When it comes to takoyaki, Gindaco is well known, but this place is just as delicious. You can get 8 pieces for 470 yen, with the option to choose half regular sauce and half rock salt mayo. The outside is not too crispy, while the inside is nice and gooey. They also offer a monthly special with Korean seaweed soy sauce for an additional 50 yen. Starting from June 1st, the prices will be going up.

"Iwacchi~ssu." This is the famous catchphrase of Iwacchi, located in Naka-Itabashi. To be precise, it's actually "Iwacchi-ssu!" The Naka-Juku store on the old Nakasendo road is known for its large customer base, but this store also holds its own. During lunch and dinner hours, there are rarely any moments when the counter isn't crowded with customers. I stood in front of the counter for the first time. There are several options to choose from. Since it's my first time purchasing, I plan to go with something basic, but the more unique menu items also look delicious. Then there's the question of quantity. Should I go with 6 pieces or 8 pieces? Hmm. Ideally, I would like 4 pieces of flavor A and 4 pieces of flavor B. In other words, 8 pieces of two different flavors would be ideal. However, that option is not available. So, I'll just go with the basic choice for peace of mind. "Medium Spicy Sauce" 8 pieces for ¥470. The takoyaki balls are quite large. They are generously topped with bonito flakes, giving off a nice aroma. They are cooked relatively well-done, with a firm exterior. Unlike the creamy texture of Kansai-style takoyaki, these have a chewy exterior and a fluffy interior. The sauce, although medium spicy, is not overly hot. The important "tako" (octopus) pieces are large. At 55 yen per piece, it's a good deal. The restaurant and their Twitter account are lively, and the takoyaki itself is full of energy. Iwacchi brings vitality to Itabashi, even in the midst of the pandemic. And today, the energetic cry of "Iwacchi-ssu!" continues. Thank you for the meal.

I've been to my favorite restaurant, Nakajuku store, a few times. There was a review on the food log, but there wasn't one for the Nakaitabashi store, so I decided to post one. They have six basic flavors, and it seems like they change the flavors monthly. The flavors include:
- Sauce (regular sauce)
- Salt Mayo (the most popular)
- Ponzu (I haven't tried)
- Thick sauce (quite spicy, tastes like takoyaki)
- Mentaiko Mayo (tastes exactly like the name)
- Salt sauce (different from salt mayo, it's a liquid sauce)
My friend from Osaka said that takoyaki is a flour-based dish, so the dough has to be delicious. Personally, I think the takoyaki here is delicious.

I felt like eating takoyaki so I bought a pack of 8 with regular sauce. It's a taste that I've eaten often, so I think it's safe to eat when I occasionally crave it!

From my Twitter connections... I decided to make a surprise visit during my business trip to Tokyo (lol) Wow, they have six different sauces! What should I do... 6 or maybe 8... But I also want to compare the flavors... Conclusion: I'll choose 6 of each pack (//∇//) This time, I'll go with the "regular sauce" and "salt sauce"♪ I'll be back soon ( ̄^ ̄)ゞ
