First, I went to Hakata Gekijo. They open at 4 pm, so it's easy to visit. It was early, but surprisingly there were quite a few customers! The restaurant is non-smoking. We started with a big jug of beer and some cabbage appetizers to cheers! They have a wide variety of drinks and it was interesting to see the big jug. Although they don't offer all-you-can-drink, their dishes are very affordable, making it a great place for a quick drink. Thank you for the meal!

At the entrance of Oomori Arcade, there is a Hakata Theater, but many people may wonder where Oomori Arcade is located. Where is Oomori Ginza? The restaurant has a spacious interior that is relaxed, and there is space for about 20 people on the second floor, suitable for parties! It is not a private room, so the risk of infection is low in this shoe-free space (for those concerned about stains, a preview is recommended). The food is delicious! Popular items include avocado spring rolls and black shiitake tempura, which are tasty! The classic octopus tempura is also delicious! There is a Mega Jockey series, but be careful not to drink too much! It goes without saying, but the quality of the alcohol for highballs is poor, so non-heavy drinkers should pass! Shochu soda is better for avoiding getting drunk. Alcohol is an adult indulgence. I think it is good for parties and gatherings!

Reopening after COVID! It's a bright and lively shop that specializes in gyoza. The gyoza served on the hot plate is excellent with a strong sear. However, the frozen yakitori is quite tough. The texture, smell, and taste are all harsh. It's tough even if it's cheap. This is an area that needs improvement. Keep up the good work. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant for the first time in a while, waiting for the lifting of the state of emergency. There were quite a few customers. I ordered the signature iron pot dumplings. There were only a few present cards left. I had a big glass of highball, of course. I was full and satisfied. Delicious.

I had dumplings in Omori! The restaurant has an interesting app and the drinks come in regular size and huge jugs, very big! The dumplings are served on a hot plate and the performance is okay. The taste is so-so, the dumpling skin sticks to the teeth! As for the grilled chicken, I couldn't really tell, it's small and poorly grilled. They need to work on it! Maybe their only selling point is their energy? Thank you for the meal.

We had a pre-drinking session before the first round of our drinking party in Omori. We gathered at a bar and ordered some snacks to go with our drinks. We all got mega-sized drinks for a toast. The snacks were just enough to not spoil our appetite for the main drinking session. I wish I could have tried more local dishes as a fan of Fukuoka.

I had motsunabe for the first time in a while, and it was very flavorful. The gyoza was small, so two servings were like one normal serving. The drinks came in large jugs, with each holding about a liter. And they were only around 680 yen. I prefer ordering small sizes multiple times, so a liter is too much for me. The young and energetic staff members are always a good impression, as they work efficiently. Cabbage is served as a side dish, and it's all-you-can-eat.

A bit of a head start. It's my afternoon off so it's fine. I finally realized that I had been upgraded to a premium member with my accumulated points. I received a voucher for 100 gyoza dumplings. You can order 22 dumplings at a time. When I said, "Oh, they're quite small," the staff responded. It's a bit subtle (laughs). Delicious. The mapo tofu is delicious.

This might be my third time here. I'm drinking alone at the counter. I love the pork belly skewers, so I ordered two. Mmm, consistently delicious. The recommended menu item, cheese-stuffed grilled bell peppers, was as tasty as it looked. The meat and tofu had a rich flavor that I enjoyed. It's a shame they were out of the chicken skin-wrapped skewers. It takes time to prepare them. I hope they come back soon. I'll definitely be coming back.

They may be small, but the crispy skin with juicy filling gives them a satisfying bite. I had a couple of refills with Hoppy, and when I looked over the counter, I saw they were preparing "Grilled Chicken Skin," a famous dish from Hakata (maybe?). You can order just one, which is nice. The mix of crispy and tender parts makes for a great texture. It's delicious! I'll definitely come back for a leisurely visit.

Quite a few (laughs) I ate and drank with my family of three. It seemed like quite an effort to make (laughs) Thank you for your hard work.

