Visited Chiikawa Land and Magical Chiikawa while waiting for our reservation. We shared an iced coffee mix sandwich to satisfy our hunger. It's my first comment here, but I often use this place for a break when I'm at Tokyo Station. The second floor is spacious and the store has a restroom, so it's great for relaxing. (The restrooms outside the Tokyo Station gates can have a 30-minute wait during peak times, so this place is really convenient)

Tokyo Station a little early, I wanted to take a breather, so I headed to Doutor. The interior is quite spacious, and I unexpectedly spent time with an iced cocoa. It's hot in the city, and coffee shops have always been a good way to adjust the time. Doutor is known for coffee, but I prefer cocoa for my iced drink. It's sweet and delicious.

This time, for my lunch on the way back home, I decided to have a Milano sandwich from Doutor instead of a station bento, as I hadn't tried the limited-time beef kalbi + Shinshu miso ginger flavor. I ordered the Cheese-in Beef Kalbi Shinshu Miso Ginger (690 yen) and a large iced coffee (350 yen). When you purchase a Milano sandwich and a drink together, you get a 50 yen discount on the drink when taking it out. I received my order in about 5 minutes, boarded the bullet train, and enjoyed my meal. The iced coffee had a strong bitterness, which didn't get overshadowed even when paired with the food. It seems perfect for mornings or when you want to change your mood. The Milano sandwich had less ginger flavor than I expected. The cheese was the most prominent taste, with the miso flavor not standing out much. It was tasty, but a bit of a letdown. I think once is enough. Next time, I'll try a cake that caught my eye.

I bought it because it looked too cute. The soda jelly at the bottom and the lemonade syrup are a surprise if you accidentally suck them up without mixing them first - it's so sweet! But when you mix it all together, it becomes bland. Huh? Is this magic? Did I mix it wrong? No, how should I mix it? If you're looking for something refreshing that's not too sweet, then I think it's worth trying. But if you're looking for sweetness and get this taste, you might cry.

I did consider adjusting my time with a 30-minute break over an iced coffee, but the poor service put me off. After ordering the iced coffee, I was told the price, paid with PayPay, and asked about earning d POINTS, but was met with confusion. No guidance was given, so I had to ask, but they refused to redo the transaction. The staff practically ignored me. It's a busy place, just for an iced coffee, sorry. But it's not worth the time or effort. I feel uneasy. I won't be coming back, but thanks for the iced coffee!

On the second day of my trip on July 20, 2023, we departed from Tokyo Station. Today, we plan to visit various places again. We had some time before catching the bullet train, so my husband wanted to have a coffee to wake up. I ordered a hot coffee, while my husband got an iced cafe au lait. We found a seat near the entrance, and even though it was only 7 am, the place was packed with customers. Everyone was ordering without even checking for available seats. The takeaway counter was also busy non-stop. It was impressive.

Cafe located at Yaesu Central Exit of Tokyo Station. Due to its location, the inside is quite narrow and crowded. The service is decent. You have to clean up after yourself, but there is no need to separate trash. This time, I ordered an iced coffee R for 300 yen and a Belgian waffle for 170 yen. The iced coffee came in a glass cup, which was nice. It was quite bitter, so I needed two syrups.

I'm currently enjoying some relaxing time alone at home after having lunch on a Saturday. My husband is out for a company barbecue, so it's nice to have some me-time. Ah, it's so blissful to relax by myself. I went to my favorite yoga class in the morning. Just before going, I had thoughts of wanting to relax and take it easy, but once I'm in the yoga class, I feel refreshed. I'm glad I pushed away those thoughts of slacking off and went to yoga. Even though I struggle to stick with things, I take my yoga classes seriously. Now, onto the main topic - Doutor Morning. I really love Doutor. I used to read a series of columns about the founder of Doutor in a newspaper, and I always thought their cakes were delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. In the past, I preferred going to Starbucks, but now I hardly ever go there. I feel like Starbucks is not for me anymore! Whenever they release new Frappuccinos, there are always long lines of mainly young people, and the store is always crowded. It seems like whenever a restaurant closes down, Starbucks takes its place, and once it becomes a Starbucks, it attracts a lot of customers! Doutor is the best. Even if it's crowded, I can always find a seat if I'm alone or with one other person. The customers range from tired salarymen to stylish ones, working women like me, and elderly neighbors. It feels easygoing and welcoming for all kinds of people. Most importantly, I love the Mont Blanc with chestnuts. The pumpkin tart and milk crepe are delicious too! It's been a while since I had an outside morning. I ordered the Morning Set B with Chicken & Potato. I made a pit stop before heading to work. This Doutor near Yurakucho Station is not often talked about, but I've used it a few times before. This was my first time at this location. It's right outside the ticket gate and I thought it would be small, but it's actually long and narrow with a second floor! The Chicken & Potato hot sandwich looked flat at first, but it was delicious when I tried it! I wish it had a bit more volume, though. The grainy mustard added a nice touch and made me crave more! Doutor is great. Now that the rain has stopped, I think I'll go for a walk while doing some shopping.

