The food was delicious without any complaints! If I had to nitpick, I would say that the sushi rice for the meat sushi had a vinegar balance that wasn't to my liking. However, I used the course menu and felt that the timing of the dessert at the end was a bit haphazard. When I was informed about the course, I was told that they would bring it out at the right timing, so I felt even more careless. Other than that, everything was great, so it's a shame.

Reservation is a must. I visited because it said they had Amakusa beef, but it seems like the concept has changed to Chikugo beef. I felt really sad, but I ordered the Chikugo beef. I was able to order from the lunch and dinner menus, so I enjoyed the lean meat to my heart's content. The Chikugo beef was very delicious. I talked to my friends about coming back again, but there was one thing... They only had Malt's beer and shochu highball. It was a shame that they didn't have the drinks we liked.

Visited the restaurant with 4 bosses from work. We ordered the 8800 yen course with an additional 2200 yen for premium all-you-can-drink. The photo shows servings for 4 people, but the salad was served individually. We had a private room for 4 people, but the seating was spacious enough for 6 people. The service was polite, and they timed bringing out the courses well. However, there were some gaps in between courses, so it would have been better if they brought them out a bit faster. The meat was delicious, especially the meat sushi which was my favorite. Even though I was full, I couldn't stop eating it. Thank you for the wonderful meal. There is a smoking area outside the entrance of the restaurant with an ashtray.

In conclusion, the meat was unbelievably delicious and the service was excellent! The semi-private room was perfect ( ˘꒳˘)。o○︎(We visited for lunch on a holiday without a reservation and had to wait for an hour, so I recommend making a reservation a few days in advance. We shared the lunch set "Hanakago Kiwami Kyushu A5 Wagyu" [4,800 yen] and "Hanakago Miyabi Amakusa Kurogyu" [3,600 yen]. The lunch set came with a kimchi assortment, vegetables, and you can add rice for free using a tablet (◍︎ ´꒳` ◍︎)b. While the lunch set may be a bit pricey, it is definitely worth the value for special occasions like treating yourself or celebrating a birthday. I will definitely visit again (*´Д`*). On a side note, there was a signature from my favorite wrestler, Keiji Mutoh.

Visited without a reservation at 12:00. Despite being a large restaurant, it was fully booked and we had to wait for about an hour. We decided to explore the city during the wait. Received a call at 12:50 and returned to the restaurant. Ordered the Ryuen Lunch Limited Set for 7,200 yen including tax. It is stated to be for 2-3 people, but it was slightly lacking for two people. The set included a variety of kimchi, Negitan (green onion with miso paste), premium cuts of black wagyu beef, special beef heart, assorted grilled vegetables, three types of hormone, rice, and soup. The restaurant has a luxurious atmosphere and is suitable for business meetings or dates. We enjoyed the delicious meal.

When it comes to yakiniku restaurants, unless there are a lot of high school students or people who eat a lot, I recommend courses over all-you-can-eat. Courses offer rare cuts of meat that are more delicious than what you can get with all-you-can-eat. The courses at Ryuen are very generous in portion size, so if you only do all-you-can-eat, why not try the course once?

I always use this place for lunch. Usually, it's crowded and hard to get in without a reservation. This time, I made a reservation and enjoyed my meal. Every type of meat I order is delicious. This time, I got the mixed platter. The restaurant is also very clean. I would like to visit again.

Introducing the luxurious lunch at Yakiniku no Ryuen, Kokura Honten called the "Black Hair Special Yakiniku Set 150 (tax included 2100 yen)". It may be quite expensive for dinner, but coming for lunch is relatively reasonable to enjoy a luxurious meal (although dinner has its own charm). You can choose between 100 grams and 150 grams for the Black Hair Special Yakiniku lunch set, with only a slight 300 yen difference, making the 150 grams option more cost-effective. The 100 grams option costs 1800 yen (tax included), while the 150 grams option costs 2100 yen (tax included). We also added the beef tongue with salt (2 slices for 450 yen). It's a very luxurious lunch. Additionally, the rice and soup are free refills, which is a nice service. After the meal, you will also get complimentary coffee and almond jelly. The cost performance of the dishes, the service from the staff, and the atmosphere of the restaurant are all perfect. It would be greatly appreciated by bringing close friends, family, or a partner. I made a reservation for Friday at 11:30 a.m. The dishes I ordered were the Ryuen Black Wagyu Yakiniku Set 150g (¥1,600) and the Directly Sourced Amakusa Black Beef Hormone Mix (¥1,500). The Black Wagyu was incredibly tender and delicious with miso sauce. Rice and seaweed soup were free for refills. The hormone mix had a spicy saltiness and various textures to enjoy. I was happy that coffee and almond jelly were included after the meal. The spacious and clean private room setting, along with the great value for money, made it a very satisfying lunch experience.

