I visited the American Club in Nihonbashi for the first time. It is located inside an office building and operates on a membership system. Since it was late at night and on a weekday, there were hardly any customers, making it a quiet and luxurious bar where I could have a leisurely conversation. If it were closer to my home, I would consider becoming a member just to use the gym facilities.

I had dinner at the Tokyo American Club located in the Nihonbashi Muromachi Mitsui Tower. This is a members-only club, but guests can enjoy a meal if accompanied by a member. Inside, there are mostly foreigners, and it feels like you might forget that you are in Japan. The food I ordered: - Shrimp cocktail - Salad - Lamb chop - Carrot cake The service was excellent. Once I ordered my food and drinks, they were brought to me promptly at just the right timing. Being a VIP members-only restaurant, it was truly impressive. The food was American-style with generous portions, and I was very satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

I visited here by chance and was torn between the American hamburger and the salad. I chose the salad and when it arrived, I was thrilled by its appearance! It was packed with ingredients like cheese, nuts, bacon, and rice crackers. The balance of textures and flavors was perfect, and I could eat it forever. It was so filling! The atmosphere was relaxing and I had a wonderful lunchtime experience.

There is a clubhouse restaurant that seems to be favored by upper-class Americans. Located higher up in the building, the restaurant has a bright and relaxing atmosphere, different from the chic restaurants in Azabu. The quality of service is high and the staff is friendly. It's amazing that tipping is not required in Japan (although many people still tip). The lunch special comes with a miso-based veggie soup, which made me nervous, but it turned out to be more like minestrone with little miso flavor. Maybe it doesn't suit the American palate, but it could be an attempt to incorporate Japanese elements. I ended up ordering the classic burger, with the option to choose the meat's doneness, which felt very American. I added Swiss cheese as a topping, and the fries were Belgian-style. When I ordered an iced tea, it came in an American-sized glass (so heavy!). I left feeling satisfied and full.

I went to dinner. It was my first visit in a while, but the seats were quite full, and it seemed like without a reservation, it would be difficult to secure a sofa seat. The food was delicious, and the sommelier chose a wine that matched the menu. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Having an American-style lunch meeting at the Tokyo American Club on the 5th floor of the Nihonbashi Muromachi Mitsui Tower. The Tokyo American Club is a membership-based club. To become a member, you need recommendations from two veteran members. There are membership fees and annual fees. The same floor has a restaurant space and a gym/fitness space. Inside the restaurant, Japanese is spoken but many staff members speak English. The menu is all in English, so you need to use your imagination to figure out what each dish is. I started with an iced tea, which came in a large glass! I intended to have a meeting while eating a hamburger, but the American hamburger was so big that I was fully occupied just trying to finish it. It ended up being a quiet, focused meal. The fries were also plentiful. Just like last time, I couldn't finish them all. Maybe I should have gone with cola or root beer to go with the hamburger. I wonder if root beer was on the menu?

A friend's husband invited me to lunch at a satellite restaurant where children are not allowed, so we could enjoy a quiet and leisurely meal. It had been a while since we had a good chat, so I didn't pay much attention to the taste of the food. Following my friend's recommendation, I chose a lunch set. The menu seemed to feature dishes with elaborate cooking methods. In hindsight, I wish I had just ordered a regular hamburger.

Choice of transaction, an American-style lunch meeting at Tokyo American Club on the 5th floor of Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower in Marunouchi. Tokyo American Club is a membership-based club. To become a member, you need recommendations from two veteran members. There are membership fees and annual fees. The same floor has a restaurant space and a gym fitness space. While Japanese is spoken inside, many staff members communicate in English. The menu is all in English. With dishes like Grilled Chicken and Waffles served with a choice of french fries, onion rings, or cajun fries, and arugula with ginger maple syrup, the American taste is truly felt. The classic French fries are a must, served with ketchup. The large pickles add a nostalgic American touch. The Potato and Red Cabbage Potage soup with broccoli is another American-style dish. Homemade ginger beer, a juice with a mix of ginger's spiciness, bitterness, and sweetness, is quite tasty. The Black & White fondant chocolate cake with walnut-crusted ice cream offers a crunchy texture. Earl Grey hot tea is the perfect way to end the meal. The volume of food was satisfying, and the overall experience felt like a trip to America. Tokyo American Club also has a location in Azabu, where members can visit, but Azabu members cannot visit the Marunouchi location, as they are run by different management entities.

