It's about a 1-minute walk from Nogata Station South Exit. I felt like eating meat, so I visited here, which I had been curious about for a while. I arrived around 8:00 pm on a weekday without a reservation, but I was able to sit down easily. The interior seemed to have been renovated and it was clean and had a sense of cleanliness. There are table seats and raised seats. This time, I ordered the following: "Premium Chuck" (980 yen), "Premium Kalbi" (1,480 yen), "Premium Tongue Salt" (980 yen), "Kalbi Ramen" (800 yen), and "Draft Beer" (499 yen). First, cheers with a draft beer! The "Premium Chuck" was recommended and it was a hit! It seems it's not chuck. It was tender, with just the right amount of marbling, and had a solid meaty texture, making it delicious. It's like a cross between Kalbi and Harami (?). It's seasoned well, so it's good even without sauce. I ended up ordering seconds (laughs). The "Premium Kalbi" had plenty of marbling, and it had a melting texture in the mouth. When you chew, there's a solid meaty texture, and it goes great with the sauce, making you want rice. The "Premium Tongue Salt" was a bit disappointing that they didn't have the special grade tongue salt. The tongue is moderately thick, but quite large, so it has a satisfying texture. Makes you want to drink shochu (laughs). For the finale, I had the "Kalbi Ramen." There wasn't much Kalbi in it, but it had plenty of vegetables like onions and leeks. The moderately spicy and delicious soup is nice! It brings out the flavor of the vegetables and complements the noodles. The soft noodles also go well with the soup! It warms up the stomach that has been cooled by the beer. Payment can be made with QR code. There seems to be only one staff member, but they quickly served the dishes. The prices are also reasonable. I should have gone sooner without hesitation (laughs). I will go again. Thank you for the meal♪

As soon as the rainy season ended, the heat became unbearable. Some shops were closed due to the pandemic, but I found a cozy restaurant near the station. They offer lunch sets, and I decided to try their chicken and pork set with bibimbap. The meat was delicious, especially the pork belly. The chicken was light and tasty. The bibimbap was served hot and had a good flavor. Although the price was a bit high, the portion was generous. The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere, and I was the only customer both times I visited. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and I hope this hidden gem near the station continues to thrive.

A yakiniku restaurant located in a building just off the south side of the shopping street near Nogata Station. They offer a wide range of ingredients from beef, pork, chicken to seafood, all cooked on a smokeless roaster with good ventilation. The menu also includes a variety of side dishes, making it a casual and family-friendly restaurant. One evening, while wandering around the station area looking for dinner, I ran into an acquaintance and decided to have dinner together. We saw a sign for a yakiniku restaurant right in front of us, so we headed up to the second floor of the building. The restaurant has a good number of tables and sunken kotatsu-like seating areas. There is a circular smokeless roaster on each table, which is quite impressive. We started with a toast with beer and ordered some kimchi and meat. - Local Combo 980 yen: A mix of local beef and kalbi. The familiar taste of marinated meat, with a good balance of fat and suitable for rice. The beef was surprisingly lean. - Special Piping Hot Hormone 780 yen: Served with homemade miso sauce, the intestine was cooked thoroughly on both sides using the smokeless roaster. The texture was chewy yet easy to eat. The natural sweetness of the meat was more dominant than the sauce, making it delicious. - Seafood Assortment 1,480 yen: A combination of shrimp, squid, and scallop. Not very impressive, but the flavors were safe and comforting. - Premium Kalbi 1,980 yen: A thick-cut without sauce to highlight the quality of the meat. Despite its elegant appearance, the meat was slightly heavy on the fat. - Bibin Noodles 800 yen: Cold noodles mixed with spicy sauce. The noodles had a good texture, but the balance of the sauce was a bit salty for my liking. We caught up on each other's lives and had a lot of stories to share. We ended up drinking quite a bit. The price for one serving of meat ranges from 680 yen to 980 yen, making it affordable. They offer a variety of options from beef, pork, chicken to seafood, and the side dishes are also plentiful. It seems like a place where even children can find something they like. The location is convenient, making it easy to drop by.