In late October 2018, I visited the area around Omori Station for the first time for a team gathering. It was a mix of modernity and Showa-era charm in the streets. We went to "Yataiya Hakata Gekijo Omori Branch" for the party. It was still bright at 4:30 pm, and as we went up to the second floor, we were greeted by a lively atmosphere resembling a street food stall. Lanterns were hung everywhere, setting the mood for drinking. We had draft beer, Hoppy, and unlimited shochu poured from a kettle. The iron pot dumplings were delicious and easy to eat, served with yuzu pepper for a refreshing flavor. We also had assorted oden, a platter of 7 Hakata-style grilled skewers, and a huge highball. Instead of yakitori, they served pork skewers, and the oden broth was not much different from Kanto style. The massive highball came in a 1-liter glass, making it feel like a workout to finish it. We also enjoyed shaking potato fries, chicken wings, and NTKG (seaweed, egg, sauce, rice). Overall, we got a glimpse of Hakata's street food culture, and I would love to try the real deal in Fukuoka someday. It's a shame that this chain restaurant is not in Kanagawa, hopefully, they expand to Yokohama soon. It was a quick and enjoyable meal, thank you! Ooyoshi.

This is a recommended restaurant for when you want to relieve stress with dumplings and beer. The dumplings are fried and delicious. However, eating too much can make your stomach feel oily. The restaurant is located right at the entrance of the shopping street from Omori Station. The staff is friendly and energetic. They have a food challenge where if you can eat 100 dumplings in 60 minutes, it's free. A colleague tried it and it looked really tough. We couldn't finish the remaining dumplings, but we enjoyed cheering them on with beer. The challenge failed just a little bit short. They seem to get tired of the taste and the fried dumplings can make you feel oily. The restaurant also offers a postcard service where you get free dumplings equal to your age on your birthday. It's a nice gesture, but it can be embarrassing to be cheered on with fireworks for getting free dumplings equal to your age. We couldn't finish all the dumplings, but we had a fun time drinking! It's a great restaurant that takes care of its customers.

As soon as you enter the shopping street at Omori Station, you'll see the large two-story Hakata Theater. When you walk in, the staff greets you with a big "Welcome!" We toasted with a draft beer and a mega highball. My friend drinks a lot, so having the mega size option is great. The cheers were led by the staff, who said, "Good job today, everyone!" It was a bit embarrassing but fun. We ordered the recommended sesame mackerel oden, one-bite teppan gyoza, and ginkgo nut yakisoba. The one-bite gyoza on the hot iron plate was just the right size and perfect with drinks. We were surprised by the generous amount of ginkgo nuts! As a ginkgo lover, I was very happy with that. The dishes were served quickly, and since we usually go to big chain restaurants near the station, it was nice to try a different place for a change. I will definitely come back! After having a drink during the day, we decided to visit this place for our second round. It was a Sunday before a holiday, but we were able to get in without a reservation. We ordered some drinks first, and I was surprised to see that they had a really big sour drink that was almost double the size of a regular glass. However, there was a mix-up and my friend's salt lemon sour got mixed with my grapefruit sour, so mine ended up tasting a bit salty. We also ordered some skewers and gyoza as snacks, and they were all delicious! It was nice to sit at the counter and watch them cook right in front of us. The only thing that bothered me a bit was that a young male staff member in the kitchen seemed to speak a bit harshly to a young female server, and he spoke loudly enough for customers to hear, which was a bit off-putting despite the tasty food we were enjoying.

Second visit as a VIP, filled my stomach with a large beer. The open space setting seems to attract customers, but it's not as lively due to the current self-restraint atmosphere. The young staff kept pushing food, but I was content with just snacking on oden. They are diligent in ventilation for infection prevention, making the interior cold, but they kindly offer warm tea and hand warmers. A thoughtful restaurant.

Ordered iron pot dumplings at Instagram, the birth month is priceless because you get as many pan-fried dumplings as your age, so I came here after a long time. However, on the first visit, I was quite surprised by the cover charge and membership fee, haha.

There are times when you just crave dumplings. They go well with beer, Hoppy, sour, and sake. The best way to eat tripe is with vinegar. I had some liver, and I'm not sure what kind it was, but it was surprisingly tasty.

I think it's a good idea to hydrate during a walk, especially when it's so hot. (lol)