✔️ Steak Sandwich/300g (¥2200) ✔️ Steak Curry/200g (¥1800) I tried the new steak sandwich and black Wagyu steak curry at Yakiniku no Ryuen. Both dishes had tender lean meat in abundance! The sandwich uses bread from the popular bakery "SHUNPAN LABO" in Kokura, which was moist and fluffy. The steak curry had chunks of meat in the curry sauce, and it was delicious and filling. While they mainly offer takeout, you can also dine in between 14:30 and 16:00.

After visiting for the first time in several years, I found the interior of the shop had been renovated and had a very nice atmosphere. I ordered the flower basket lunch set and enjoyed some delicious yakiniku with beer for lunch. The pot kalbi was the signature dish, but I decided to try something else this time. I'll definitely order it next time I come for dinner.

The price is quite reasonable for the quality and variety of food offered. They even serve a mini parfait for dessert. Everything was delicious and satisfying! Thank you for the meal ☺️ As part of their 33rd-anniversary campaign, I received a meal voucher worth ¥3300 for pre-booking the all-you-can-eat black-haired wagyu beef course for ¥5980 or ¥7980. I visited the recommended yakiniku restaurant by Shoji Sushi that I visited the previous day. They have a variety of local Kyushu black wagyu beef as well as Kobe beef. While it didn't feel particularly special, the gyutan (beef tongue) and kalbi were delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Actually, I've been eating out of my own pocket rather than using expenses, but lately, it's definitely becoming an expense for me. When it comes to visiting high-end yakiniku restaurants, it's important to pay attention to the interior as well. I heard there's a cool-looking restaurant around here, so after eating yakiniku, I hurried to Kokura. When I arrived at the restaurant, it was indeed cool! I took a lot of photos of the stylish rooms for reference. The food was also very informative. I learned for the first time that naengmyeon is made from the broth of water kimchi. I also learned for the first time that water kimchi is made from the residue of rice. Wow, I'll have to try making that next time. Well, it was a restaurant where I could learn a lot. Yakiniku restaurants have their own unique characteristics at each place, which is quite enjoyable. Bon appétit! I'll keep going to more yakiniku restaurants!

A very luxurious atmosphere at this long-established yakiniku restaurant with 150 seats! The first floor has private table rooms and lots of celebrity autographs displayed. The Ryuen selected course for 8,800 yen includes kimchi platter, various appetizers, yukhoe salad, thickly sliced tongue, selected kalbi, red meat, loin, thick sliced harami, selected yakiniku top mino with Kishu plum, seared fatty tuna sushi, and dessert. All the meats are delicious and the course menu is extensive, so it's a very satisfying experience. Highly recommended if you want to eat yakiniku in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka.

On a Sunday when most shops in Katamachi are closed, I found a yakiniku restaurant open, a true oasis! And they even served yukhoe (Korean beef tartare)! With my engine running on full throttle towards the meat paradise, I ordered a makgeolli (Korean rice wine) and planned my meat selection based on my drink choice (or so I say). Craving for lean meat, I opted for a Kumamoto Akaushi beef platter with thigh meat and lamp meat, accompanied by salted kombu. The thigh meat was surprisingly tender and delicious, while the beef cheek lacked the chewy texture and flavorful fat that I was hoping for. Nevertheless, the quality of the beef cheek made up for it. Dining alone for yakiniku felt a bit excessive, but the meal was simply delicious!

It had been a while since I used the restaurant at night. The private room had been stylishly renovated and had a good atmosphere. However, I felt that the quality of the meat did not match the price. I didn't find any of the dishes particularly delicious. The lean meat was very tough. The cold noodles were also very disappointing. The total bill for two people was around 20,000 yen. It was a disappointing experience for my first dining out in a while. I think the lunch menu is more affordable and convenient to use.

I visited the restaurant at noon on a weekday and was not guided to use the visit counter, instead, I was led to a spacious area on the upper floor. I ordered a 150g serving of grilled meat and was tempted to order more when I saw the sizzling grill. This late-night yakiniku place is in Ogura City, on Heiwa Street, called Yakiniku Ryuen. The restaurant is a three-story building and has a pretty spacious interior. The atmosphere is stylish and luxurious. The second floor has a corridor in the center with seating on both sides, making it quite spacious. The prices are on the higher side, but considering the price, the food is delicious. It may not be extremely delicious, but it could be a good choice for a date or any occasion where the atmosphere is important.
