◆2015・12 revisited Tonight, I visited the restaurant with my third son's family and my grandchild, a total of 5 people. It was close to 8 o'clock, but we didn't have to wait even though it was a weekend night. We had draft beer, potato fries, and for the main dish, we tried the garlic cream sauce black x black hamburger and the pork in black vinegar sauce pan set, as well as the demi-glace omelette rice. Overall, the food was delicious, but the menu seemed limited compared to other restaurants. Maybe the Jawa curry is the best choice at Royal Host (laughs). ☆〜(ゝ。∂)★2015・4 revisited My third son's family wanted to eat the "Don" hamburger, so we, 4 adults and 1 child, headed to the restaurant. However, it was extremely crowded, with people overflowing outside the restaurant. We decided to change our plans and went to the Royal Host in Musashino, where there was no line and it was surprisingly empty. We ordered draft beer, free drinks, hamburgers, steaks, salads, but it seemed like the portions were smaller than before? Especially the 11-item salad was quite disappointing compared to the menu photo (laughs). Although the restaurant was not as crowded as expected during the prime time on a Sunday evening from 6:30 to 7, I wonder if everything is okay with the first Royal Host store!´д` ;★ About 35 years ago, during my honeymoon, I used to live nearby and visited this restaurant frequently. Back in the days when there were no family restaurants like now, this place was where we celebrated family events. It truly was like the "Akachochin" from the folktale of Kaguya-hime, a luxury once a month~♪ (laughs) I heard that this restaurant opened in 1977 as the first store in Tokyo. When I graduated from university and got married, this restaurant has been a part of our family history (laughs). The crying baby who was just born back then is now 35 years old... I can feel the history (laughs). On a Saturday night, my family of 5 visited the restaurant after a long time, around 7:30. It was pouring rain outside. Maybe because of that, the restaurant was packed. We had hamburgers, curry, gratin, chicken sauté, etc., and I felt like the food had become tastier than before. Especially the curry at Royal Host is delicious! They also offer takeout bento, so I decided that we should come here next time, that's settled (laughs). ※Back in the day, I worked part-time driving a large vehicle, and there was a fancy drive-in called "Royal" in Kitakyushu, just after crossing the Kanmon Straits from Moji, Yamaguchi Prefecture. If my memory serves me right, this was the main store, right? I apologize if I got it wrong...
