Located on the 2nd floor of the Night Inn Fujiya Building in Kurazaki, Yahata Nishi-ku. This authentic bar is open when you see a sign on the stairs of the 1st floor of the building. They offer a variety of rare and unique drinks that you won't find in other places, with new drinks coming in regularly. You can tell that the master is constantly researching and experimenting. The cocktails are incredibly delicious, especially the original cocktails made with seasonal fruits, which are the best I've ever had at any bar. While cocktails are their specialty, they also have a wide selection of other Western liquors like whiskey. They have a rich variety of absinthe, which is the master's favorite. They are one of the few places that serve the limited edition beer Gajerry for restaurants. On this particular day, I enjoyed short cocktails like Gimlet, followed by their homemade smoked nuts and cheese, along with some whiskey. As always, they surprise me with their unique offerings. Today's last stop was at Bar Cluster. I took a seat at the counter and placed my order with the master around midnight. For me, I started drinking around 3 o'clock... so it was almost 9 hours... What a tough schedule today... When living this kind of life on a business trip, if my wife finds out... Anyway... I ordered a pear cocktail! It's rare for me to drink fruit cocktails, but it was also recommended by the bar, and maybe my instinct to choose something good for my body kicked in at the last minute. Now, the pear cocktail. Fukuoka. A bar in Kurosaki. Early December. I visited Kokura on a 2-day trip to Fukuoka. I went bar hopping at the Tanga Market and ended up in Kurosaki. I was turned away from Uotora, so I had dinner at Ebisu-ya Day and Night Diner. Afterwards, I visited this bar that I had been wanting to check out. It is located on the 2nd floor of a commercial building. When you open the heavy door, you see counter seats straight ahead and table seats to the left. I noticed some Mucha postcards on the back bar. Since Mucha is one of my favorite artists, I felt like the owner and I might have similar tastes. I was seated at the counter and ordered the classic "Sidecar" and my second drink was a "Tom Collins". Both were to my liking, with the Tom Collins being a bit on the sweet side. The glasses were also fantastic. They were the same ones used at a famous bar in Osaka. The owner was very friendly, and we talked about various things like other bars I've visited in Kyushu and the local characteristics of Kitakyushu. I had a great time and could feel the owner's attention to detail in the interior, the variety of drinks at the back bar, and throughout the establishment. I think the quality is on par with famous bars in Hakata and Osaka. I would love to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

If you don't have children, you won't eat at home haha. I went to a restaurant that serves Nagoya Cochin chicken, but it was not great, so I came here for a drink instead. It's still early for a bar, around 8 pm, but it quickly became almost full. I received a hand-rolled cigarette and switched to malt. Now, let's finish up and go home!

When you come to Kurosaki, the place you must visit is here. You can enjoy delicious drinks by casually requesting the friendly master. You can try unique absinthe that you couldn't get last time, or order the delicious jamón serrano that sits behind the counter. The ham here is tastier than any Spanish bar. I don't know when I'll be back in Kurosaki, but I will definitely return.

During the New Year's holiday, I revisited BAR CLUSTER in Kurosaki with three classmates after dinner, as per their request to go to a cocktail bar with delicious cocktails. The bartender was dressed in traditional Japanese clothing due to the New Year's season. We sat at the counter, which was soon filled up. The bartender began preparing something magical, arranging three small white cylinders on a small plate. He poured a small amount of water from a pot, and the cylinders elongated vertically, surprising us. He then handed us the elongated cylinders, which turned out to be hot towels. My two classmates ordered cocktails according to their preferences, while I ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail that was made with a non-alcoholic spirit called SEEDLIP. I was not aware of non-alcoholic spirits like this before. It was described to have a taste similar to yuzu pepper, which was indeed interesting. It was like a non-alcoholic version of a gin and tonic. I would like to revisit when I can drink alcohol. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

The master's personality is very good, and they treat first-time customers with care, so you can feel at ease even when alone. The quality of the cocktails is quite high. It's on a different level. And yet the prices are reasonable. You won't regret going. Absolutely not.