I have been using this Doutor for a while. It's a great place to quickly do some work on my laptop while enjoying an iced coffee, rather than waiting in the Shinkansen waiting room. Even if I leave 10 minutes before departure, I can easily make it on time.

Coffee and a break until the Shinkansen departure time. There is a smoking booth in one corner of the 2nd floor, which is convenient for smokers. Ordered a blend at the counter. Also had Baumkuchen. The coffee and Baumkuchen were decent. Due to the limited smoking areas in the vicinity, the smoking booth tends to have a line.

"Doutor Coffee" is a coffee shop located in Tokyo Station, near the Shinkansen ticket gates, making it convenient for a break. The first floor is small, but the second floor has plenty of seating. The iced coffee was consistently delicious and satisfying. Tokyo Station can be tiring just from shopping (lol), so shops like this are valuable. And off I go shopping again!"

Before heading to Kamakura, I stopped for breakfast. I prefer this place over the usual morning spots. The tea is not Earl Grey, the bread is thin with lots of filling, and the spacious second floor allows for a relaxing time. I couldn't quite capture it in the photos, but eating here comes first.

Near the Shinkansen ticket gates at Tokyo Station, there is a Doutor café. The entrance doesn't seem very wide, and the first floor has a small number of seats. However, the second floor has a very spacious area with a variety of seating options such as sofa seats, table seats, and counter seats. There are outlets at the counter seats, and I saw people working on their laptops. I tried the vegetable juice for 440 yen. It had a cloudy tomato juice-like color with a subtle sweetness and a good vegetable flavor. It gave me a sense of satisfaction from consuming vegetables. According to the Doutor website, the vegetable juice contains carrots, tomatoes, kale, spinach, asparagus, watercress, parsley, pumpkin, lettuce, cabbage, beets, daikon radish, Chinese cabbage, onions, and celery. It provides over 350g of vegetables per serving, aiming to supplement the recommended daily vegetable intake for adults. It seems like a useful vegetable juice from Doutor. The staff who assisted me were very good. Thank you for the meal.

Morning A Hamtama Egg Salad at German Dog Tokyo Station Yaezu Central Exit, near from 6:30 in the morning, there is already a line of customers waiting 15 minutes before opening. The store is two stories high, with a calm space and good cost performance, making it popular for morning use and for those who use it as part of their morning routine. Doutor's coffee has a solid taste, providing a sense of security. The coffee is not too light or too strong, and you can easily enjoy a fragrant coffee with a low acidity. The Morning A Hamtama Egg Salad uses whole grain buns, which have a good texture and aroma. The German Dog is a perfect additional item for those who want to eat a hearty meal from the morning. I used this café, "Doutor Coffee Shop Yaesu Chuo-guchi Store," for a meeting at Tokyo Station before heading back from my business trip to Tokyo. Surprisingly, there are not many places nearby where you can relax. There are some cafés near the office buildings a bit further away, but that's why this café near Tokyo Station is very convenient for meetings. You wouldn't imagine it from the entrance, but there is actually a second floor, making the inside quite spacious and rarely too crowded. I had an iced coffee, took a break, and had my meeting. Good morning at Tokyo Station Yaesu Chuo Exit ❤️ Enjoy a hot morning with the "Bacon & Egg ~ Melting 3 Cheese" dish, with sliced boiled eggs and bacon topped with plenty of melted cheese ❤️ The morning set also comes with a side of "Aiko-san" for a mega energy boost ❤️ Located near the Shinkansen platform at Yaesu Chuo Exit, it's a perfect spot to pass the time ❤️ There's even a "secret room" on the 2nd floor of the station, sure to be a hit with some people (laughs) ❤️

I'm outside the transfer ticket gate of Tokyo Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen, but it's located next to the Shinkansen ticket gate, so I was able to stay until just before departure time, which was great. I was feeling a bit peckish, so I had a choice between my favorites: a German hot dog and an iced coffee. The hot dog place was almost full, but the turnover was high, so I was able to secure a seat soon. The chairs were low and comfortable, allowing me to relax more than at other shops in the station.