I came to Nogata for a work meeting and was looking for a place to eat. It was late, so it was hard to find a restaurant, but luckily I stumbled upon a yakiniku restaurant! The menu was reasonably priced. I ordered a recommended set which included a drink and one dish (beer, shochu highball, salad, and grilled dish). I also ordered grilled intestines right away. I ordered grilled dishes, salad, yukhoe, namul, etc. The taste was good and it was great that they were open late. I would definitely visit again when I come to Nogata for work. Thank you for the meal!

On a regular night, my younger daughter and I visited this restaurant located near Nogata Station. After about an hour and a half, my older daughter joined us. We started with a toast with draft beer and lemon sour. We had a sanchu salad, kalbi diced meat, pork belly with garlic, corn with butter, chanja (Korean spicy miso), salted beef tongue, and hormone (intestine) grilled with cabbage. The quality of the meat was average, and the late-night opening hours were convenient. The total bill was 13,454 yen. Thank you for the meal!

The four of us devoured a large amount of meat. The bill came out to around 7000 yen. The best part was being able to relax and enjoy yakiniku late at night after the last train. I think this place would be popular among locals.

After a work meeting, four of us used this restaurant. Located just a 1-minute walk from Nogata Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line, there are few places open late nearby, so we chose this one. The restaurant has 2 tatami rooms and 3 tables, and it is a relatively clean yakiniku (grilled meat) restaurant. We ordered recommended items like the Mecha Mecha Kalbi, Tokujou Kalbi, and Tokujou Negi Shio Tan. The Tokujou Negi Shio Tan was a bit thickly sliced and felt a bit pricey, but the taste was good. The Mecha Mecha Kalbi is chopped meat, so the portion is small for 680 yen per serving. The taste is good, but the pieces are small, so it doesn't feel very satisfying. The Tokujou Kalbi is high-quality marbled meat and delicious, but one piece is enough to feel satisfied. Overall, the meat cuts at this restaurant are on the smaller side, making it easy for women to eat.

When you exit the south exit of Nogata Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line and head south along the shopping street, you will see a sign on your left. Go up the stairs to the 2nd floor. I visited around 7 pm on a weekday. Inside the restaurant, there are tatami and table seats. There was one other group of customers. We ordered 'Draft Beer (Medium) ¥499 x2', 'Beef Tongue ¥950', 'Mixed Kalbi ¥680', 'Brisket Hormone ¥780', 'Chuck Flap Tail Kalbi ¥680', 'Bibim Noodles ¥800', 'Grilled Tongue (Salt) ¥499', 'Ribeye ¥880', 'Spicy Kimchi ¥350', 'Salted Cabbage ¥499', and a few alcoholic drinks. The most memorable dish was the Brisket Hormone. The staff explained that it should be eaten with chopped cabbage after grilling, so we followed their advice. It tasted light and refreshing with the cabbage. Overall, the meat was average. It's a nice place to drop by for casual dining. Thank you for the meal.

When you exit Nogata Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line and walk a few dozen steps to the left, you will find "Issei-en" on your left. I first visited this place over ten years ago when I lived nearby, and I have been captivated by their "Mechakucha Kalbi" ever since. Even though the slices of premium meat are small and thin, the taste is top-notch! And the best part is, it's only 680 yen per serving, which is amazing value for money! I often find myself craving it even though I no longer live in Nogata. Also, I highly recommend their "Stone Bibimbap"! By the way, I heard that this restaurant is owned by a relative of Issei Sae, the actress.

Beef Kalbi Yakiniku Bento Box - 830 yen
This bento box from a yakiniku restaurant is packed with plenty of beef kalbi. It comes with bean sprout namul and pickled vegetables on the side. The meat is coated in a savory sauce that goes well with the rice, and there's extra sauce included. The portion of rice was generous, but I couldn't help but devour it all. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, many restaurants have started offering takeout options like bento boxes. I can't help but wonder if this scenery will only be available for a limited time. That's why I decided to grab a delicious bento box now. It's a yakiniku restaurant bento box with a satisfying volume and plenty of meat. This kind of meal is great.
