known as a city for young people, but surprisingly there were no major conveyor belt sushi chain stores. However, last year, Sushiro and Kura Sushi opened up! Sushiro even opened inside Kichijoji Parco! It feels somewhat nostalgic. It's been a while since they opened, but I finally went there. Sushiro is located on the 8th floor of Kichijoji Parco. You can reserve a seat through the app and check in, and they will automatically guide you to your seat. You can order using the touch panel, and the items you order will be brought to your seat on a dedicated lane. The restaurant is surprisingly spacious, with 216 seats. It's quite a large store. However, the counter seats seem a bit cramped, so if possible, I recommend the table seats. Since it's a city store, the cheapest sushi is 120 yen. It's also conveniently close to the station, so I will definitely use this place again! Next time, I'll make a reservation through the app again.

Kura Sushi and Sushiro opened almost simultaneously in front of Kichijoji Station, suddenly increasing the number of conveyor belt sushi chains. A little while ago (more than a year ago?), a urban-type Sushiro also opened in Ogikubo, but this one is also a urban-type store on top of Parco. Urban-type stores are slightly more expensive than regular Sushiro. Checked in advance with the app before entering. Since I was dining alone, I chose the counter and was seated immediately. However, the distance between the seats was too close and uncomfortable... Even though there is an acrylic board separating them, isn't it too close? It feels like our elbows might touch, and we have to share things like powdered green tea with the person next to us... If you go, I think it's better to wait a bit and choose a table.

On top of Parco. I didn't really go to conveyor belt sushi restaurants much as an adult, but now that I have a child, I feel like there's nothing more convenient. The taste is just like any other conveyor belt sushi place. [Baby chair] Available. The seating is box type, so even if you don't rent one, you won't bother others around you. There are a lot of families with children, and the sound of the touch panel makes the whole restaurant lively, so you don't have to worry if your child is making noise! Important. [Kids menu] French fries, tamagoyaki, ramen. The ramen is too salty for children, so I diluted it with water. When seated by the sushi lane, I get nervous because my child reaches for the hot water supply or tries to grab the sushi or soy sauce. It can be a bit tough. However, the box seats allow you to relax even if your child is noisy, so it's really nice. The seats at conveyor belt sushi restaurants have high backrests and partitions between neighboring seats. So you can spend time as if you were in a private room. By the way, there is also a Kura Sushi in Kichijoji, but I think Sushiro is still tastier. Oh, but Kura Sushi had udon that wasn't too salty.

The system of conveyor belt sushi was a bit confusing for me as an older woman, but my daughters took me there the other day and I gained confidence to try it out on my own. I was very satisfied with the quality of food for the price. Besides sushi, they also serve delicious ramen and other dishes. It was a fun and enjoyable restaurant experience.

Various cashless payment methods are accepted. During the summer vacation on a Sunday around 11:30 am, we visited without a reservation and there was a wait of about 10 minutes for 2 people at the counter seats.
