I wandered around a local town doing hitappashi and found a coffee shop in a housing complex that seems to be a recent trend. Surprisingly, there are various types of spaghetti, pilaf, and doria on the menu. The set meals are also quite varied and reasonably priced, ranging from 600 yen. The salad dressing is sesame dressing and the napoletana spaghetti comes with salad. The portion size is decent and the taste is satisfactory. If I come back next time, I would like to try the pork ginger. Thank you for the meal.

First time visiting. I had the large portion of the daily special lunch. The amount of rice was generous and it was delicious‼️

Koshaheim Mori Higashi is a café located in a small shopping area on the first floor of a public housing complex. I was drawn in by the nostalgic atmosphere. I visited after 1 pm and saw many people who work nearby coming in. The "Today's Lunch" options are reasonably priced, starting from the 600 yen range. I chose the B Lunch which was a generous serving of Napolitan with salad for 600 yen plus 150 yen. The Napolitan was delicious with plenty of bacon. It seems to be a popular choice, and I can see why. I also had their fried rice before, which was also tasty. It's a good restaurant, but please note that smoking is allowed throughout the establishment. Thank you for the meal.

In the past, there used to be various shops like a vegetable store, a butcher, and a cafe in one corner of the public housing complex during the Showa era. However, they have become rare due to supermarkets and convenience stores taking over. But in the Daikoku Higashi 1-chome public housing area, there is a bright and lively dining cafe called HABO's, which is popular among locals. Run by a husband and wife, this place offers a chaotic mix of dishes reminiscent of its former fishing town roots. They serve a variety of appetizers using ingredients like clams and raw whitebait sourced from relatives. Although they were closed today being Sunday, the place was bustling with a nearby baseball team's post-game or practice party. I had lunch there and tried the "Countryside Perilla Pilaf," which was a unique dish with perilla seeds and pickled radish. It was delicious and filling. I also ordered the Pork Ginger, which was a thick and tender pork belly coated in a sweet sauce, served with onions and bean sprouts. The salad and miso soup were also delightful. From sashimi to Western dishes, they offer a wide range of options. This charming restaurant, filled with local smiles, is a wonderful place to relax.

A cafe located in the middle of a housing complex. However, the food here is surprisingly delicious! They offer a variety of Western and Japanese dishes, as well as snacks to go with drinks. It may seem intimidating to enter as it seems like a gathering place for locals, but once you muster up the courage to go in, you'll realize it was all unnecessary worry.
