The thick and juicy chicken thigh meat has a great texture. The sauce is spicy and goes well with alcohol. - Black sesame tantan noodles Rice and pickles come with the noodles, which is a nice touch. The soup and noodles are plentiful. The soup is extremely rich and delicious. The noodles are well coated in the soup. It is one of the most rich and flavorful tantan noodles I've had! The strong sesame flavor and the plentiful toppings make it very satisfying. The soup also has tender char siu which is a nice surprise. The black sesame flavor is mild but with a strong kick of spiciness, creating a perfect balance. The owner is dandy, bright, and welcoming. The long business hours from 11:00 to 18:00 and 21:00 to 27:00 are convenient. It seems like a great place for a meal or a quick drink.

I'm sorry for the halfway eaten photo. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much. It's a tantanmen shop, but I ordered the abura soba... But you know, as soon as I took a bite, I was like "Oh, this is seriously delicious!" The taste of beef bone is so light and different from any abura soba I've had before! And the topping of wood ear mushrooms is also great! I will definitely come back!

Order details: Black sesame tantan noodles 950 yen * Set with black sesame tantan noodles, rice, and simmered daikon? The black sesame tantan noodles are a rich and spicy dish based on beef bone soup. The noodles were ordinary Chinese noodles. The ingredients included ground pork, menma, wood ear mushrooms, and greens. The taste was quite salty, but it was delicious when I put rice in the remaining soup. Inside the shop, there were various ornaments and tableware displayed on the upper counter, making it difficult to use the upper counter and see the kitchen. Perhaps a layout with a more hygienic display would attract more customers. Also, the menu on the ticket machine mentioned rice with pickled vegetables, but instead of pickled vegetables, it was simmered daikon? This was a bit concerning as the impression of having pickled vegetables versus simmered daikon as a side dish for tantan noodles is quite different. It might be better to provide the product as indicated on the menu for a better impression. This is a tantan noodle shop near the Oyama Nishimachi intersection in Oyama.

The tantan noodles here are not your usual kind, so I wouldn't recommend it to those who just want to eat regular delicious tantan noodles. The tantan noodles here have a spicy, unique taste with a base of beef bone, so if you're looking for something different, this is the place to go. When you order, the soup is scooped out and classical music plays in your head. What I'm trying to say is that you can experience a complex taste (sound) concerto. And because the base is beef bone, it feels elegant. It's a bit far from the station, but I definitely want to visit again. (//∇//)

I have visited this place a few times because I love their beef bone salt ramen, but this time I decided to try their tantanmen. I went with a friend, and I chose the white sesame tantanmen while my friend chose the black sesame tantanmen. The white sesame tantanmen had a creamy and gentle flavor with a hint of sesame sweetness. When I tried a bit of the black sesame tantanmen from my friend, I found it to have a different but equally delicious creamy broth. Both tantanmen dishes were of high quality. Even though I usually come here for their beef bone salt ramen, I think I will become a regular for their tantanmen as well. The set came with rice and pickled vegetables for only 950 yen, which is quite reasonable considering the taste and portion size. They also have other menu items priced below 1000 yen and appetizers below 500 yen. The price of drinks like highballs is also affordable at 450 yen, making it a place where you can easily visit without breaking the bank.

The seating is around 7-8 seats at the counter. - Black Sesame Tan Tan Men: It was my first time trying black sesame tan tan men, and the richness of the black sesame was delicious! It's not the spicy kind, but a classic tan tan men. You can also change the flavor with the table-side sansho pepper and red pepper. As I enjoyed the taste of the tan tan soup, I realized how delicious the base soup was. I asked about the broth, and they mentioned it contains shark fin and small shrimp. - Gyoza: The size is a bit small, making it easy to snack on while drinking beer. The taste had a hint of sweetness. - Shumai: It exceeded my expectations! It was very delicious, not inferior to famous restaurants. The size was large and filled with juicy meat. They mentioned everything is handmade. I highly recommend this dish as well. The manager was friendly, and it's understandable why the restaurant gets crowded. It's a place where you can enjoy drinking alcohol. Next time, I want to try it with salt instead of tan tan. Thank you for the meal.

On April 3, 2023, I visited Ushimaru Tantanmen Club in Oyama Station, Tokyo for the first time. I was surprised to see that they had Shaoxing wine available, so I couldn't resist ordering my favorite Shaoxing wine. I decided to pair it with their Tantanmen. The Shaoxing wine they offered was Shaoxing Kishu Sake aged for five years. I chose to have it straight. The combination of the aged wine with the Tantanmen was excellent. The wine had a balanced acidity and smooth umami flavor. The acidity of the tomatoes and the rich flavor of the Tantanmen blended perfectly. It felt like trying curry ramen for the first time. The noodles were medium-thin and the meal included a seasoned egg, rice, and pickles, all for a reasonable price of 700 yen. With the influence of advisor Sho, the third disciple of Chen Jianmin, I have high expectations for their other menu items. Thank you for the delicious meal!
