It's like a deli on the street, but with a slightly solemn impression. They sell various side dishes and fried foods by weight. Kinpira burdock is 240 yen including tax for 100g. The burdock is a bit thicker than usual, giving it a satisfying texture. The seasoning is good too, and overall it gives the impression of high-quality Japanese side dishes.

I often walk around Ekoda because I have a favorite bakery there. Today, I decided to stop by a shop I've passed by many times and purchased 100 grams of "Banri flavor" pickled vegetables for 220 yen. The pickled vegetables have a spicy flavor with a hint of chili pepper. They are stir-fried in sesame oil, giving off a nice aroma. The seasoning is well-balanced, perfect for eating a little at a time with rice. There were about 10 to 15 varieties of side dishes (mostly Japanese-style) displayed in the showcase. You choose the items and the staff weigh them for you. They also have authentic pickles that I would like to try. I definitely want to visit again. ^^

Seibu Ikebukuro Line: This is a delicatessen shop located within the Egotanda Market on the north side of Egota Station. When I glanced at the storefront, I couldn't resist buying a whole piece of "Fresh Zasai," a lightly pickled Zasai vegetable immersed in a clear pickling liquid, emitting a nice green color. It was 200 yen for 100g or 160 yen for one piece. I sliced it at home and found it to have a strong salty taste with a refreshing flavor, perfect for a snack. The shop is run by several elderly gentlemen, offering a variety of deli items such as oden ingredients and simmered dishes sold by weight. It may not have a wide selection, but it is quite popular with customers. If you're interested, please check it out here... http://blog.livedoor.jp/d52001037/

In a shopping street at the north exit of Ekoda Station, there is a delicatessen shop. They sell pickles, fried foods, simmered dishes, and even fish fillets. I bought a potato croquette for dinner. It was a big croquette priced at 160 yen each. Although it had a self-service feel, when I told the staff, they packed it for me. The aroma of the fried oil was appetizing. The potato croquette was slightly seasoned and delicious. It was a popular shop with locals coming on foot or by bicycle one after another.

I visited a shop in the shopping street at the north exit of Ekoda Station. They mainly sell pickles and simmered dishes, with a limited variety of fried foods. This time, I tried the "Oyster Fry". The oysters were large and surprisingly juicy, with a crispy coating.
