I had been curious about this place on Twitter for a while, but never had the chance to visit Sangenjaya. However, this time I had some business to attend to, so I decided to definitely come here! From the outside, you couldn't see the inside, making it a bit intimidating to enter, but there was a sign saying "Please come in freely", and since I'm used to visiting small shops many times, I gathered my courage and went in. The interior was small, with half of it being a miscellaneous goods space and the other half a cafe space (7 seats). I originally planned to have lunch, but also wanted to have cake, so I ordered the tuna avocado bowl (980 yen). There was also a tea set (around 1000 yen?), but I thought if I could also have cake, I might as well go for the cake and tea set (550 yen for the cake alone, around 800 yen for the set?). The tuna avocado bowl had a bit less sauce, but the taste of the tuna and avocado ingredients was delicious and I didn't feel unsatisfied at all. I ended up getting quite full from the tuna avocado bowl, but I wanted to relax, so I thought about ordering tea and cake, but then I thought maybe the tea set with lunch would be cheaper than the cake and tea set (probably) (laughs). I had more errands to run afterwards, so I decided not to order the cake and just looked at the miscellaneous goods before leaving. Small shops are cute and have a homely feel, but when it's your first visit, it's hard to feel settled... (^-^; The chairs I sat on were quite rickety too (laughs). Because of that, I initially thought of just leaving after eating, but the staff (I thought from Twitter that it would be a cute woman, but it was a man!) was very polite and kind in their service. They gave me a postcard and candy for the next exhibition during the checkout, and it made me feel warm, so I definitely want to come back! (*´꒳`*) Customer service is really important. Next time I come, I want to try the pumpkin soup and hot sandwich set that I was considering, and come for the cake. Also, in these small shops, it's nice to come with friends and chat about how cute and delicious everything is. It's a bit hard to linger when there are few seats, especially during lunchtime.
