I usually can't have lunch outside, so I'm always happy to have a weekday lunch outside. I decided to try Eiri, a restaurant that caught my eye with its new red sign. The place seemed busy, with many customers. It was around 1pm, and the restaurant was almost full. They had a variety of lunch options, but I chose the green vegetable and egg fried rice. It came with salad, soup, and almond jelly for 650 yen. The fried rice was lightly seasoned and tasty, and the almond jelly for dessert was a nice bonus. The service was good, with three staff members who all seemed to be Chinese. The restaurant was crowded with office workers and construction workers during lunchtime. Despite being busy, the service was efficient. I felt satisfied with the meal at this price. If you go with a friend and order the weekly special and fried rice, you could have a luxurious lunch.

We came with 6 people (including 1 child) to the Meguro festival around 8 pm. We ordered Ja Ja Men, Char Siu Lettuce Fried Rice, Hot and Sour Soup, Spicy Zasai Salad, Shrimp Mayonnaise, Sliced Sweet and Sour Pork, Sichuan-style Stir-fried Pork, Chicken and Cashew Nuts Stir-fry, and Cantonese Noodles. Among these, the recommended dishes for a repeat order would be the Spicy Zasai Salad, Shrimp Mayonnaise, Sliced Sweet and Sour Pork, Ja Ja Men, and Cantonese Noodles. The Spicy Zasai Salad was a great value at around 370 yen with a generous portion and goes well with cilantro. The Shrimp Mayonnaise is a favorite with its delicious flavor. The Sliced Sweet and Sour Pork is a classic dish that everyone loves with its sweet taste. Ja Ja Men was ordered for the first time, and it tastes great with added chili oil. The Cantonese Noodles were also a first, and the soup was delicious. There were about 5 quail eggs, which was too many. The dish we wouldn't reorder is the Chicken and Cashew Nuts Stir-fry because it needs to be sweeter and had too much chicken. The Hot and Sour Soup lacked vinegar and spiciness but could be improved by adding more vinegar and chili oil. The Char Siu Lettuce Fried Rice had large pieces of meat that were a bit overwhelming. We received almond jelly for free for everyone through the Tabelog service, which was better than before but could use more syrup for juiciness. Overall, we ordered slightly more than needed for the number of people but almost finished everything, and everyone was full. Thank you for the meal.

Lunch: It was very hot and I didn't feel like going far, so I decided to eat at the Chinese restaurant next to the station. Ordered: Tan Tan Men set for 980 yen. Didn't have high expectations and waited for about 10 minutes while cooling off. Since it was a set, it came with salad, rice, and almond jelly. Taste: Surprisingly authentic, the Tan Tan Men was not too spicy and had a Japanese touch with black sesame. After finishing the noodles, I ate the rice with the soup. The almond jelly and salad felt like they were just included as extras. The Tan Tan Men was even more delicious than I expected. Thank you for the meal.

Visit on August 20, 2023. This is one of the branch restaurants of a Chinese restaurant with its main store in Ikebukuro. In addition to the main store in Ikebukuro, there is also a Nishiguchi store, but surprisingly there are three branch stores in Toyosu. I visited the largest station front store among them. It's still before noon, but it's about half full. The hot and humid weather made me crave something cold, so I decided to go for the oyster sauce yakisoba. The menu selection is incredibly wide, ranging from daily lunch specials to weekly specials. The pork oyster sauce yakisoba costs 1,000 yen and was served in about 5 minutes. It comes with soup, salad, and almond jelly for dessert. The yakisoba noodles are a bit chewy, but perhaps this is how hand-made noodles from the northeastern region of China are supposed to be. The pork and vegetables like cabbage are finely and delicately cut in shapes similar to the noodles, following the basics of Chinese cuisine. You can tell that a very faithful and meticulous job has been done. The tomato soup with a slight sourness is a rare accompaniment for lunch. For 1,000 yen, I am very satisfied with this meal.

I used it for lunch on a regular day. It was scorching hot outside, so I had cold tantan noodles. The lunch was crowded, so I was seated at a shared table for 6 people. Everyone does it, so I didn't feel awkward. The photo looks piled up, but there is ice underneath. Still, there is a lot of noodles. It would be nice to have more vegetables for middle-aged people. But in summer, cold tantan noodles are the best. I slurped it up in one go.

While feeling nostalgic for the restaurant in Ikebukuro, I discovered that it had multiplied in Toyosu. I had to go! So, a few of us visited. We enjoyed delicious dishes in the bright interior. The gyoza was great, and the cold and hot dishes made with potatoes and tofu were delicious.

This is a Chinese restaurant located on the first floor of the twin towers where NTT Data is located at Toyosu Station. I don't remember going there once in the past. There are also soba shops, CoCo Ichibanya, First Kitchen, etc. I felt like this was the only place where you could eat a set meal, so I decided to eat here. When I entered, I was pushed into a room for groups in the back. I think the daily special was a Chinese bowl, so I decided on fried rice. [Food] The fried rice has a slightly oily taste, but the saltiness is not strong and has an elegant flavor. However, the portion is amazing. They said you could also get a large serving, but I wonder if the plate would be different? The soup that came with it is okay for this price. I felt the salad was a bit dry. [Interior] The overall interior is red, which also gives that impression. It feels clean overall. [Service] The speed of serving is fast. [Overall] I didn't feel like I wanted to eat here again, but considering that you can get full for 880 yen, it seems like a good place for lunch.