I appeared at Kurosaki. I visited Maruki Sushi first. It is located on the second floor of a building near Kurosaki Station. Luckily, there was an empty seat at the counter. The interior of the restaurant had a beautiful back bar, counter, and sofa seats. I ordered a Gin and Tonic made with Italian Malfy gin. Since I can't drink much, I requested an Absinthe soda as my last drink. The selection of Absinthe was extensive, and the bartender showed me a thick menu book dedicated to Absinthe, but he recommended one for me. By the way, the bartender asked not to take photos of the menu book. I apologize. The Absinthe soda made with Swiss Absinthe was slightly sweet and delicious, but it has 68% alcohol content. Thank you for the meal. As I was leaving, the bartender chased after me. I had forgotten my smartphone. Thank you, bartender. Despite being quite drunk, I ended up going to Ebisu-ya Day and Night Diner.

The small and cozy bar, with mainly drink-focused menu, and not likely to attract many young people, is ideal for me. This was my second visit, and this time I was able to sit at the counter. The place got crowded quickly, and it took a bit longer for the cocktails to come out since the bartender was handling everything alone. I tried cocktails with kumquat, hot buttered rum, spritzer (imitation), and French Connection. The kumquat one was delicious. The spritzer was made with vermouth instead of white wine, as they didn't have it, but I still prefer the white wine version. I appreciate the calm atmosphere and the attentive service of the bartender. I would like to visit when it's less crowded to have a leisurely chat with the bartender while enjoying my drink.

The place seemed to be popular among younger customers, perhaps due to the cheerful attitude of the master, the classical interior, and the cool atmosphere of the modern back bar. I ordered a short cocktail with gin, using various bitters flavors. The flavor of the day was "Autumn". The drink had a twist to it while still maintaining a classic taste, just like my previous visit. This place is consistent and I look forward to sitting at the counter someday. Having a drink with colleagues. I wanted to drink a little more, so I decided to visit "BAR CLUSTER" where I had previously visited for an offline meeting. This place was recommended by reviewers and is quite popular. When I visited after the offline meeting once, it was full and I couldn't get in. This time, there were only two male customers. Lucky us. The interior of the bar is lined with a lot of alcohol. There are 8 counter seats and 2 table seats. One of the tables has a white sofa for couples, maybe? The master handles everything alone. This master has extensive knowledge of alcohol and will make various cocktails to suit your taste. There are also many types of "Absinthe" (liqueur made with wormwood, etc.). There are fruits on the table, and I was recommended a cocktail made with these fruits, so I ordered one with persimmon and my colleague ordered one with pear. Since I had eaten spicy food at the first place, I wanted to reset my palate and asked for a sweet taste. The cocktail made with a variety of persimmon called "Akiou" had a sticky texture and a strong sweetness of persimmon. (I forgot the base alcohol) My colleague ordered a cocktail with pear as the base with gin. It was refreshing. I ordered an "Absinthe Chocolate" for 600 yen. There are other snacks like "Super Matured Ham" for 800 yen, "Honey with the Nest" for 800 yen, and "Cluster Olives" for 600 yen, showing a commitment to snacks. They also offer small portions or half portions. We each ordered another drink after that. My colleague had a cocktail made with "SEEDLIP," a non-alcoholic spirit, similar to a Salty Dog with salt. I, who was already starting to get drunk, asked for a strong cocktail. I forgot the contents of the cocktail, but I only remember that it was delicious. When I mentioned the type of cocktail I wanted to drink for the first and second rounds, the master surprised me by finishing it perfectly to match my preferences (imagination). The price of a cocktail is around 1,500 yen. The cocktails made with care by the master are well worth it. However, it takes time to make one, so if it gets crowded, you may have to wait for a while.
