イノガシラゴロ~
"On the midsummer day of the ox"! What do you all eat to celebrate? It is said that "Hiraga Gen'nai" spread the idea of eating eel on the midsummer day of the ox, and many people believe it, but actually, it is just one theory. It is said that as long as you eat something with the sound "u" in it to avoid summer fatigue on the day of the ox, it doesn't have to be eel! For example, "beef" or anything with "u" will do! Do you know that? Well, putting that aside, my usual routine is to go for a drink after work at a random place, and when I start to feel good and tipsy, I usually head home, haha. But on this day, even though it doesn't really mean much, I decided to go straight home just for the heck of it. "Today is the midsummer day of the ox, so I bought eel to eat at home!" I said... "It's not a celebration or anything, you don't have to eat something that expensive, right? (^^;)" I'm not taking her to an expensive restaurant to eat, so maybe it's not a bad idea to eat something like this at home once in a while, right? On a bed of freshly cooked rice, there is plump eel from Miyazaki Prefecture! It's a waste, so I eat the eel little by little (laughs) When you eat the eel with the soy sauce and sweet mirin-flavored sauce on the rice, it's really delicious! I prefer skewered eel over grilled eel! A luxurious dining table like this with the whole family at home is also nice once in a while, but occasionally, when something unexpected like this happens, it kind of takes the excitement out of it, you know? (^^;)
