I found an invitation for a Viognier tasting, which I really like, and signed up for it. I wonder what AC Condrieu is like. The tasting can be done at any time of the day, and for 2,200 yen, you can enjoy two 50ml glasses (about half a regular glass) of wine. The shop is right next to Marunouchi North Exit. There is a small counter next to the entrance of the shop, and they also offer snacks and a wine menu. It's a casual place where you can have 1 or 2 glasses. It's a rare opportunity to try varieties and price ranges that are not easily available in restaurants, and you can enjoy them at a price slightly higher than the retail price. I had a great day with the Condrieu Chateau Saint Cosme & Condrieu La Bonnette.

I visited the store close to closing time, but the staff explained the wines to us in a friendly manner, making it an enjoyable experience. When we were leaving the store, in addition to saying "thank you," they also said "have a good day," which was very pleasant.

I used it casually for a meeting. The sparkling wine available only at Tokyo Station was very delicious. The slightly high prices and lack of food options may be part of the shop's concept.

I really like wine, but it's expensive so I don't drink it often. However, I know about enotecas and occasionally peek inside. The wines are indeed high-end and the customers all look very wealthy! I mustered up the courage to order a few glasses of white wine at the counter. It was so refreshing and delicious! It would go well with pasta. I'd like to visit again!

First visit in November 2021 (No.3172) "Enoteca" is a brand known for selling wine, but they also operate restaurants. I have visited and reviewed Enoteca D'oro Otemachi branch before. The operating company, "Kabushiki Kaisha Metius Foods," was established in 1996. Although I had already finished gathering content for the day, I had some time before heading home, so I decided to stop by for a drink. This place mainly sells wine, but they have a small seating area for about 6 people where you can enjoy a glass on site. I ordered the following: Tokyo Cava Brut Reserva (100ml) for 880 yen. They don't have an extensive selection, but they offer 50ml servings which are great for tasting different wines. Mixed nuts for 550 yen. This product has a hint of truffle aroma and is a good amount to accompany 3-4 glasses of wine. Thank you for the meal.

Especially the red glass feels so light that it seems like it might float up♪ The taste is also like candy and I really like it✨The cheese assortment is delicious too♪ The raisins go really well with the Langlue♪ The staff mentioned, "After the state of emergency was lifted, we can finally offer wine inside the store!" I visited an enoteca with an eat-in space that I had been curious about. There were about 6 seats at the counter, but due to COVID measures, they were only seating 3-4 people at a time. The recommended wine of the day was Louis Roederer Brut Premier in a 500ml bottle. I ordered it without hesitation. It was nice to be able to enjoy a glass of my favorite champagne, especially such a premium one, at a low price. The location is very convenient, right near the JR ticket gates and accessible from Otemachi Station via an underground passage. It's a great place for meetups or when you have some time to spare. There were other customers that day, and it seemed like there were many regulars. The staff recommended wines not listed on the menu to the regulars, so it may be worth asking if you don't see something you like on the menu.

I was lucky enough to try the rarely available "Salon/SALON" for tasting the other day. Salon, known as the "phantom champagne," has only been released 38 times in 100 years. It is made only in exceptional grape harvest years. I think it's much tastier and higher quality than "Dom Perignon" or the well-known hosts like "Armand" these days. Since it has already been uncorked for some time, don't expect much fizz, so we poured it into a large wine glass. Even when the bubbles are gone, Salon is still top-notch. It's an extreme expression, but it's amazing because you can enjoy it as a so-called "still wine" too.

Honestly, I believe that Italian wines are mainly from Tuscany and further north. Southern Italy, on the other hand, is known for bulk wines which lack a sense of luxury. Whites are crisp and reds are lighter. I personally believe that the essence of red wine lies in the transition from bitterness to astringency, while white wine should have a balance of mineral notes and acidity. Unfortunately, I haven't found these qualities in wines from southern Italy, so I only own one bottle in my extensive wine collection - Monte Tess Agricola Punica. This wine is considered the pinnacle of southern Italian wines, second only to Barolo. It has received high praise from wine experts and showcases an amazing elegance. I recently had a tasting of Monte Tess at a store and was able to catch a glimpse of its brilliance. Additionally, I also recommend Jivri Blanc Premier Cru Clos, a complex and fruity white wine that has been highly praised by French three-star restaurants.

The surroundings are rather dim and inconspicuous, even at Tokyo Station. However, the lighting is beautiful and creates a nice atmosphere. Today, I tried a sample of the flagship champagne at Enoteca, Louis Roederer's standard. A few years ago, there was a wine bar in Tokyo Station that was very popular and had to close for various reasons. Now, there are plenty of dining options at Tokyo Station, but no wine bars! This makes this place quite valuable. Keep up the good work! (By the way, the wine next to the photo is a third wine from Chateau Latour in Pauillac. I remember trying it in the past and it was quite good.)

