I was surprised to see so many reviews for KFC, so I decided to join in. I used it for lunch since it's right in front of the station. I usually just buy and eat it at home, so it's been a while since I ate inside the store. I ordered the Japanese-style chicken cutlet sandwich (390 yen) and a small drink (200 yen). I always had a mediocre image of KFC's hamburgers, but it was delicious. It was different from the usual fried chicken, and the chicken in the burger was a good match.

Today is "Chicken Day". It's KFC day (lol). On my way back, I bought the "Chicken Day Pack" for 1,000 yen (tax included) at KFC... This pack would normally cost 1,400 yen in total. What a deal, saving 400 yen! If only every day was the 28th (lol)... I only buy from KFC on the 28th of each month and on Christmas. Today, six other people had already celebrated "Chicken Day" here... I waited for about 5 minutes. Got my KFC! And the best part is, they accept credit cards here. I don't know about other locations though... As for the taste, it's the same as always (lol). Can't wait for the 28th to come again!

On Saturday for lunch, I couldn't decide what to eat and ended up going to Kentucky Fried Chicken. The Aomono-Yokocho store had a counter on the first floor for ordering and an eat-in space on the second floor, which was divided into smoking and non-smoking sections. The compact shop had sofa-style seating along the walls and bench seats with tables arranged in two rows. I ordered the Moon-view Twister, even though moon-viewing season had ended. I wanted something light, so this seemed like a good choice. It consisted of soft-boiled egg and chicken with a Japanese-style sauce. The saltiness of the Japanese sauce was a bit strong, it felt like they might have put too much sauce on. The meal came with fried salmon and tartar sauce on the side, allowing you to add the amount of sauce you prefer. The salmon was not very fatty and had a slightly dry texture. It was decent, but I think I still prefer the chicken.

After exiting Aomono-Yokocho Station's ticket gate and crossing the pedestrian crossing in the same direction, you will find a chain chicken restaurant. It was during lunchtime, so I decided to get some food to go. The red spicy chicken poster caught my eye. The restaurant had a small interior with a narrow counter, where I placed my order. "I'll have one of the red ones, please." "We only sell this in sets of two." "No, I just want one." After a bit of back and forth, they understood my request. "Red chicken, one piece, please." Although it didn't taste as spicy as I had hoped, I still used my Ponta points and Gourmet card for payment. Overall, the experience was a reminder that not everything you expect to be delicious actually is.

For breakfast, I ordered a Fillet Tamago sandwich set, which came with the sandwich, 100 Purple Vegetable Salad, Hashed Potatoes for an additional 50 yen, and Fried Fish for an additional 150 yen. The total came to 650 yen. I didn't have much time, so I got it to go, but ended up having some time at my destination. The Hashed Potatoes came in a set of three, but they were a bit overcooked and too dark, reminding me of McDonald's Hashed Potatoes. The Fried Fish, on the other hand, was delicious and reminded me of KFC. The sandwich was a bit difficult to eat, as the scrambled eggs kept spilling out with each bite. I prefer easier-to-eat foods, so I think some improvements are needed. Mos Burger's hot sandwiches don't have this issue, so they are better in that regard.

This morning, I was in a fried chicken mode after watching the news about the 3rd Karaage Grand Prix. However, there are not many places where you can have fried chicken for breakfast, and even if there are, it takes time. So, I decided to visit this restaurant. It's not exactly fried chicken, but close enough to satisfy my craving. I arrived at around 7:30 am on a weekday. I purchased the new menu item, Set B of Yudou Egglight, which comes with Fillet Tama Potato Twister and a small drink (390 yen). I chose a cola for my drink. The Twister was delicious, but the portion was much smaller than the photo on the menu. I felt that I should have ordered a different set with a larger portion. Next time, I'll order something with more food.

Kentucky Fried Chicken Aobadokoro Yokocho Store: Shoyu-dare ONEBOX Today, I had plans to visit Aobadokoro Yokocho for lunch, so I decided to stop by KFC. I had been curious about the Shoyu-dare Chicken Sandwich, so I ordered the "Shoyu-dare ONEBOX". It included a Shoyu-dare Chicken Sandwich, Shoyu-dare Chicken, small fries, and a medium melon soda for 860 yen. The Shoyu-dare Chicken was surprisingly delicious, and I wondered why it hadn't been available before. The Shoyu sauce paired well with the chicken, although it was a bit sticky and a little difficult to eat. The Shoyu-dare Chicken Sandwich also had mayonnaise inside, which complemented the flavors well. Overall, it was a dish I would definitely want to try again.

Next to the rental DVD store here, I always end up giving in to temptation and stopping by for rentals and returns. When it comes to Kentucky, fried chicken is a must. However, I received a flyer for a delicious new hamburger at home, which caught my attention. Instead of renting a movie right away, I went straight to try it out! Currently, there are various types of burgers available during the Christmas season, but I didn't hesitate and ordered the Demi-Glace Cheeseburger and chicken set. There is a smoking area on the second floor, which is very convenient for me as a smoker. The hamburger patty and cheese are both rich and go very well together, complementing the Demi-Glace sauce perfectly! Just a heads up, there are only two registers on the first floor, so during busy times, you may have to wait outside in line. But the lovely smiles of the female staff will warm you up if you're feeling cold! Even when I'm not renting a DVD, I find myself coming back often. Please continue to provide the same great taste in the future!

I bought the standard value pack and a matcha crusher. The downside is that they tend to cool down quickly while taking them home. They don't taste as good when they are no longer hot. The insulation could be better. It would be great if they could do some research on this.

Boneless Kentucky Fried Chicken is juicy but a bit salty. The apple pie with custard cream is delicious. The Moon-viewing Cutlet Sandwich was a bit disappointing because it was a bit messy, but the taste was excellent. The sweet cutlet sandwich, the perfectly runny yolk, and the shredded cabbage all came together beautifully and tasted great.
