Established in the third year of the Meiji era. I tried plenty of samples and got a bit tipsy. I purchased some sweet sake with plenty of koji. There were many discounts available for Line friends. The premises were not very spacious, but there was an izakaya? And a bakery as well. I will visit again. I also bought a unique chocolate liqueur. The local beer was very easy to drink, almost like barley tea.

I went to Suginosha to replenish my supply of sweet sake. This time, I purchased the non-sugar red label sweet sake. At the tasting corner, I was able to compare three different types of sweet sake. The newly released green juice sweet sake was surprisingly delicious... I think I'll go for the green juice sweet sake next time. I also bought a bread lucky bag (5 pieces for 1100 yen) and sake manju at the Kura no Pan Kobo (bread shop inside the facility). The sake manju, made with great attention to both the dough and the filling by a sake brewery, is truly delicious. Suginosha has a fairly spacious parking lot, so parking shouldn't be a problem, but sometimes there are tour buses parked, so a little caution is necessary.

The Kyushu University Ito Campus stands like a temple, being the only former imperial university in Kyushu. It is truly enviable with its grandeur. This open sake brewery located near the university is a place you can visit anytime without needing a special occasion. However, being not so close to the university, finding a driver who doesn't drink or doesn't mind you drinking can be a challenge when going by car. The brewery not only offers sake tasting but also has a well-equipped beer brewing facility, which adds to its appeal. While it still shows remnants of the first craft beer boom, it is also able to adapt to the modern craft beer trend. However, compared to the diverse and adventurous craft beers in Japan, this brewery may seem a bit too tame. They also produce Shiga Kogen Beer as a sake brewery and brewery, but it didn't spark much interest for a visit. I hope they will lead Kyushu's beer culture with more innovative and bold beers. The open space is also well-designed, making it worth a visit.

Fukuoka Craft Beer Fukuoka's craft beer is represented by Mojiko Beer, which made me realize my own ignorance. We visited as a main stop on our drive to Itoshima. My wife finished a Raiyama Bock on the spot, and I purchased a set of three craft beers to enjoy at home. They were all delicious and had a deep flavor. I regret not becoming a member, and I definitely want to become one next time. Hamachisake Brewery's Hamachi sounded familiar to me, and it turns out it is indeed the family business of the Hanshin Tigers' pitcher, Hamachi Masumi. I definitely want to visit this sake brewery again, and next time I plan to purchase some sake as well.

Raging bus tour, this time to the nearby Itoshima. The tour includes a visit to a sake brewery in Hakata, established in Meiji 3 (1870) with a 150-year history. In the old charming building, they produce a variety of sake, craft beer, liqueurs, and sweet sake. They also sell by-products like sake lees and sake kasu, and have a tasting corner with amazake, plum wine, premium sake, and new sake. You can also use local coupons for shopping. I was looking forward to buying beer yeast bread and sake kasu bagels. There is another building on the same premises that sells beer yeast bread and sake kasu bagels. They offer bread that highlights the unique fermentation characteristics of a sake brewery. Unfortunately, the bakery was not open yet, so I bought roasted sweet potato amazake instead. The sweet potatoes are from Kagoshima, and the taste is mysteriously delicious. It's a unique treat that everyone can enjoy. You might just discover a distinctive item!

Japanese sake, once avoided for causing bad hangovers and being old-fashioned, has regained popularity in recent years as a drink to enjoy the ingredients and aromas, much like wine. However, the days of being served hot sake when asking for a drink are long gone, and sake breweries continue to struggle. In this environment, this brewery stands out as one that can survive. By opening up the brewery with parking, accessible toilets, free tours, sake tasting, a simple beer garden, and even selling bread, they have created a tourist-friendly brewery that resembles a roadside station. This approach seems to be one way for breweries to survive in this changing industry.

This is a place where I learned about the deliciousness of freshly squeezed sake and barrel-aged sake. They offer a variety of sake, craft beer, bread, and food, making it a great place to enjoy if you're not driving. The staff are kind and explain things in detail, which makes the experience enjoyable. I highly recommend trying the sake made from local produce in Itoshima, as they are very delicious.