Medoc First Growth, rather than. Alongside Petrus, the pinnacle of Bordeaux wine. It's not an exaggeration to say that. Among the five great chateaux of the Bordeaux, it is the most muscular and weighty. The depth and weight that comes with long-term aging. Truly an object of desire worldwide. Therefore, the flagship Chateau Latour has become exceptionally expensive. Its second wine, Les Forts de Latour, has already soared to 30,000 to 40,000 yen. And now a third label has been introduced. Pauillac de Latour. Made from young grape vines, it is a third label, yet it is said to show glimpses of Chateau Latour to the fullest. The production volume is extremely small, about one-tenth of the first label. A very rare wine. Therefore, the price is around 15,000 yen. A bargain for a third label. However, to truly understand Chateau Latour. At least try the third label. That's the way of the world. This wine bar makes that wish possible. Occasionally encountered in other stores as well. On this day, we started with Chablis. And then this third label. Reminiscent of the Latour I had previously tasted. Enjoyed the rich aroma. This time, I had the opportunity to taste it at this store. It's rare to drink even a third label. Not bad for 1,450 yen (30ml). And truly reminiscent of Chateau Latour. A great Bordeaux wine nonetheless. It's all about the winemaker after all. Around 2:40 PM on Saturday, August 2020, I started my visit at Gransta. There was one woman already there. I noticed the wide variety of wines and my eyes wandered inside the store. Ohhh, a counter bar! It has a casual atmosphere that seems perfect for enjoying wine. Let's have a relaxing glass of wine. I quickly took a seat and decided to start with TOKYO CAVA, as I wanted some bubbles before having dumplings. They had a special offer where you could get 50ml or 100ml for a very reasonable price. Each seat had an acrylic board for safety measures. The staff kindly offered water, which I gladly accepted, feeling a bit weak from the beer and dumplings I had before. It was a thoughtful gesture. I decided not to drink too much and left soon after. I look forward to trying the appetizers next time, especially the olives and caviar that caught my eye.

The boss told me to go out for a solo drink here and there! My friends told me to work on improving myself! So, I decided to take wine more seriously and enjoy it. I went out for a solo drink. It feels great to drink during the day! I peeked inside the restaurant. There was a small counter on the right. I sat at a table in the back. There were menus on blackboards and papers. I currently like Riesling, so I ordered that. They prepared it quickly for me. I asked if I could take a photo of the bottle too. It was delicious. The aroma changed... The taste was also dry and refreshing. I had some country-style pate. It took a bit long to arrive, but it was moist and I could taste the sweetness of the meat. It was delicious. I wanted to enjoy the Riesling slowly, so I also had some rosé wine. I asked to take a photo of the bottle as well. It may sound awkward, but it was charming in a good way. I saved some Riesling for the end to savor it again. It's good for a quick drink.

Located in the basement of Tokyo Station, this shop is a great spot to grab a quick bite and drink. I recommend the truffle paste and prosciutto as they are my favorites. The weekly drink specials sometimes offer high-end options at a good price. It's a convenient and casual place to stop by, especially on Sundays around 3pm when there are usually seats available for dining in.

Tokyo is in Marunouchi. Just outside the ticket gates of Tokyo Station, there is a shop in Gransta. I wandered around Gransta to buy lunch and souvenirs. When my feet started to feel tired, I discovered this place! Even though all the seats were taken, a customer was just finishing up and getting ready to leave. I felt like maybe it was a sign from above saying, "Come in and have a drink." I swapped places with the leaving customer and went inside. The lady at the shop had a slightly cold but sharp customer service attitude. I had a glass of Franciacorta and asked her about it. She seemed to really love wine, and her natural smile and polite demeanor made the experience very pleasant. The Franciacorta was delicious, and if my bags weren't so heavy, I would have bought a few bottles to take home. Tokyo Station used to have a shop in the station (Hasegawa-san) where you could drink alcohol, but it's not there anymore. So, I think this place will be very convenient in the future.

I visited a second bar for one more drink. They only serve bar menu items like cheese, so it's not a good idea to go there hungry. I had a glass of white wine. The bar has an L-shaped counter that can seat 5-6 people. It's not a place to linger. It's located outside the underground ticket gates inside Tokyo Station Marunouchi area.

It's nice to have a set of three red and three white exam preparation materials. It costs 1000 yen each. The caviar something something is 2750 yen. It's quite expensive, but it's great for people taking exams as it makes studying easy and provides basic varieties.

Returning from a business trip, I arrived at Tokyo Station. I needed to quickly buy some wine to bring to a party that would go well with Italian food. As I was pondering my options, I remembered the existence of this store. I immediately stopped by and got a Barolo. The classic Barolo was well received by everyone.

I paid 1000 yen for two glasses of 500 yen champagne and a cheese platter. As someone who wants to make the most of their spare time between business trips, I find bars like this very convenient and helpful. In Europe, you can find these kinds of places connected to major train stations, but with JR, you mostly just see them near the stations. It's clear that JR wants to sell canned beer at kiosks. I wish they would offer more craft beer options for a quick drink.