It's been a while since I visited Nihonbashi. The system includes temperature check and hand sanitizing at the reception, as well as ID confirmation before being guided to the restaurant space in the back. Tonight, I had a course meal. The appetizer was cocktail shrimp, which had a pleasant aroma. The orange and shichimi as accompaniments added a nice accent, and it paired perfectly with the wine. The Cobb salad with yuzu dressing was delicious, and even without the dressing, the combination of tasty vegetables and bacon was excellent. Next up was the crab-filled crab croquette, which was matched perfectly with homemade tartar sauce and felt like it could be eaten forever. The main dish was a medallion steak with a red center. I had it medium rare, and the 230g portion was very satisfying. The meat was tender and delicious. The chocolate dessert was also very tasty. We had to rush a bit as closing time approached, but I would have liked to savor it more if there was more time. I will come back again. Thank you for the meal.

I was invited by a customer to TAC Nihonbashi and had a great time with the skilled and pleasant staff. The bar counter was dimly lit, making it difficult for me with poor night vision to see, but surprisingly my phone was able to capture the visual information well in that darkness. I was recommended a dish called "Flatbread," which had a thin crust with anchovy and herb sauce, topped with leaves, truffles, and milky cheese, finished with extra virgin olive oil. It was light and unassuming, but the complex and delicious combination of flavors made it enjoyable. The Steak Pinchos was a simple cut steak with a refreshing twist from the shiso paste. The Crab Cake with pink grapefruit sauce was a delightful East Coast specialty. Overall, I had a happy dinner experience and would love to visit again!

I visited for lunch. Membership facility, so you need to show your membership card or ID at the reception. Hand sanitizing and temperature checks are thoroughly done at the entrance. It's okay to use the cafeteria on the lower floor, but using a PC on the restaurant floor is prohibited. There are private rooms in the back, a bar counter in the front, and table seats and bench sofa seats on the restaurant floor. Today's order: Chicken wrap, Indian curry soup, green salad, potato curry salad, original hamburger, iced tea, hot coffee. Thanks to the wonderful atmosphere and hospitality, I was able to have a lovely lunchtime. Thank you for the meal.

It is a membership-based social club. The facility includes a steakhouse, American restaurant, diner, buffet restaurant, sports bar, as well as amenities such as a pool, bowling alley, esthetic salon, beauty salon, indoor golf, squash, gym, wine shop, library, mahjong room, and accommodation. I have been a member for about 15 years and always enjoy using the facilities comfortably. Recently, a satellite club has opened in Nihonbashi, making it even more convenient.

Until now, I used to use the American Club in Azabu for socializing, but this time, I was able to become a member of the one in Nihonbashi through a business connection. Although I was able to visit the club beforehand, due to the new coronavirus situation, I haven't had many opportunities to use it. Today, since I was just passing through on my way home, I decided to stop by the Tokyo American Club near Mitsukoshi Department Store. Located in the Mitsui Tower office building in Nihonbashi, I took the elevator to the 5th floor and then escalator to one floor up to reach the American Club. After presenting my card at the entrance for membership verification, I proceeded to the lobby where there are restaurants. However, I headed to the fitness gym with the latest machines to work up a sweat first. I changed into workout gear provided and received guidance from a trainer on cycling and light weight training. After sweating it out and freshening up with a shower, I went to the lounge where I had a morning meal consisting of fried eggs, yogurt, toast, and coffee. The breakfast menu had a typical American lineup and there were set options available as well. Cereals, juices, and other beverages were also plentiful, making it a convenient post-gym breakfast option. It was delicious and I enjoyed my meal. Thank you for the treat.