After participating in a brewery opening for the first time in 10 years, I visited "Suginosha" in Itoshima to try their newly collaborated craft beer with Avispa. I enjoyed tasting their sweet sake and freshly tapped craft beer, with four different types available for 1200 yen. The basic pale ale, flavorful amber ale, roasted malt stout, and winter limited edition Raizan Bock were all delicious, but personally, I really liked the Raizan Bock for its rich flavor, perfect for winter. I also purchased three bottles of the Avispa collaboration beer for 580 yen each, with cool labels that I hope will be sold at Best Amenity Stadium after the pandemic. Additionally, they were selling bread, so I bought a lucky bag with 5 pieces for 990 yen, including sake lees cheese, sake lees chocolate chip, craft beer bread, ratatouille, and croissants. It seems like they have improved a lot since 10 years ago. Please continue to support Avispa!店Information: Suginosha 092-806-1186 Fukuoka City, Nishi-ku, Motooka 1442

I suddenly decided to go to an oyster shack with my daughter, so I bought this beer to bring along. Since I am a member of Suginosha, I was able to purchase it at a better price than usual. The set I bought this time includes three 330ml seasonal limited edition craft beers. The regular price is 1,620 yen, but on that day, non-members could buy it for 1,600 yen, while members could get it for 1,520 yen with an additional 5% discount (tax included). The set includes Amber Ale, Stout, and Raiyama Bock (limited to winter). Each beer has a delicious taste that you can't go wrong with. When you feel like having "a little good beer," Suginosha is the place to go.

I purchased the beer at JF Itoshima Shima no Shiki no Osake Corner, not at Suginosha. The beer I drank was Suginosha Beer AMBER for 540 yen per 330ml. This beer is made using fresh malt and hops, brewed with natural brewing water from the brewery. It is our most popular beer, made using only the first pressed wort, and has won numerous awards including a gold medal at international competitions. It has a slightly brown color, fine foam, and a smooth texture, with a mellow and deep flavor that does not require any snacks to accompany it. It was a beer that allowed me to enjoy a smooth and deep flavor.

In 2020, I visited Suginosha Brewery, a brewery with a long history but rarely seen in Tokyo. The nearest station is Hatae Station, but it's quite a walk from there, so I recommend taking a bus from Kyushu University Research City Station. The brewery has a spacious and atmospheric location, where time seems to flow leisurely. The beers I tried were all solid and traditional, fitting for the setting. The prices were around 600 yen for a pint, which is unheard of in the city center. It's a place where you can easily lose track of time and enjoy a pleasant time, just be mindful of the bus schedule for your return.

Both beers were extremely delicious (*^∀^*)♪ <Beers purchased this time> ◆ Aged Alt / Limited to 300 bottles 880 yen (tax included) [Product description] Our autumn limited sake "Luxury Alt" has been aged at low temperatures for one year. The acidity has increased due to aging, making it a good match for dishes with a lot of oil. It is a limited quantity, but please enjoy a taste different from the usual Suginosha beer. ◆ Straight Amber Ale 880 yen (tax included) [Product description] This is a "deeply flavorful beer" with the soul of the brewery. Selected varieties of malt and fresh hops create a slightly brownish and mellow flavor.

Recently, I've become hooked on craft beer. I realized that I've never tried the craft beer from this place before... (although I have bought it as a souvenir from Itoshima a few times). A friend who loves beer recommended "Suginosha's White Beer is worth buying!" so I decided to go buy it and give it a try.

