I visited "Tenya" on my way back from a business trip, probably for the first time in almost 5 years. The restaurant is located in Tokyo Station's Yaesu area, making it convenient for transferring trains. I was surprised to see that you have to place your order using a touch panel system at this branch. I ordered the "Tarezuke Oedo Tendon Set (1,160 yen)" this time, with the option of extra sauce. The tempura was a bit soft due to being soaked in sauce, but it was delicious for those who like sauce. Despite being called Oedo, it didn't have a strong Edo vibe, with tempura consisting of conger eel, squid, and peeled shrimp and shiitake mushrooms. I just wanted to eat the conger eel tempura. I chose cold soba as part of the set, which was a refreshing finish after finishing the tendon. It was a great combination. After finishing, I felt like eating regular shrimp tempura. Next time, I think I'll try a regular tendon.

Seafood tempura rice bowl at Taredzuke. Located in Yaesu Underground Shopping Mall. I wanted to buy a bento for my father, so I decided to have my meal here as well. The seafood tempura rice bowl was delicious, with tempura of shrimp, squid, and scallops. Each piece had a strong flavor and was very tasty. Considering it's a tempura rice bowl, it was quite affordable. Thank you for the meal.

Today, our meeting ran late and my Shinkansen train is approaching soon, so I decided to have a quick lunch at "Tenya" where you can eat in a short amount of time. It was lunchtime and there were about 7 people in line, but as expected, Tenya is fast! I was excited to visit the birthplace of Tenya. This time, I had a simple tempura bowl which arrived in about 8 minutes. It's been a while since I last had it, but I couldn't help but feel that there was too much sauce this time. I usually ask for less sauce, but this time I didn't customize it and the sauce was still too much... The taste was still great though. I'm happy to have visited the birthplace of Tenya. This taste that I occasionally crave was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

After wandering around Tokyo Station today, I stumbled upon "Tendon Tenya Yaesu Store" for dinner. This chain restaurant's first store opened in 1989. I arrived at 5:25 pm on a weekday and was greeted by a female staff member who directed me to a table. The menu offered a variety of tempura rice bowl options, including shrimp, squid, and vegetables. I chose the classic tempura rice bowl, which was served promptly and featured crispy tempura shrimp, squid, whitefish, pumpkin, and green beans. The tempura was fried in canola oil, giving it a satisfying crunch. The sauce was on the thicker side, so I added a bit more from the tableside condiments. Overall, the meal was delicious and I finished it off with a bowl of miso soup.

Near Tokyo Station, we were wandering around looking for something to eat before heading back to Osaka. My family wanted to have tempura, so we came to this place. Despite it being a random time, the restaurant was packed! Impressive, right? We ordered a draft beer for 490 yen and the All-Star Tempura Soba (cold) for 890 yen. My family ordered the All-Star Tempura Soba (hot) for 890 yen. The set included shrimp, squid, scallop, lotus root, shiitake mushroom, and green beans. I don't usually eat tempura, so having the crispy shrimp tempura after a long time was delicious. The pickled radish on the table was unexpectedly tasty and delightful. I love pickled radish. Even at a chain restaurant, the tempura was so delicious that it made me want to try a high-end tempura specialty shop. It was reasonably priced at 890 yen, and we were satisfied, but I couldn't help but notice the old and cloudy acrylic sheet on the table. It was quite bothersome and I tried to move it, but it was firmly fixed. Given the current situation, it's understandable, but when dining with family, I would prefer to have it removed. Nevertheless, it was a satisfying meal. Thank you.

I visited "Tendon Tenya Yaesu Store" located at South 1, Yaesu Underground Street for the first time. The staff recommended the Autumn Tendon, which is made with seasonal ingredients. I ordered the Autumn Tendon along with a highball. The tempura included saury from Sanriku, oysters from the Seto Inland Sea, maitake mushrooms, and domestic vegetables (pumpkin, burdock, and secret beans from Yamagata Prefecture). It was served piping hot, which was delightful. Towards the end, it got a bit greasy and heavy, but overall, it was a good value tendon restaurant!

The shocking thing is that there were 2 young sweetfish for 200 yen - chubby and likely farmed fish, but it's natural to doubt at this price. The bitterness is fish-like, but not too watermelon-like? It's so cheap that it makes you suspicious. ● Cold udon They serve the udon incredibly fast - did they just boil it? The udon is quite firm and bouncy.

