This is a yakitori restaurant located near the Tonokawa River. Despite being a very old establishment, it always seems to be bustling, so I was curious and finally got a chance to visit! The interior of the restaurant is surprisingly spacious, with a counter seating for about 10 people and additional table seating in the back. They seem to take good care of the smoke from the yakitori, as there were proper smoke control measures around the grills. The main attraction here is definitely the prices. A beer costs 500 yen for a mug, which is normal, but the surprising part is that sake is only 200 yen. Of course, it's probably cheap sake, but still, 200 yen for sake is quite rare. This is fantastic. As for the yakitori, each skewer costs around 80 yen. In addition to the usual Negima, skin, tsukune, and liver, they also offer rare cuts like gizzard, heart, tail, and tongue. I've heard that there are many affordable and fresh options in this area due to the nearby slaughterhouses, and this restaurant serves delicious yakitori at a reasonable price. It's true that busy restaurants offer affordable and tasty dishes. I definitely want to go back again.
