This time, I visited a charcoal grill specialty restaurant on the 3rd floor of Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, which opened on March 10th. The location is a 2.3-minute walk from Yaesu exit of Tokyo Station. It is also a 7.8-minute walk from Kyobashi Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. This is my third visit to a restaurant in Tokyo Midtown Yaesu. The opening hours are 11:00-14:00 for lunch (last order) and 17:00-23:00 for dinner (last order at 22:00). They also offer standing bar service from 11:00 to 23:00. I visited with 2 people at 19:00. There are various seating options, including standing bar seats near the entrance, counter seats surrounding the charcoal grill, and table seats around them. There are also private rooms, and the restaurant can accommodate around 90 guests. I was seated at a table with a sofa in the back, offering a great view of Tokyo Station Yaesu exit. Orders are placed using a tablet. The drink menu includes sake, sours, beer, highballs, wine, with a wide variety of options ranging from expensive wines to affordable ones. Especially since it's a charcoal grill restaurant, there is a wide selection of sake, including famous ones like Junmai Daiginjo Shirakiku and rare premium sakes. It's a great place for sake lovers. I ordered a domestic lemon sour (990 yen tax included) and a Wenzhou mandarin sour (990 yen tax included). As for food, they offer various courses such as the Hospitality Course (18,000 yen tax included) and the Basic Course (10,000 yen tax included). We ordered a la carte. There is a seating charge of 550 yen per person. The menu includes a wide variety of dishes such as grilled seafood like dried fish such as Kasa-go (3,080 yen tax included), Kin-ki (2,530 yen tax included), Kammasu (1,980 yen tax included), Nodoguro (1,320 yen tax included), and small sardines (990 yen tax included for 2). They also offer grilled vegetables like salted new onions, Nobunaga onions, round eggplants, stem broccoli, corn, island pickles, purple asparagus, lotus roots, etc. Other items include individual charcoal-grilled dishes like Japanese A5 Wagyu beef (5,800 yen tax included), Original Hamburg (2,000 yen tax included), Horse Meat Steak (3,500 yen tax included), Spanish Red Meat (3,500 yen tax included), etc. There are also appetizers and tempura dishes like Dashi rolled sea urchin (2,500 yen tax included), 3 types of sashimi assortment (2,600 yen tax included), Squid salted roe (455 yen tax included), Homemade karasumi (1,000 yen tax included), Smoked salmon (1,320 yen tax included), Tempura assortment (2,500 yen tax included), and more. We ordered oysters (2 pieces for 2,640 yen tax included), straw-grilled sashimi (2,600 yen tax included), Oita chicken tempura (1,600 yen tax included), corn (1,540 yen tax included), purple asparagus (2 pieces for 2,860 yen tax included), Shiitake mushroom Tenkei (2 pieces for 1,540 yen tax included), Ham aburi tuna mayonnaise (1,320 yen tax included), Thick-cut Sendai-style beef tongue (2,800 yen tax included), Tomato onion salad (1,200 yen tax included), and Ayu (1,760 yen tax included). We ordered quite a lot, and the total came to around 24,000 yen. Overall, the experience was great. The table seat with a view of Tokyo Station was amazing. The interior was nice, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The service was good, and the staff made us feel comfortable. The drinks were well-prepared, and the sours were flavorful. The ice amount was just right, and the citrus flavor was strong and delicious. The food was also fantastic. It was my first time trying charcoal-grilled dishes, and the flavor was unique. The charcoal grilling resulted in a crispy exterior and juicy, flavorful interior. The straw-grilled sashimi was also delicious, especially the yellowtail sashimi. All in all, I had a great time enjoying the charcoal-grilled dishes.
