From the morning of 21.10.24, I went to the Nogawa river for some shrimp hunting. On the way there, I stopped by Inageya for breakfast. I wasn't very hungry, so I decided to try their baked sweet potato. It was recommended by someone named Tomitake-san, but I have no idea who that is. The sweet potato was from Ibaraki prefecture, priced at 198 yen plus tax, totaling 213 yen. When I tried it, it wasn't very sweet and lacked the honeyed taste. It was okay, but not great. Maybe it's because the sweet potato I had was still new and needed more time to mature. I remember hearing from the president of a sweet potato company that delicious sweet potatoes need to mature after harvest to taste good. So, the best time for baked sweet potatoes is after January. I'll give this experience a rating of 2.7 stars. The value for money index is 0.47, as it cost 100 yen for 213 yen. Baked sweet potatoes need to be sweet, so I'll look forward to trying again next time!