◆Direct Pour Pale Ale 880 yen/720ml
[Product Description] Made with pale malt as the main ingredient and brewed with 5 types of fresh hops. It has a refreshing taste, a slightly sweet aroma, and an elegant richness.
◆Direct Pour Stout 880 yen/720ml
[Product Description] Made with carefully roasted roasted malt and honey malt as the main ingredients, brewed with high-quality bitter hops. It is a black beer with an elegant smoothness that suppresses bitterness.
◆Direct Pour White Beer 880 yen/720ml
[Product Description] A white beer brewed with wheat malt (wheat malt) from the southern Germany region and Bavarian yeast. It features a floral aroma and a light refreshing taste.
I drank the Direct Pour Stout (black beer) before taking a photo, so I don't have a picture of it (^^;), but all of them were very delicious beers with a rich taste. I can't buy expensive beer all the time, but I want to indulge in a rare luxury and enjoy it, as this brand is one of my favorites among craft beers. ☆

It is located near Kyushu University Ito Campus and is famous for its local beer and sake. I had passed by many times before but finally got a chance to go there. The road to the parking lot was a bit narrow. At the bakery, you can buy pretzels, croissants, bagels made with sake lees, beer yeast bread, sake manju, and more. They also offer samples, which is nice. I bought a plain sake lees bagel for 180 yen and a cheese bagel for 250 yen. When you open them, you can smell the sake lees. The texture is moist, slightly sweet, and has a hint of sake lees flavor. This is my first time trying this and it's so good. The cheese bagel also goes well with cheese and sake, so it's a perfect match. Both were delicious. In the brewery, there were various local beers, sake, liqueurs, etc. You can also sample them, and I ended up trying sake, chocolate liqueur, yogurt liqueur, amazake, etc. They were all tasty, so I bought the amazake for 840 yen. I plan to heat it up and enjoy it. Thank you for the meal.

After enjoying oysters on a tour in Itoshima, I went to this shop for a sake tasting and bought some beer. Then, feeling a little tipsy, I purchased pretzels and croissants at the bakery. At Suginosha Brewery, I ordered a craft beer sampler with 4 varieties and a curry bratwurst. The Amber Ale had a smooth and deep flavor, the Stout had a refined and balanced bitterness, the Pale Ale was subtly sweet and refreshing, and the luxurious Alt had a mature bitterness. I enjoyed the drinks with the curry bratwurst as a snack. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I rented a car for a trip to Fukuoka and decided to drive around the Itoshima area. While this place was not my intended destination, I came across a sign and decided to stop by. They had a small parking lot and offered a tour of their craft beer factory and sake brewery with tastings. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise and a great memory. They had a variety of drinks available for tasting, which was a treat for any alcohol lover. In a corner of the shop, they sold bagels made with sake lees and beer yeast, as well as sake-filled buns. Everything was available for sampling, and the chewy texture of the bagels was delicious. They had different flavors and also offered sets for sale. They even provided free spring water for drinking. As we were leaving, a tour bus arrived, indicating that this place is a popular stop for tours. The beer, sake, and bagels would make great souvenirs, and it's a fun place to visit even for individual travelers!

When I was single, my husband and I used to go to Hamachi Sake Brewery often. They gave us their beer ^^ The Raiyama foam is soft, with a tingling sensation and a hop aroma spreading in the mouth after drinking, creating a complex taste. It has a strong bitterness and a rich flavor with a dark amber color. It is described to go well with red wine, giving it a special feeling beyond just beer. I still have a few more bottles in the fridge ^^ Craft beer is definitely different from major brands, with many unique beers to compare and enjoy♥ Especially being a local brewery, I hope Hamachi Sake Brewery continues to do well. The fact that you can drink it on-site is also a big plus, so I really want to visit there someday~

From 1/28 to 2/26, the brewery was open on weekends and holidays. It was amazing. It's such a popular place that bus tours are available. The amazake and sake were all delicious. There was a museum and we could also do tastings, which was fun.

I visited the 150-year-old sake brewery "Suginosha". They offer various sake tastings, including an award-winning Junmai Ginjo and delicious amazake. Next door, there is a bakery where I bought a sake lees bagel. The bagel is made without eggs, milk, or butter, making it suitable for those with allergies. I tried the plain flavor, and the dough is very fine-textured. It has a simple taste of bread with a subtle sweetness from the sake lees.
