There were few seats and no reservation was required, but we were able to get in by chance. The sommelier welcomed us with a lovely smile. I love chocolate and wine, so this was an irresistible place for me. I wanted to drink hot chocolate, but it was hot outside so I opted for a sorbet. The appetizer set looked delicious, so I want to try that next time.

KIKO Wine and Chocolate is a specialty shop for chocolate and wine located a 7-minute walk from Shirokanedai Station. I called ahead on a weekday evening around 9:30 pm to check for availability and then visited the store. We ordered a cheese platter with 3 types for 1,000 yen, a selection of 10 chocolates for 1,980 yen, and an Italian Barbaresco wine for around 1,100 yen (prices ranged from 1,100 yen to 1,900 yen). The variety of chocolates ranged from bitter to sweet, and there were also many types of wines to choose from. Yesterday, I enjoyed a bitter chocolate paired with red Barbaresco wine. During the winter season, they also serve hot chocolate and hot chocolate wine starting from 2:30 pm, so I would like to visit again after lunch. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Wine bar located in Shirokanedai. A new store opened in November 2022. Visited for lunch on a holiday. Chocolate and wine are the main characters. Perfect for when you want to chill with chocolate and wine but opening a whole bottle at home is too much. They offer a wide variety of single-origin chocolates. [Food] - Chocolate tasting with different types of chocolate: - Madagascar Bitter: both bitter and mellow. - Alto El Sol Ruby: emphasizes acidity. [Wine] - Four Star Chardonnay 2020 (California/Napa Valley): robust, complements the chocolate's character. - Homemade Hot Wine: blended with cinnamon, orange, clove, and anise, sweet and spicy. Warms the body. Seems perfect for bedtime. Would like to drink it every day.

I didn't know that there was a wine cafe where you can enjoy wine in the daytime while eating chocolate. It's located a little off Platinum Street, but I was pleasantly surprised to find such a place. I bought a chocolate called Tanzanie. This chocolate has 75% cocoa, with a perfect balance of bitterness and a fruity flavor that goes well with red wine.

In Platinum Street on Platinum Avenue, there is an Italian fashion store called MONO where E-san works. E-san informed me that a chocolate and wine shop has opened in front of the Matsuyama Art Museum, so I decided to take a stroll and visit the shop called Beatrice. Upon arriving, I noticed orchids in pots in front of the entrance. The shop, run by a female owner, had a small counter with six high chairs. They offered single-origin chocolates (starting from ¥495), bonbons (starting from ¥495), and a Raisin Sauternes (¥880), among other chocolate treats. The shop, which was previously a monthly parking lot, was tastefully decorated. It was a sunny Sunday with a temperature of 24.1°C, and many couples passing by stopped in front of the menu board. The concept of the shop was to enjoy chocolates with wine in a sophisticated atmosphere, making it easy for women to visit. The shop opened on October 10th, and outdoor seating was pet-friendly. Since there were no customers inside, I was able to bring Beatrice inside and have her sit on the mat while I enjoyed a glass of rosé wine. The rosé was from southern France, made from Grenache and Syrah grapes. It was a dry and refreshing rosé with a cute bottle design. In addition to wine, the shop also offered herb tea (¥770) and grape juice made from wine grapes (¥770). For snacks, they had mixed nuts (¥495), a selection of three cheeses (¥990), marinated salmon and onions (¥880), country-style pâté (¥880), spinach and bacon quiche (¥1100), and olive bread for an additional ¥200. The shop was well-equipped for its size. Although I could have bought a cute gift pack for MONO as a token of my visit, I decided to head towards the intersection of Platinum Avenue 5-chome after taking photos of the golf shop on the 1st floor, MONO on the 2nd floor, and the IGAX building on the 3rd floor. As I passed by Sushi Chou, the chef greeted me and complimented my outfit, which made me feel happy and grateful for the delicious tuna I had enjoyed. The gingko trees on Platinum Avenue usually turn yellow from late November to early December, but on this day, the fallen leaves created a yellow carpet due to the strong southern wind. With a forecast of 17°C on Monday and 12°C on Tuesday, I realized that this day was the only chance to enjoy the autumn colors, thanks to KIKO. It was a happy hour that colored my heart with the hues of autumn.
