This is a shop located in a commercial facility directly connected to Nihonbashi Station on the Ginza Line. I visited using a 500 yen discount coupon I received on a certain website. The cheapest menu starts from 1,000 yen, which is relatively high compared to surrounding stores. I ordered the Tofu Sato Don, which is a bowl with plenty of sweet and savory simmered beef tendons. I wanted to eat something spicy, so I came to this restaurant. I ordered the seasonal limited menu, Yukkejang cold noodles for 1,100 yen. The crunchy vegetables and smooth noodles had a great texture. The soup had a good balance of sourness and spiciness, and even though I was feeling a bit of summer fatigue, I was able to eat a lot.

On the third day of eating out for lunch, after having Japanese and Chinese food, I decided to try yakiniku. I was a bit hesitant to have yakiniku for lunch, but there were no other options around. I chose the Beef Tongue MIX & Beef Kalbi Set for 1450 yen. The set arrived quickly, and we grilled our own meat on the shichirin grill. The portion of meat wasn't very large for the price, and the kalbi was very thin. The quality of the beef tongue and kalbi was a bit disappointing as they were on the tougher side. However, considering the affordable price, the overall taste of the lunch was decent. The rice, yakiniku sauce, kimchi, and wakame soup were all satisfactory. If the quality of the meat improves, I would consider coming back.

Today, once again, I enjoyed a luxurious lunch with someone else's money. I had a set for two and was completely satisfied. I've moved on from kalbi. The trend now is tongue and harami. That's all I need. Good harami is tender, flavorful, and truly makes me happy. It's sophisticated to go before the lunch rush.

On a weekday after 1 pm with a reservation and no wait, we were seated by the window. The location is great as you can overlook Shinjuku East Exit. It seems like it would offer a different view at night, sparking anticipation. We ordered the Shinjuku store limited three kinds of marinated meat set and the premium grilled meat set as recommended by the staff. The three kinds of marinated meat set included marinated tongue, marinated kalbi, and kalbi. The premium grilled meat set included marinated tongue, premium kalbi, and sirloin. It came with salad, soup, kimchi, namul, and rice. The marinated meats were in small pieces, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the atmosphere was calm and it was a nice space to enjoy a meal and chat leisurely. Thank you for the meal.

Eating yakiniku with someone else's money is the best. I splurged on two lunch menus that I couldn't afford on my own, with a budget of 5000 yen. The tongue, harami, and kalbi were the best choices for a clean-up. However, sadly, as I get older, kalbi becomes harder to chew. The juicy fat that oozes out as soon as you bite into it is enough to make you want to stop after a few pieces. The harami is tender and delicious, while the tongue is thinly sliced and easy to eat. I also had seconds of rice, and my stomach was completely full.

I dropped in because I was craving yakiniku. I went for lunch on Saturday and since it was raining and early, I was able to eat right away. It was delicious. Just your average yakiniku. The sauce had onions in it, which I think is their specialty. They also have other menu options for lunch besides yakiniku, like a sundubu jjigae lunch, so I think it's a good choice for a quick lunch on Saturdays.

Around 11:30, I had lunch at Tokuri-san and ordered the Harami yakiniku set with 1.5 times the amount of meat for 2180 yen. I also ordered five-grain rice. There was more meat than I expected, so the rice went down well. I even got a refill. It had been a while since I had eaten Harami, so it was delicious. I am full now. Thank you for the meal!

I finally visited a restaurant that I had been curious about for a while. It's a Korean BBQ place with a great selection of Korean dishes. As soon as I saw the menu, I decided to try the set that includes both pure tofu and yangnyeom chicken. What a happy lunch choice! I thoroughly enjoyed every bite and felt so content.

I visited around 11:30 for lunch. I had decided on yakiniku today. It was my first time here, and I found the lunch to be a bit on the expensive side. Today, I had the pot-marinated kalbi set meal. It was priced at 1,880 yen but was discounted to 1,680 yen. The set meal included meat, rice, soup, salad, namul, and kimchi. The pot-marinated kalbi was thinly sliced with plenty of fat and cooked quickly. The sweet sauce was delicious. I enjoyed my meal today as well.

I visited this restaurant for lunch. It was very convenient as it is directly connected from the station, so we didn't get wet even in the rain. There were many lunch menu options to choose from, making it hard to decide. I ordered the Wagyu Kalbi & Roast combo set. There was corn tea at the table, which was a nice touch. Lunch on January 24, 2020 (Friday) at a yakiniku restaurant in Yaezuichome, located in the Yaezu First Financial Building. I chose the Wagyu Kalbi and Beef Tongue Assorted Set (1518 yen, tax included 1670 yen) from the yakiniku set menu. The plate was brought out, and I grilled the meat on the shichirin by myself. The beef tongue came in both thick and thin slices, which was a bit confusing. It was okay. The kalbi was decent, but overall, the meat lacked a distinct flavor.