After leaving Toyoshi and before heading to the second place, three middle-aged men decided to watch the Sumida River fireworks together. After wandering around for about 30-40 minutes, they couldn't find a good spot to view the fireworks due to the lingering heat. They gave up on watching the fireworks and decided to seek some coolness by entering the Eri Toyosu Ekimae store. They were delighted to see bottles of Hoppy in the refrigerated case at the entrance. They ordered Hoppy White Set (605 yen) and made a toast. They enjoyed dishes like Clam and Green Onion Yakisoba (1122 yen), Spicy Cold Dish with Dried Tofu and Long Green Onion (682 yen), Nira and Egg-filled Baked Buns (2 pieces for 627 yen), and Green Chili Pepper and Dried Tofu Stir-fry (1177 yen). The dried tofu in the stir-fry was different from the noodle-like dried tofu, with a strong flavor. They had 6 refills of Hoppy Nakadare (297 yen) and drank for nearly 3 hours before paying the bill. They all agreed that Chinese food is great. Thank you for the meal.

We drank at a bar near Toyosu Station and then headed to the next shop. But before that... it was the day of the "Sumida River Fireworks Festival," which hadn't been held in 4 years. We thought, "Maybe we can see the fireworks from Toyosu!" So we used the map on our phone to head towards the downstream of the Sumida River. It took us 15 minutes to walk there, and we ended up at a huge apartment building. There was a slightly elevated entrance to the building, so we looked towards Asakusa and could see some fireworks! However, we could only see about the top 20% and they were very small (see the last photo - the tiny speck in the middle is the Sumida River fireworks). It wasn't very exciting, so we just went back to Toyosu Station. - China Northeastern Home Village Cuisine Eiri Toyosu Station Front Store Located about 20 seconds dash from Toyosu Station, this is an authentic Chinese restaurant. When we looked at the menu, we saw they had Hoppy beer. Cheers with Hoppy~! Ah, Hoppy is really tasty. - Salted Peanuts ¥528 A favorite of people from Shizuoka. Even though it's not the peanut-producing region, people from Shizuoka (maybe just in the eastern part?) have a custom of eating boiled peanuts. I wonder what the roots of this tradition are. - Fried Bread with Chives and Eggs (2 pieces) ¥627 Oh, Fried Bread with Chives is rare. Since it's a Chinese restaurant, it might be like a spring roll with chives and eggs inside. - Spicy Cold Dish with Dried Tofu and Green Onions ¥682 I like the texture of dried tofu, it's healthy and pairs well with green onions. - Clam and Green Onion Yakisoba ¥1122 The chewy flat noodles are a distinctive feature. The salt-flavored yakisoba is simple yet flavorful, bringing out the taste of the ingredients. - Stir-fried Green Chili Pepper and Dried Tofu ¥1177 We ordered this dish again because the dried tofu was so delicious. Dried tofu is like thinly shaved dried cotton tofu? The dried tofu with a wide cut has a wonderful texture. The spicy green chili pepper pairs well with it, adding depth to the spiciness. All the dishes had an authentic Chinese flavor, and we thought it was a good restaurant (except for the service). A group of beautiful women who looked like models sat at the next table. One of our group members seemed to be quite popular with the beautiful women, but I wonder what they talked about? When I got back home that day, my family was all there. My daughter asked, "Where did you go?" and I said, "We went to see the Sumida River fireworks festival." It's not entirely wrong (I think). Lunch was packed with salarymen lol. [Menu] Lunch Menu: Fried Rice Set - Spicy Beef Belly Fried Rice Today's soup, salad, and dessert included. I ordered the Spicy Beef Belly Fried Rice lunch set! It's a great deal with soup, salad, and dessert included. The fried rice is very voluminous and goes well with the beef belly. The rice is fluffy and surprisingly delicious! The cost performance is also good, so it's no wonder it's popular. Thank you for the meal!✨. Thank you for reading the review until the end! I hope it can be a starting point for your search for delicious food. If you like it, please leave a like or a comment as it will be encouraging. I will continue to strive for reviews that are helpful, so I appreciate your support! Thank you.

I had lunch on a regular day. I ordered fried rice set and cold tan-tan noodles. The fried rice came quickly, but I had to wait a bit for the cold tan-tan noodles. Personally, I didn't really like the taste. Maybe it's not catering to Japanese people. The portion size was large.

I wanted to eat Hiyashi Chuka, but it wasn't available for lunch. I ordered the Spicy Beef Fried Rice instead. It wasn't very spicy, but still delicious. The shredded cabbage and thick soup were also tasty.