I dropped by Tenya for lunch and ordered a regular size tendon. After a while, the tendon arrived. I sprinkled some shichimi spice on top and enjoyed it! The shrimp was crispy and delicious. The green beans were crunchy, and the pumpkin was soft and sweet. I wish the lotus root was a bit thicker. The sauce was sweet and perfect for tempura. The amount of rice was just right. If you're really hungry, you might want to go for a larger size. Overall, it was a stable and satisfying quality meal.

I was lured in by the words "white shrimp tempura" and decided to have a meal at this place. The portion of the soba noodles was a bit small. The tempura bowl also had a small amount of dipping sauce, so I had to ask for more. The tempura was crispy, the conger eel was tender, and the umeboshi plum was pitted. The white shrimp tempura was a bit over-fried, so I couldn't fully taste the deliciousness of the shrimp. However, it was a satisfying meal overall.

Lunch time at the original Tenya store in the Yaesu underground shopping area. From 12:00 to 14:00, they offer free extra rice service. And for a limited time, you can get a free shrimp with a coupon from the official Tenya website. Such a generous offer! It's a very satisfying lunch.

Tempura rice bowl. I wanted to eat something quick while transferring. My wife had a summer tempura rice bowl with dipping sauce. We went to a nearby Sushiro last time, but it was also crowded. Tempura rice bowl. My wife got a luxurious horse mackerel. The horse mackerel in dipping sauce. The taste is a bit strong, but delicious. Shrimp, squid, greenling, pumpkin, green beans, and the usual ones are all crispy and tasty. My wife's bowl also had shrimp, large squid, and eggplant. Thank you for the meal. I visited the tempura restaurant Tenya located at the beginning of Yaechika, the underground shopping mall in Yaesu. I was attracted by the 500 yen tempura bowl and decided to give it a try. It was around 3 PM on a holiday and the place was not crowded. I opted for extra rice with my tempura bowl. The tempura, freshly fried, was indeed delicious. The restaurant was empty, allowing me to enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace.

Hello. This is Cammy. Today, I went to the tempura restaurant Tenya for breakfast and lunch. Tenya is popular for its affordable tempura dishes, but their udon noodles are actually delicious too! They offer Inaniwa udon style noodles that have a shiny and smooth texture, and I always end up ordering a whole serving as a side dish. The fact that you can get a set for less than 1000 yen is also very appealing. I think the quality is high considering the cost. It's convenient for having a drink occasionally as well. Self-service restaurants are becoming more common these days.

It's been a long time since I last went to Tenya, I wonder how many years it has been? Have they added new items to the menu? I was indecisive but ended up choosing the classic tempura bowl with two Shanghai shrimps, pumpkin, shishito peppers, and what else? I forgot... maybe regular shrimp? Haha. But the sauce goes well with the rice. Before, I felt like the batter was too thick and the oil was heavy, so I didn't really like it. But this time, I found myself enjoying the rice. I might come back again.

I went to Tenya because they were offering a limited-time Awaodori chicken tempura bowl with mayo cheese at the Yae Chika Cheese Love Festival. The chicken was tender and the tempura was good, but the mayo cheese topping was a bit too much. The dish would be better if the cheese mayo was served on the side. Overall, it was a unique dish, but I feel like Tenya is focusing more on high-value items lately.

I went because I wanted to eat tendon. The hospitality of the staff is very good. The taste is just good. There is a garish ginger and daikon sweet vinegar pickle on the table, which is delicious. When the rice is extra large and the sauce runs out, there is tendon sauce on the table, so you can rest assured. After returning from a business trip on January 24, I had planned to go to Tamachi to have some cabbage rolls, but due to a flight delay, I wouldn't make it in time for lunch. So, I decided to head to Tokyo Station instead. I heard that "Tendon Tenya," known for its affordable tendon bowls, is offering a special tempura bowl made with natural shrimp for their 30th anniversary. I went to their original store in Yaesu underground mall to try it out. I opted for the "The Natural Shrimp Tempura Soba" set, which comes with two large shrimp tempura on top of soba noodles. The presentation was a bit underwhelming, as the shrimp tempura were placed in a cheap-looking bowl. The crispy tempura coating also seemed a bit off from what I usually enjoy. However, considering the price of less than 1,500 yen for such a large portion, it was still a good value.

I felt like eating tendon, so I went for lunch at "Tendon Tenya". It has been a while since the Sun Thank You Tendon was discontinued. I was happy to have miso soup included when dining in. The tendon costs 540 yen (tax included) and includes shrimp, squid, white fish, pumpkin, and okra. My favorite is shrimp, so I save it for last, but I also really like the squid. The miso soup is gentle on the stomach and delicious. I will visit again when I crave tendon.