Meeting with work colleagues from out of town on the way back to Tokyo, we had a social gathering. If we take the Keikyu Line from Haneda Airport and transfer to the Asakusa Line here, it would be an easy invitation for me as it's on my way home. Today, we had a 3-hour all-you-can-drink plan for 5000 yen (including tax) booked through a reservation service. The table comfortably fits 4 people, and if there are 6 people, slim individuals can manage in the box seats. We started with a toast with draft beer. The kimchi made with long yam, along with the persimmon and mushroom namul, was interesting and delicious. The persimmon namul was sweet and salty, and combined well with the slimy texture of the mushrooms. The first meat served was thick-cut pork belly and chicken thigh seasoned with salt. The other red meat was confirmed to be lamb. It wasn't smelly for lamb, so it was acceptable. We each had 2 slices. The yakiniku on the charcoal grill was well-ventilated, with good heat and cooking. The chicken thigh had a crispy skin and was delicious. There were only salt and yakiniku sauce on the table, but the meat was cooked well and tasty. The beef was marinated in sauce, with short ribs and sirloin cuts. We also had raw makgeolli at this point. The meat had a good thickness and flavor, even though it had less marbling. We each had 2 slices. The autumn vegetables included pumpkin, carrots, potatoes, and eringi mushrooms. The autumn vegetable taste was subtle, but the charcoal grilling was done well, with a strong center and perfectly cooked edges. Grilling vegetables on charcoal can be tricky, but these vegetables were good. We also had a platter of harami (skirt steak) and hormone (offal). The harami was delicious, and it was a good way to understand the meat quality of this place. The standard at this restaurant for this meat at this price and location is excellent. I switched to a highball, and the all-you-can-drink service was exceptional with quick refills. We finished with chijimi (Korean pancake), chapchae (stir-fried glass noodles), and mushroom mixed rice, filling our stomachs with alcohol and carbohydrates. Thank you for the meal.

I had lunch at a Korean restaurant chain located in a building restaurant street directly connected to Nihonbashi Station. I ordered the daily special Beef Tendon Sundubu Jjigae set. The atmosphere was uncomfortable with all female customers who seemed to be office ladies from Yaesu. The female staff's service was somewhat brusque, making me feel a sense of sadness as an older man. When the dish arrived, it was a sizzling stone pot with raw egg inside. It came with salad instead of kimchi, which felt a bit lonely. However, the taste was quite good, maybe catering to the refined palates of the office ladies. Lastly, I had the customary bibimbap-style finish. At the checkout, I received a 10% discount with the chain's points, an additional 2% points, and a 3% bonus for using a code-based payment method, making the meal feel a bit more satisfying for this points-loving man.

Located in the basement of a building in the Yaesu office district, is Tofushu. Visited today for a company drinking party! I've heard rumors about the Ueno branch of this place being delicious. Expectations are high. Today, we ordered the 6,780 yen course. First things first, the alcohol! The all-you-can-drink menu is quite extensive for the price, with a good selection of beer, highballs, and lemon sours. Cheers! Work is over and alcohol in hand, it's the best! The first to arrive at the table was a combination of Namul and Kimchi. A classic. And then, for an additional 500 yen, we got the beef tongue. Hmm, it's quite thin. Maybe we didn't need to order this... a bit disappointing. Next up was raw Yukhoe! I was surprised as I thought Yukhoe wasn't commonly eaten these days. This got me excited. I enjoyed the raw meat with egg yolk. Then came the Kalbi, sirloin, and offal, served in small portions one after the other. At my age, I appreciate small amounts of various dishes. It's fun to identify which part of the meat is which, with the plate labeling them. I can say, "Oh, this is the shoulder! This is the thigh!" and so on (laughs). It's quite enjoyable. It's nice to be able to remember my favorite cuts of meat! For the finale, we had more raw meat, meat sushi, and Comtan soup! Ordering a liter of Makgeolli right up until the last minute, we drank to our heart's content. Many of the young men ordered multiple dishes for the finale, but still ended up spending around 8,000 yen each! Being able to eat raw meat at this price is great, Tofushu! (laughs) There wasn't anything particularly outstandingly delicious, but nothing that made me feel disappointed either. It's a safe choice for everyday dining or even for a meal with close business partners! The convenient location is a plus! Thank you for the meal!

After finishing a meeting, I had some time before catching the bullet train so I decided to visit a yakiniku restaurant near the station that I had been curious about. They apparently purchase a whole Yamagata cow, so I really wanted to try the whole cow platter, but I was worried I wouldn't be able to finish it alone. So, I ordered Toro-tan, sashimi platter, yukhoe, several types of grilled items, fillet (not Yamagata beef...), and ramen for the finish. Yukhoe is really good, isn't it~ There was also low-temperature cooked liver on the sashimi platter! Ah, I want to eat raw meat and offal without worrying about anything... The staff's response when I made a reservation over the phone was smooth! Thank you for the meal.

I went for lunch. I was worried if the smell would stick to my clothes... I had been eating seafood all through the New Year's holidays, so I wanted to eat meat (lol). It's convenient that it's directly connected to the station from Nihonbashi. Even the lunch menu had very delicious and tender meat. I wanted to have seconds of just the meat (lol).