I had plans to visit an exhibition at Tokyo Big Sight in the afternoon. I was supposed to transfer at Toyosu and take the Yurikamome train. For lunch, I decided to try this restaurant. I have seen the name "Eiri" in a few different locations before. It seems to be a franchise, and this particular one was a Sichuan cuisine restaurant run by Chinese owners. They had several lunch options available. My colleague, H, who had recently joined the company, chose the daily lunch set for 880 yen, while I hesitated and ended up ordering the Sichuan Dan Dan noodles set for 980 yen. I regretted not going with the daily special when I saw it arrive after a 15-minute wait. It consisted of eggplant stir-fry and mapo tofu, which looked really delicious. I realized that the daily special comes with mapo tofu. Sometimes it's hard to understand the contents of the daily special at places like this, and I find it too troublesome to ask. A few minutes later, my Dan Dan noodles set arrived. The Sichuan Dan Dan noodles had a rich flavor, spiciness, and a slight numbing sensation, and they were really tasty. It also came with a salad, which was a nice touch. The almond jelly dessert was also delicious. I always think that you can tell if a Chinese-owned restaurant is good by their desserts. A good restaurant won't skimp on the dessert. H, who had the daily special, is quite slim. It seems he has a small appetite. And he left such a delicious looking mapo tofu untouched. I felt like crying inside. I didn't point it out, but it's disrespectful to the chef. Back when I was a rookie, a senior told me, "Don't trust someone who can't finish their food," so I made sure to finish my meals. Eventually, I earned the nickname "Calorie." In the end, I paid for both of our meals. H thanked me properly, but next time I take him out, I might choose a more modest place where he can finish his food. Maybe a family restaurant or a chain where he can eat what he likes would be better.

I always enjoy going to have lunch here. When it comes to Chinese Northeastern cuisine, Yongli is the place to go. It truly has the authentic flavors of China. Especially the pickled vegetable dishes are hard to find elsewhere. When I go for lunch, I usually have the daily special set meal, which is also really delicious. This June, they introduced chilled tantan noodles, and I tried it for the first time. First, I was surprised by the portion size. And when I took a bite, I couldn't help but exclaim "Delicious!" It was so tasty with the combination of meat miso, noodles, bean sprouts, cucumber all mixed together, topped with peanuts (I think) instead of pine nuts, and cilantro. The peanuts added a great accent, and it's addictively good. Highly recommended.

Ikebukuro seems to be the main branch, but there are three stores in Toyosu, so those who live or work in Toyosu know about it! It's cheap, delicious, and always crowded. Their pepper stir-fry is highly recommended, with various types available. This time, I didn't order the pepper stir-fry, but the food was consistently delicious! If you happen to visit Toyosu, I think it's a great place to visit.

I went to Eri Toyosu Station Front Store. I ordered a soy sauce ramen set for 800 yen and my companion ordered a clam miso ramen set for 900 yen. The restaurant was crowded but the service was fast. I took a sip of the soup right away. Hmm, it's a bit bland and unsatisfying. The medium-thick noodles had a powdery texture. Both the soup and noodles seemed somewhat like instant ramen. The chashu was tough and lacked flavor. My companion's miso ramen was also bland, with no noticeable clam broth flavor, tasting more like miso soup. I've been to Eri a few times before and it seemed tastier. I probably won't eat noodles here again. It seems like the quality has dropped to avoid significant price increases.

I went around 1pm on Sunday and there was a line, but only two groups were ahead of me. I waited for about 15 minutes before being seated. I ordered the lunch set with mixed vegetables for 1000 yen. For just 1000 yen, I got a generous portion of mixed vegetables, mapo tofu, a large serving of rice, egg soup, pickles, and almond jelly. It was a great deal and very delicious!

I went out for lunch after a long time. I ordered the Wednesday special, which was bone-in chicken similar to oily chicken. The side dish of mapo tofu was spicier than before, but it went well with the rice. The dessert of sticky almond tofu was as delicious as ever, and I was satisfied.

I stopped by for lunch and ordered the seafood yakisoba with a side of extra rice from the lunch menu. It was served after a short wait. In the past, the restaurant had a reputation for large portions, but this time the serving size was quite normal, not too small but just right. The yakisoba, flavored with plenty of garlic, was fairly tasty. In the past, I felt that everything I tried had a somewhat flat taste, but this time I was satisfied.

During the Golden Week period, it was easy to get a seat for lunch due to the surrounding business offices being closed. However, the restaurant was almost full. I ordered the hot and sour soup noodles lunch set. Just like the shop in Ikebukuro, the portion size was generous. The price was the same, but skipping the half portion of rice was the right choice. For those with a big appetite, I recommend adding the rice into the soup at the end to eat heartily. The spiciness and sourness were perfect for warming up the body, and the almond jelly dessert was just right. The Tsukiji branch of the restaurant also offers great value for money. Thank you for the meal.

The portion size has decreased compared to before, making it easier to finish. This restaurant used to be popular for its volume and taste before COVID, but now the volume has decreased while the prices have gone up. Despite this, the place seems to have stabilized. The fried rice was satisfying as always! I love the soup that you can get refills of on Fridays.
