There are rarely any movie theaters as empty as this one, often having it all to myself on weekdays. I prefer watching the same movie in IMAX if possible. Even though this IMAX is not as good as the ones in Ikebukuro or Hibiya, it's still IMAX. Drinking iced coffee in IMAX makes it taste better.

There is a 109 Cinemas about a 5-minute walk towards Tatsumi from Kiba Station. This time, the menu has changed, with three drinks using apples. In addition to the original fried chicken set, there are now potato sets and pizza sets available. I ordered the fried chicken set with iced tea and half & half popcorn. They also have a variety of Blue Seal ice cream flavors available.

It's a fairly empty and nice movie theater, but the food is distributed by Toho Cinemas. The food counter doesn't have long lines even on holidays. In my experience, you can still buy food even at the last minute, unless it's a very popular movie being shown. [Purchased items] Popcorn set (beer + half and half popcorn) ¥1000. I came to 109 Cinemas in Ito Yokado, right near Kiba Station, to watch a movie after a long time. Here, you can enjoy various flavors of Blue Seal ice cream (about 10 kinds, I think). I couldn't decide between salted popcorn and caramel for the movie, so I got two medium sizes of each! The sweet and crunchy caramel, along with the salty taste of the popcorn, made the movie even more enjoyable!

When walking from Kiba Station towards Tatsumi, there is a 109 Cinemas located inside Ito Yokado. I had plans with an acquaintance in Kiba and we watched a movie before heading home. They offer popcorn, hot dogs, fried chicken, and Churritos there. The ice cream was from Blue Seal! I waited about 4 minutes for the Churritos. They were hot and delicious when freshly made!

I watched "Love" by Blue Seal with double vanilla and chocolate ♥♥ at IMAX. The overwhelming visual beauty and powerful sound were amazing! ♥(о´∀`о)ノ

As a father of a daughter, there are two things I must be prepared for: the fact that she will eventually get married and the need to participate in activities she enjoys, even if I'm not interested. Today is Culture Day, a national holiday. I decided to take my daughter to a Pretty Cure cosplay studio. We woke up early and headed there, but the wait was long. I suggested watching a movie while waiting, but she declined. So, we ended up just buying drinks at the movie theater. I tried to order a Hazelnut Caramel Latte for a little luxury, but they brought me a regular Caramel Latte instead. It felt like we were both rejected, not just my daughter. It may not be Instagram-worthy, but it was delicious! My daughter bought a reusable Pretty Cure juice container for 900 yen and a mini towel, and we headed to the cosplay studio.

It's 5:00 pm on a holiday. After finishing up some errands with my child, we were heading back home towards Chiba on the Tozai Line when we decided to watch a movie for the first time in a while. I used my smartphone to look up the nearest movie theater, bought our seats, and it's amazing how convenient things have become nowadays. The Ito-Yokado Kiba store where the movie theater is located was all dressed up for summer with bon odori dancing. For the movie viewing, we got the W Combo Set (1150 yen) which included popcorn and drinks for two. While there are no specific comparisons made, popcorn really does go well with movies, doesn't it?

I enjoyed a delicious Neapolitan ice cream with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry flavors at Blue Seal. Today was "109 Cinemas Member Appreciation Day," so I got to watch a movie in IMAX 3D for only 1900 yen. The animals in the movie, such as koalas, pigs, hedgehogs, gorillas, and elephants, were so cute. I also watched "La La Land" for the second time in IMAX for 1500 yen. Even on the second viewing, Emma Stone's singing and the ending made me cry.

The place is divided into a restaurant area called Gatheria, a sports gym called Tipness, and a department store called Ito Yokado, where the movie theater is located. I decided to watch a movie because I saw a poster of a movie featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger at Ito Yokado. Of course, popcorn is a must when watching a movie! The popcorn here is simple, with two flavors - sweet and salty. I enjoyed watching "Terminator: Genisys" while eating popcorn. Arnold Schwarzenegger's movies are always great. He is a legend in the bodybuilding world, having won Mr. Olympia seven times. Eating popcorn while watching a movie is delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Prices range from 350 yen for a small size, 420 yen for a medium size, to 550 yen for a large size. You can also get a half-and-half option with two flavors. During the screening of Doraemon movies, they sold popcorn in Doraemon-themed boxes for 950 yen, with free refills on the same day. Other items available include Churritos (300 yen), hot dogs (350 yen), ice cream crepe sticks (300 yen), and various drinks. The hot dogs are lightly toasted and the frankfurter is boiled, but grilling it would enhance the flavor. You can add ketchup and mustard to your liking. Churritos come in cinnamon and chocolate flavors, with the chocolate option being purchased due to cinnamon being sold out. Churritos are like hard donut sticks, reminiscent of churros from Tokyo Disneyland. Despite being a sweet treat, the crunchy texture is surprisingly addictive. I didn't eat popcorn this time since I didn't watch a movie while eating. It's common sense not to eat or drink loudly during a movie to consider others around you.

109 Cinemas was my first time using it. The movie theater itself was clean and impressive. I ordered a popcorn set at the concession stand, which was a pretty standard order, but... haha. However, when compared to TOHO Cinemas, I think they are better. At TOHO Cinemas, they put butter on the popcorn for you. At 109, there is no butter service. Just that alone made me realize how happy I was. Thank you for the meal! Phew~.
